Chapter Three
It Was Pin 

3rd Person POV

iris woke up the next morning and all she could remember was the talk with her mom. no riding bullet, no matter what. she couldn't do that but what was the different between bullet and kansas. she went to the stables after and she found marcus quickly

"hey you can have this back" she said and she handed him his jacket back as he smiled and took it. he wrapped it around his arm and smiled

zoe came over and grabbed her arm leading her away from marcus

"jesus zoe what?" she asked and zoe brought her into a room as she pulled out the sedative and held it in front of her face

"i found this pins jacket pocket, this is a sedative. is he a pony thief?" zoe asked and iris picked it up as she spent it around in her hand and sighed

"i don't think so but we don't know. i'll keep an eye on him, see you zoe" iris spoke and she removed her arm as she was walked to bullets pen and she walked in

"hey there buddy" she said and she pet him and smiled . the door opened and becky walked in with jade as they put in a camera and looked at iris

"what's this?" iris asked as she looked at it

"zoe showed us, this is to protect the horses from thieves" becky said and iris nodded before they looked at each other and then the time

"we have to go but you and zoe have each other , good luck" they said and they grabbed bob as they left the stables. iris and zoe went to the haystacks. iris sat down and stared at her phone as xoe stared at theirs. they heard someone drop something and iris looked up to see pin

"iris" he said and zoe looked back at iris

"hey" she said and she hopped down from the hay as she looked at him

"you know if you're here, you should be riding. let's get you a hat. bullet is somehow tacked up, hearing your name makes him calm. we should get you going" he said and iris looked at zoe as both of their eyes widened

"iris..." she led off

"sure let's go" iris said ignoring her sister. she walked with pin to the arena and saw bullet standing there with marcus and sam waiting for iris

"there she is" sam said and she handed the hat to iris as she put it on and smiled

"you ready for this?" marcus asked and iris looked around to see pin and zoe watching her

"i sure hope so" iris said and she looked at bullet again before she pet him and nodded

"let's do this" she spoke and she got onto bullet with the help of marcus. she pet him as he huffed and she looked down at him

"you're a natural" he said and iris smiled

" i have a horse back at home, his name is kansas" she stated and he smiled as she squeezed her legs together and bullet started to trot slowly. she ran her hand down his mane and pet his side. they continued to trot around the arena as iris kept making eye contact with pin

"he likes you, i've never seen him so calm around someone" Sam spoke and iris smiled as she pet him again. she held his reins and sam stopped them before she nodded and they continued to trot around the arena again.

"close your eyes" sam said and iris nodded as she closed them and looked around

"think of a time you felt really relaxed" sam stated and iris sighed as she began speaking

"it was back home, in la. i was with kansas and we were riding. we got to the river and stopped riding. he swam in the water with me" iris said and she heard marcus chuckle

"lift your arms" sam said and she lifted her arms as she continued riding. she looked up to see zoe running away after pin and she sighed but she continued to ride until she heard mia and stopped

"go marcus help her with her jumps" she said and marcus nodded as she got off of bullet and ran after zoe. they walked into the stables and iris saw pin walk into the shed as he grabbed a bag and grabbed something. she watched as he walked into the other shed and they heard iris covered zoe's mouth as he popped open the cabinet

"Thief!" zoe said and she made iris stand up with her

"so you are spying on me" he stated

"yes, we are. you're stealing sedatives to keep your target quiet" zoe said

"wait zoe let's hear him out" iris tried but zoe pulled her arm away

"no, he's a horse thief. admit it or you're working with them" zoe exclaimed

"you think i'd steal a horse?" he asked and iris shook her head as zoe opened the door and yelled

"we caught pin breaking into the medicine cabinet. he's the one that's been stealing the sedatives" zoe stated and iris sighed as she leaned against the wall

" i gave you a chance. this is how you repay me? get ted" sam said

"he might be involved" marcus stated and iris sighed again as she watched them

"pin, i'm sorry but i better call the police" sam stated

"do it" he said and marcus walked into the shed as iris and zoe walked away. they walked outside and watched as pin got pit on the cop car and they drove away. jade walked in with becky, rosie and bob

"it was pin" becky asked

"yeah" iris spoke and she looked down at her shoes. they heard a neigh

"bullet" iris said and she ran in to see raven and bullet getting out of their stables.

"bullet bullet hey it's okay" iris said and he calmed down but on the other side, zoe was having trouble with raven. iris sighed as she pet bullet. she shook her head and leaned her head against him

" i have to go buddy, i'll see you later" iris said and she pet him one last time before she left the stables

she felt an ache in her chest but she didn't know why. she was only protecting the horses, why did she feel bad?

she didn't want to feel bad

yes zoe will be involved but she'll end up with marcus. we all know who iris will end up with but i love iris being involved with marcus and pin for right now
