The Sky (Part 2)

So I haven't been able to access the docs that have all the requested stuff on it, so you get this, which is a sequel to The Sky. Enjoy!! P. S. If you wanna request something, please send a direct message, because it's hard for me to scroll through the notifications to see what was requested, thanks!

Peter refused to let go of Tony after he got home. Mainly because holy shit he was home. Tony was here. He could see his sky again. Tony had to basically carry him into the tower and to the living room. Who are we kidding? He totally carried him. Peter was busy trying to calm himself, so he barely even noticed when he left the ground and simply held in to Tony tighter.

When your grandma asks what you're writing about ;~;

Tony was fully prepared to give Peter all the time in the world. He was prepared for 3 am cuddles after nightmares. He was prepared for midnight hot chocolate for when they can't sleep. He was prepared for days in the lab where Peter would brush their arms every once in a while because that's what he did, that was Peter. But God, he would never be prepared for the kid's broken sobs, words he could just barely make out. The kid fucking disassociating. No, he wasn't prepared for that at all.

Tony set Peter on the couch, he was going to grab the kid some water to help him calm down. But Peter clutched on to him tighter.

"Don't leave, don't leave, please don't leave me. I've been alone so long, I just or you back, please," Peter sobbed. Tony began shushing him, cradling Peter's head into his chest. He felt the shirt getting wet with tears, but couldn't care less. Those were Peter's tear. He's only ever seen Peter cry at sappy movies. Never in pain or fear, so Tony felt shaken up. What does he do? What the hell does he do?

"I'm not leaving, I got you, shh," Tony murmured into Peter's hair. He adjusted their position so that Peter was tucked up in his lap and he was sitting on the couch. Peter's broken voice was repeating the same phrase over and over again.

"Don't go, don't go, please, don't go," it broke Tony's heart. How can he fix this? He began rocking back an forth,  hoping to calm Peter like a baby. It seemed to be working though, as his words slowly turned to whimpers. Tony released a sigh of relief as he continued to rock them side to side. Eventually, Peter was a lot calmer than before. He had his face stuffed into Tony's chest and he was sniffling. Tony ran his fingers through the kid's hair.

"I'm not going anywhere, buddy, I have you," Tony said, his own eyes tearing up some.

"FRIDAY,  can you get someone to bring me water for Peter, please?" Tony whispered into the air.

"Of course," FRIDAY responded. A minute later, someone walked in. Tony, at first, thought it was an intern, so he grabbed the glass with a 'thanks' and began to help Peter drink it, seeing as his hands were shaking so badly.

"So, Spiderman's a kid, huh?" Tony groaned internally. Luckily, Peter was too tired to be focusing on more than one thing, and the one thing he was focussing on was the water. Tony turned and saw Nat, who had a rare smile on her face as she stared at Peter's face. She was behind him.

"Yeah, 16," Tony informed her with one of those smiles that only a proud parent could pull off.

"He looks rough," Natasha noted. Tony hummed in agreement.

"Well, he has separation anxiety as it is, then he was alone all that time. Definitely not helping," Tony sighed. He pulled the glass away gently, to give Peter a breather. Peter whined softly, his throat was being soothed by that water. Tony gently began giving him it again. Peter sighed contently into the cup. When the water was finished, Tony handed the glass back to Natasha as Peter buried himself back into his chest.

"'m throat hurts," Peter mumbled. Tony licked his lips thoughtfully. This kid has super metabolism, what could help with the pain? Tony realized that more than likely, it would be sleep.

"It's okay, buddy. Just take a nap okay? It will feel better when you wake up," Peter just shook his head and pulled gently at the Spiderman suit. Tony easily realized what he wanted.

"Okay, we'll go to your room and you can change. Then we'll take a nap, yeah?" Peter hummed his agreement. Tony didn't even bother with trying to get the kid to walk, he just picked him up and carried him to his room.

"Can you change?" Tony asked softly. Peter nodded.

"Okay. I'm going to change too, then I'llbe right back, okay? Right back," Peter stiffened and tears filled his eyes, but he nodded anyway. Tony ran one last hand through the kid's hair before grabbing him some sweatpants and a T-shirt, then going to his room. He was quick in changing, then grabbed an extra sweatshirt for Peter to wear. He made his way back to Peter's room and knocked before entering. Peter was curled up, his suit discarded on the floor. Tony simply kicked it under the bed, then helped Peter into the sweatshirt before climbing in the bed himself. Peter instantly latched on to Tony. And Tony let it happen. Even though Peter didn't notice the difference in the room yet, Tony knew it would play a big part soon, and with that, they both drift off to sleep.

Part 3 coming soon :)
