- a few months later -

Peter was looking for a internship. The Stark-Internship wasn't really an internship so... 

He found something and read aloud: "Internship in a science lab. You need: Enthusiasm for science, fun experimenting and motivation... 3 places left... Street, blah blah blah..." "Sounds cool, right?", meant Ned. "Yeah... I think that would be great for me!" 

Peter called the number under the ad and talked to the assistant: "Hello? What can I do for you?" "Hello. My name is Peter Parker... I called 'cause of the internship." "Ah, yes... What was you name again?" "Parker. Peter", he said. "Perfect, Mr. Parker... Would be Thursday, 4:30 p.m. okay?" "Yes! Thank you." "More information you'll get on Thursday in the Preliminary Talk." "Okay. Thank you..." Then the assistant hung up.

"And?", asked Ned, "Do you have it?" "I don't know... There will be a Preliminary Talk... I hope that I'll get it!"
Someone knocked on the door of Peter's room.

"You alright, boys?", asked Tony and Ned got a bit nervous. "Yeah... We are fine. Thanks, Tony!", said Peter smiling. "Morgan asked for you", Tony informed them, "She asked, if you want to play with her..." Peter looked to Ned and Ned looked to Peter. Ned shrugged and nodded. Tony went downstairs again.
"I still can't believe it! Tony Stark, the Tony Stark, is you dad!", meant Ned thrilled. "He isn't- Yes, I know... But actually he isn't my father. I see him more as my mentor or someone I look up to...", explained Peter. "That's exactly the role of a dad!" Peter groaned and switched the topic: "Do you want to play with Morgan?" "Sure!"

They went downstairs and saw Morgan at the door to the garage.
"Morgan?", asked Peter. "What do you want to do?", wanted Ned to know. "I need your help with some things...", she said and dragged them with her. Her suit was in the middle of the room on a table. "Dummy can't help me, mom can't help me with that, dad can't know, that I am doing something on it and he actually don't want, that I do something on my suit... So? Wanna help?" Ned smiled and nodded. "Of course! I mean... We hacked Peter's suit and have removed the tracker! Sure we want to help!" 

"What are you doing?", asked Peter. "I'm trying to double the power, that I can fly longer, higher and shoot with more effect." "But Mor-", wanted Peter to say. "I'm in!", interrupted Ned Peter, "What should I do?" "Don't you think, he set the power on purpose so that you don't hurt yourself or others, Morgan?", meant Peter. Morgan just shrugged and told Ned, what to do.
Peter felt not good with all this, but he joined his best friend and helped Morgan.

At Lunchtime the three were very quiet.
"Is everything alright, with you?", asked Pepper concerned. "Yes! Everything is fine!", said Ned and Peter at the same time. Tony looked at them suspicious.

- After Lunch -

"Morgan, I'm not doing that", meant Peter, "I hate it to lie to them! I'm out!" Ned and she went back in the garage and let Peter stand there.
"Seriously, Ned?!", he said to him, when he followed them."What...?" Peter rolled with the eyes. Then he picked up his jacked and and went outside.
Outside was it a bit cold. It was December.
Soon would be Christmas.
Peter already got the presents.
