Sameer  - What? How? You know that I was kidding at that time right?

Naina - Yes I know. But am not kidding, atleast not at this moment.

Sameer - Then care to explain how are our lives kind of connected ?

Naina - I was 3 jab ek din hamare ghar pe kisine hamla kar diya. Pehle kabhi bhi koi hamla nahi hua tha isliye security bhi nahi thi n moreover dad wanted to give me a normal childhood so wo bodyguards n all prefer nahi karte the. Everything happened so suddenly ki koi kuch nahi kar paya, main bahut choti thi isliye mummy papa mujhe asani se chupa paye but the invaders killed them, everything happened in front of my eyes, I saw them getting shot dead, I wanted to scream, to punish them for harming my parents but the terrified and pleading eyes stopped me from doing so. They kept protecting me till their last breaths but I couldn't do anything for them ( she felt Sameer patting her back gently ). After killing my parents they wanted to kill me but chachaji waha agaye bodyguards ko leke toh majbooran un logo ko waha se bhaagna pada. After that incident, I started living with my Chachaji and Chachiji, they always loved me so dearly and Chachaji always tried to keep me away from the Mafia world but I took birth from a mafia, to be a Mafia. N then one day fortunately or unfortunately I heard them talking about the murder, from that day killing the Deathskull group became my ultimate goal. ( She said with hatred filled eyes ).

Sameer - Hmm...our lives are so similar but still we are rivals. Waise tumne wo kahawat suni hai?

Naina - Konsi?

Sameer - (* in a husky voice *) Dushman ka dushman dost. (*winked*).

Naina - Acha toh Mr flirt filmy bhi hain? Nice.

Sameer - Haa hu thoda sa filmy but sab ke liye nahi.

Naina - Acha?

Sameer - Koi shaq?

Naina - Sameer! We have the same goal, so it would be easier agar hum milke kaam kare. Also pure Mafia world ko pata hai ki hum dono dushman hai toh koi suspicious bhi nahi hoga ki hum dono mile huye hain. What say?

Sameer - I am ready! As long as you don't betray me, I'll be the part of the plan but the day I get to know that you backstabbed me would be the day when your family will attend your funeral.

Naina - Don't worry, that won't happen for sure. I won't betray but same goes with you, try to backstab me and I'll ( near his ear ) slit your throat open. Also don't expect me to trust you blindly, since we are partners now, I'll believe you but won't be a fool to not notice your suspicious behaviour.

Sameer - ( Smirking ) Now am sure why everyone calls you the Queen, clearly your thinking is really similar to that of the king.

Naina - N who is the king?

Sameer - ( tightening his necktie ) The person standing infront of you.

Naina - ( chuckling ) ( To herself ) Mr obsessed Maheshwari.

Sameer - Toh do you have any plan.

Naina - Am always ready.

Sameer - Toh fir batao jaldi plan kya hai.

Naina - Listen....

Naina narrated the whole plan. Sameer looked quite impressed with it. Due to work Naina had not taken any rest since a day or two and was looking really tired.

Sameer - Naina tum bahut thaki hui ho ek kaam karo tum so jao thoda waise bhi abhi lagta nahi hai ki nikal  paenge yaha se aur upar se yaha par network bhi nahi hai toh hume kisike ane tak yahi intezaar karna padega.

Naina - Lagta toh yahi hai. But chalega am not sleepy.

Sameer - Aree you look really tired aur dar ne koi baat nahi hai main kat nahi lunga tumhe, so karlo thoda rest better lagega.

Naina - Maine kaha na am fine.

Sameer - (To himself ) Kitni ziddi hai yeh ladki, Ana se zyaada toh ise manana mushkil hai.

Naina - Kuch kaha?

Sameer - Kuch suna?

Naina - ( narrowing her eyes at him ) hmm. Thik hai.

Sameer's P.O.V

I knew Naina was hell sleepy but was constantly denying it so I decided to see for how long can she resist herself from not travelling into her dreamland.

