Stabbed
Peter was good with wounds, if he would say so himself. I mean, it comes with the job, Spiderman, and all. But this? This was out of his expertise. The wound was right in his abdomen and still hadn't closed yet. Usually his wounds would stop bleeding by now, but not this one...
Currently he was holding a wet, cold, towel to his abdomen. He was stopping himself from curling up in pain. God, it hurts. Peter choked back a sob and stared at the ceiling, tears leaking down his cheeks. It was a good thing May was working a double shift today. His phone buzzed and a tune started playing, scaring Peter. He jumped slightly, jostling the wound, making him hiss in pain before blindly grasping around for his phone. Once he gripped it, he brought it up to his face to read the contact. It was Tony. Peter breathed deeply, only to curse in pain, before answering.
"H-hey Mr. Stark! I'm doing okay, no reason for you to be calling at all... Right?" Peter asked, his voice shaky and an octave higher. He heard Tony scoff.
"Peter, Karen tells me whenever you're even slightly injured. Now, how's the wound doing?" Tony questioned. Peter swallowed thickly.
"I- uh- its not- its still bleeding, and I- I don't know what to do and and it hurts Tony, it hurts," Peter whimpered into the phone. A sob escaped. He heard some muffled talking.
"Okay, we're coming to you, stay where you are," Peter sniffled.
"Please don't hang up," Peter cried into the phone.
"I won't kiddo, I'm here. Guess what? You're gonna get to meet Bruce," Tony tried to get the kid's mind off the pain. God, if Peter was crying, it must really hurt. He could hear Peter's shaky breaths and curses of pain when he shifted.
"You know, if Cap heard that potty mouth, he'd be disappointed," Tony joked gently.
"I've heard," Peter laughed, but cut himself off with a wet cough. He cried out in pain as the cough wracked his body. Tony told Happy to drive faster, and he did. They made it to Peter quickly. He was on the kitchen floor, his hair was matted down with sweat and dirt caked his suit. Blood was pooled around him on the tiles. Tony finally hung up the phone. Bruce got to work quickly, knowing that numbing medicine would work on Peter. He took the bloody towel away and pulled out disinfectant wipes, and wiped down the area of the wound. Then, he pulled out the needle and stitched Peter together. Peter barely moved, most likely not even feeling the needle due to the greater pain of the wound. Bruce quickly bandaged up Peter's stitches then turned to Tony.
"We're definitely gonna want to keep an eye on the wound.
And that is how Peter got himself at the tower, under the watchful eye of his mentor.
