I HAVEN'T TALKED TO HIM SINCE THAT NIGHT-outside of class, obviously. Rex said to give him time, so that's what I'm doing.

Even though it's killing me to do so.

I'm not sure he's okay.

I've seen him around school and he just looks so. . .checked out.

It worry's me.

As much as I want to run up to him and wrap him in my arms, I don't. He'll probably hate me more for it too. Joey's never been the type that liked hugs-or just any sort of physical touch.

Rex still hangs out with him. Apparently whatever is going on with Joey is worthy of him pushing me away, but not Rex.

I'm trying to wait for Joey to come back around, I really am. But it's really hard.

Rex is worried about him too, but he's scared to bring it up to Joey because he knows that Joey will block him out afterwards and that's the last thing Joey needs-to lose another friend.

I'll give him time.

Last chapter of act one! There aren't a lot of first year and second year chapters, so act one and two are kind of short. (There aren't that many fourth year chapters either btw)
