I was a giver until i turned to this sore empty void

but tonight I'm gonna drape my cape

and drag this sack

steal a little love from the sidewalks where we used to talk

steal a little respect from the musty bookshops

tear a few pages and swallow magic whole

a bit of fantasy until it vanishes when dawn arises

because that's what I've been told that 

I need to steal my magic back

tonight I'm a raven that will steal your magic 

the light that you stole from me

the laughter that you claimed yours without paying

steal a little glitter from the downtown pub's beer

a little dust and daylight which the curtains hide

in folds and watch everyone in dismay; i will be

raven hood  for a night

i will steal my darkness from you

my light

my woes

my cries

my laughter

my lies

make it mine

again.