5 minutes later :

It had been only 5 minutes and there she goes, sleeping peacefully. Just five minutes ago she was completely denying me that she wasn't sleepy at all and now she is already looking like she is in a coma. She looked so much innocent, so much peaceful while sleeping. Her long dark eyelashes covering her beautiful Hazel eyes. Her plump kissable lips forming a cute pout, probably because of any dream, and her the black curls coming infront of her face, ugh only I knew how much I wanted to touch them and tuck them behind her ear. That's when my senses kicked in.
" Stop checking her out, perv"

I mentally smacked myself for checking her out but was confident that I won't do anything wrong so I quietly shifted towards her, sitting right beside her. Taking a final glance of the two sleeping beauties, I took my phone out and started surfing through the photos I had clicked today, with my brothers and business partners. While I was surfing through the photos my eyes stopped on a suspicious one, I zoomed in trying to take a detailed view of it but as soon as I zoomed in, my eyes got widened ( Not in fear of course, I don't fear any damn soul in this whole fuc*ing world ). It's the same tattoo, the person has the same tattoo on his right temple and am sure he is from the Deathskull group since every member has tattooed their icon on their right temple. He probably was searching for his next prey but unfortunately got captured in my camera.
I couldn't help but smirk at the thought of torturing him to find out the details I wanted from so long.

P.O.V Ends.

Sameer's trail of thoughts was broken down when he felt a weight on his right shoulder. He turned his head towards his right only to find Naina sleeping peacefully on his shoulder.

Sameer - Sote huye kitni pyaari lagti hai, you are too cute little one. ( kisses her forehead ).

As soon as he kissed her forehead, he realised wht he just did, his eyes got widened and he backed off instantly.

Sameer - Main pagal ho gaya hu kya? Hope Naina soyi hui hai, agar jagi hogi toh pata nahi kya kya soch liya hoga. But wait! Mujhe kyu itna farq pad raha hai uske sochne se she is just my rival - cum - partner, why is she affecting me so much? Nahi yeh mere liye bilkul theek nai hai I am a bloody hell Mafia, I can't let anyone affect me. Yeh kabhi nahi hoga.

Suddenly he felt the weight being lifted from his shoulder, he turned his head to see Naina sitting up while still yawning and rubbing her eyes. Her puffy cheeks and sleepy face looked hell adorable.

Sameer - ( poking her cheek )

Naina - ( narrowed her eyes at him ) Sameer kya kar rahe ho?

Sameer - ( Still poking her cheek ) ( no answer )

Naina - ( Irritated ) Sameer kar kya rahe ho tum?

Sameer - ( no answer ) ( Still poking her cheek )

Naina - ( Irritated ) Sameer!!!

Sameer - ( Coming back into his senses ) Haa! Pagal ho kya? Chilla kyu rahi ho?

Naina - Kar kya rahe the tum abhi? Irritate karna band karo.

Sameer - Main kya kar raha tha? Tu..tum irritate karna band karo. Miss Rude Agarwal.

Naina - Main Miss Rude Agarwal? Toh...toh tum obsessed Maheshwari.

Sameer - ( Eyeing Naina ) Naina devi kahinki.

Naina - ( was thinking for a comeback but wasn't able to get one ) Ugh. ( Frustrated and turned to the other side ).

5 minutes later :

They both were still angry with each other but as Sameer had an important information to share and he knew Naina was not going to start a conversation anytime soon, so instead he calmed himself down and started the conversation.

Sameer - Naina  ( nudging her )

Naina hummed in response but didn't turn around to face him.

Sameer - Aree Naina suno toh (  nudging her )

Naina - Bolo ( interested )

Sameer - Tum pehle is taraf toh dekho .

Naina - Meri marzi main nahi dekhungi.

Sameer - ( To himself ) Itna ziddi kaun hota hai? Aur kya din agaye hain mere am a goddamn Mafia aur yaha par I am babysitting my rival. ( Sighing )

Sameer - Waise it's about Deathskull group. Mujhe kuch information mili hai.

