Sometimes, I guess, by being brave for others, we get the strength to be brave for ourselves. There are times when we pick someone up, help them come back to their feet, help them fight their demons and fears. And while doing that, we find within ourselves an indomitable, irreversible spark ignited. While motivating them, or maybe doing something that they ask you to do, something that you would not do ever for your own self, but you do it knowing that it is the right thing to do for then , you  realize that you are stronger than you think. 

Just like in the TV show - TOUCH . Martin Bohm is just a normal person trying to make ends meet for his son Jake, who has never spoken a single word in 11 years of his existence. He never communicates. And then when one day Jake starts communicating by writing some series of numbers again and again and again, Martin knows he needs to follow those clues. He braves the government, a multi- millionaire firm, top executives, to actually follow whatever Jake tries to communicate. He helps a dozen people whilst on his own journey, but in that journey he does things he never would have n done. He once  calls the number that Jake writes and calls the person and just says something along the lines of  - " I know this may sound crazy, but I think we are supposed to meet.' He goes into a building that was about to be demolished because Jake somehow communicated to him that there is a person still there in the building.He went into a highly secure research facility to save a scientist, with just the help of Jake and a friend, without any training in fighting the gunmen he would find there. It was just his sheer willpower to help communicate with his own son that helped him be so brave and do things he would not have otherwise imagined doing while he shifted jobs to earn and look after Jake, all alone as a single parent.

I have seen people stand up on their feet for the sake of others. I have seen people do awesome things for the people they love. Because sometimes our love for each other gives us an undefined power and strength to do what we never have done before.

So, try to help others, be brave for them when they themselves cannot stand on their feet. Because love does have the power to strengthen us and people all around us. Maybe by helping others get through dark times, we might just be helping ourselves become stronger and braver.
