He then wiped his moist eyes and hugging the photo, laid his back on the bed and finally drifted off into deep slumber.

The next day Naina walked in to the cabin and found the information she had asked Swati for, present on her desk. She took the file and sat down turning the pages. She was desperately searching for him name when finally she found the  information she had been longing for. Yes, Sameer too was coming to the party.

Naina - ( Smirking internally ) Toh Mr Sameer Maheshwari, tum bhi party mein aa rahe ho right? I know it will be a lot of fun aur kya pata yeh tumhari zindagi ki akhri party ho? But following your record mujhe nahi lagta tum itni asani se maroge but what's the punch in killing one's rival so easily? Tumhe na main tadpa tadpa kar marungi aur mujhe please party mein na ake disappoint mat karna.

Swati - ( Entering the cabin ) Naina wo tune file check ki na? Sameer Maheshwari bhi araha hai waha toh tu bhi jaegi kya?

Naina - Meri behena ( walking towards her ) yeh bhi koi puchne ki baat hai? Akhir jab shikar khud jal mein phasne araha hai toh main chance kyu chhoddu?

Swati - Waise Naina ek baat puchu?

Naina - ( keeping her elbow on Swati's shoulder) Do baate puch.

Swati - Waise hamare kisi bhi dushman ke information ke liye tu kabhi itni desperate nahi hoti matlab nazar rakhti hai sab par, lekin company ke kaam, meetings etc khatam karne ke baad but aaj aise achanak sabse pehle bhag kar agayi uske baare mein jan ne ke liye kyu?

Naina - a...ba...ba me..mera matlab hai ki....ki....ki ( looking here and there ) HAAN wo hamara rival hai na isiliye matlab baki sab bhi the mera matlab hain par wo hamare liye itne khatarnaak thodi hain jitna Sameer hai. Ba...bas isliye aur koi baat nahi hai kuch bhi toh nahi. Hehe (* nervous laughter *) .

Naina - Bahut ho gayi baate ab ja apne cabin mein bahut kaam pada hai yaad hain na? ( sternly )

Swati looked at her weirdly, nodded and left the room.

Naina - *phew*

Swati - Acha Preeti sun. ( Entering the cabin )

Preeti - ( looked up ) Haa bol.

Swati - Wo pata hai bachpan mein na Naina ke sar par zor se chot lag gayi thi.

Preeti - Toh?

Swati - Toh doctor ne kaha hai kya ki us chot ka asar abhi uske dimaag par hone laga hai? ( started laughing )

Preeti - ( chuckled ) Wo khadoos toh bachpan se pagal hai tu bata tu toh theek hai na? Pata chala meri dono behene pagal hai aur main hi ek baaki hu. You know am the smartest ( laughing and raising her imaginary collars )

Swati - Aree wo kya hai na Naina aaj subhe se weirdly behave kar rahi hai aur especially wo Sameer ke baare mein jan ne ke liye bahut interested hai.

Preeti - Kya baat kar rahi hai.

They were so busy in talking that they couldn't notice someone else's presence in the room. Both of their backs were turned towards the door. The person silently started walking towards them and stood just behind both of them and started speaking in a low voice.

" Baat kar rahe ho dono? "

Preeti - Haan. Tumse matlab ladkiyo ko pehle kabhi baat karte hue nahi dekha kya?

" Kisi interesting topic par baat chal rahi hai shayad. "

Preeti - Aree bahut interesting hai.

" Acha? Toh mujhe bhi batao "

Preeti - Naina shayad like karne lagi hai Sameer ko.

" Kya! Sach mein? ( sounding amused ) nahi mujhe nahi lagta "

Preeti - Kyu? aisa hi hai.

" Nahi mujhe nahi lagta "

Preeti - Nahi aisa hi hai.

" Nahi hai "

Preeti - Hai

" Nahi hai "

Preeti - ( got irritated and turned around) kya hai bola na aisa hi hai.

But she turned back to see the least expected person, yes it was Naina.
Preeti's eyes widened and lips started quivering. (* Her expressions were just like Sameer when he got caught by chachiji while buying the pink nighty *)

Preeti - Na...na...naina

Naina - Haa Naina nahi nahi Sameer ki deewani Naina yehi baate chal rahi thi na tum logo ke beech?