Naina turned around as soon as Sameer spoke these words, her eyes got filled with curiosity and she looked no less than a child waiting for a toffee. She was so desperately waiting for the information. Sameer chuckled a bit seeing her childish behaviour but composing him, started speaking.

Sameer - Jab tum so rahi thi tab main aaj ke photos dekh raha tha toh tab mujhe us photo mein kuch ajeeb laga. I zoomed in and find the deadshot group's symbol tattooed on a person's right temple.

Naina - What the f*ck?! We had the perfect chance to catch him today. Par humne yeh chance bhi kho diya?

Sameer - Listen calm down. Itna tension lene ki koi zaroorat nahi hai. Is insaan ne shayad abhi kuch samay pehle hi unka group join kiya hai.

Naina - Tumhe kaise pata?

Sameer - Dekho Deathskull group ke har member ke right temple pe unke group ka icon hai but they don't show it in public n only some people know about it.

Naina - ( Thinking ) Acha, so iska matlab yahi hua ki usne abhi kuch dino pehle hi unka group join kiya hai aur kisi mission ko pura karne ki jaldbazi mein wo apni identity chupana bhool gaya. ( Smirking ) Aur yeh thi uski zindagi ki sabse badi galti.

Sameer - Right! Toh abhi use kuch din uske newly joined group mein hi rehne dete hain taki wo zyaada se zyaada information collect kar paye.

Naina - Aur is dauran hum use track karte rahenge taki kuch dinon baad hum use pakad paye aur use saari information nikaal paye.

Both of them were discussing the plan when all of a sudden they heard footsteps approaching the room, both of them got alerted and were ready to kill anyone who tries to attack them.

Sameer - Naina listen do not argue, do as I say. Koi toh zaroor is room mein aa raha aur agar kisine hume ek saath dekh liya toh hum khatre mein pad sakte hain, isliye behtar yahi hoga ki tum Ana ko lekar chhip jao aur agar koi khatra nahi hoga toh main tumhe signal de dunga aur tum bahar aa jana, main un logo ka dhyaan bhatkaunga aur tum Ana ko lekar yaha se chali jana.

Naina - Fine. Par agar koi musibat aegi then am not leaving this place for sure. And when I say it, I mean it.

Naina picked up Ana in her arms, who was still sleeping peacefully and hid behind the pile of boxes. Sameer had taken out and loaded his gun, ready to blow off the invader's brain, the door clicked and the whole place went silent. The door opened and walked in a young boy, probably in his early twenties with sharp features and a lean yet muscular frame, but not more attractive than Sameer, he was wearing the same uniform as the other workers present there which meant he was also one of them, it wasn't long before Sameer saw that the boy was trembling in fear!? That's when he realised he had already positioned his gun in front of his forehead, he lowered the gun, but the boy was still trembling probably due to the presence of the Mafia King in front of him, Sameer's powerful aura spoke volumes about him and many people knew this side of him, but the other side which was the exact opposite of the Mafia man - a happy, carefree person was just known to some people.

Sameer - ( indicating Naina to come out ) Aaj mujhe kisine yaha par lock kar diya tha KAUN THA WOH?!

Sameer said loudly which sent shivers down the boy's spine, he started trembling even more vigorously and was unable to find his voice to answer him. He did not dare to look up and had started mumbling hymns. Naina took this as an opportunity and successfully sneaked out of the room. Sameer sighed in relief that nobody got to see them together and then diverted his gaze towards the hell scared boy.

Sameer - Fine! Now get out of here aur ainda se storage check karke band karna otherwise you know who I am. ( dangerously ).

The boy nodded and ran out of the hall as fast as he could, almost tripping over everything that came in his way.

Both of them soon joined the others and since it was a really crowded place, nobody noticed that both of them were missing. The party soon came to an end and with it Samaina also left the place but with a different kind of feeling, trust and support towards each other.

This much for today.