Swati - Leh! Humne toh bola bhi nahi aur Naina ne toh pehle hi maan liya ki wo hai hi Sameer ki deewani Naina. Haye.

Naina - Hawa ane de. Chup kar ja abhi nahi toh company se nikal dungi tujhe.

Swati - Sach? Nikal ke dikha.

Naina - Ky....kya matlab? Sachi mein nikal dungi tu janti nahi hai mujhe.

Swati - Meri pyaari Juliet nikal ke dikha na mujhe ( trying hard not to laugh smile ).

Preeti - Ofo! Band karo tum dono yeh tumhara yeh Tom and Jerry match aur chalo mere saath Mrs. Racheal ki party ke liye nikalna bhi toh hona hai.

Swana - Aree haa time bhi ho gaya hai. Jaldi chalte hain.

Sameer was standing near Mundit and was looking a bit desperate for some unknown reason. He was constantly glancing towards the door probably waiting for a specific person to enter through it.

Munna - Bhai mere, kabse dekh raha hu tu darwaze ki taraf hi dekhe ja raha hai. Akhir baat kya hai?

Pandit - Aree samajh na chenu hamare Romeo ko uski Juliet ka intezaar hai tabhi toh yeh itna desperate dikh raha hai. Tujhe pata nahi hai kya wo- nayi ayi hai jo abhi underworld mein kya naam tha uska nai..nai...haa Naina wo Naina devi bhi aa rahi hai aaj toh, bhai tujhe kahi use bina dekhe pyaar-wyaar toh nahi ho gaya hai?

Sameer - Chup kar tu! Aisa kuch nahi hai. Aur yeh Naina devi kaun hai? ( Irritated ).

Pandit - Acha tu nahi janta kaun hai Naina devi?

Sameer - Nahi! Nahi janta!

Pandit - Sach mein?

Sameer - Haan sach mein. (In a determined tone)

Pandit - Wo dekh aa gayi teri Naina devi.

Sameer - Kaha ( hurriedly turned towards the door)

It was not long before he realised that he just got tricked by Pandit and he being like a duffer believed it. He slowly turned back ready to meet Mundit's curious gazes asking him for the reason why he got so much excited to see her but he turned to get a surprise, Mundit were nowhere to be seen.

Sameer - Yeh Munna - Pandit kaha gaye? Kahi kisi musibat mein toh nahi pad gaye? ( in a bit worried tone )

He was a bit worried and was about to call Munna but suddenly his eyes fell on the food counter and there they were, shoving everything on the counter down their throat.

Sameer - ( chuckling lightly ) Bhukkad

One hour later :

Sameer was standing near the bar counter holding his second drink and watching his brothers still eating. He chuckled again a little and took the glass near his mouth but stopped the very same moment when he felt someone going closely past him.

Sameer - ( stiffening a bit ) Yeh mujhe abhi aisa kyu laga jaise koi mere bahut paas se guzra jo mere dil ke bahut kareeb ho?

He turned back, to sadly found no one, he turned towards the counter to find Munna Pandit talking with someone that meant that feeling wasn't because of them. Now Sameer was damn confused why he felt like that and was there any danger here? Maybe it could be sign of the upcoming danger who knows?

Naina had just arrived at the party and she spotting an old friend immediately moved towards her. The party was really crowded and because of that she went past a person's back damn closely, which resulted her in slightly touching him, but she didn't know that this touch wasn't a normal one, as soon as her hand touched the persons back, her breath hitched and she felt jitters running round' her whole body.

Naina - ( Trying to breathe normally ) Yeh kya tha abhi? This.....this feeling was damn new for me. I, "I" ( pointing towards herself ) got nervous? Seriously!? Par kyu? Ugh....yeh sab na us Sameer Maheshwari ki wajah se hi ho raha hai, ek toh party mein aya nahi hai aur ab mujhe pagal kar diya hai, main na gala daba dungi uska (irritated) . Chal Naina jaldi chal nahi toh kirti ( Her friend ) bhi tujhe pagal samjhega agar usne tujhe aise khud se baate karte huye dekh liya toh.

Thinking so she marched towards her friend. They both sat down on the couch and started talking. They were meeting after almost 3 years so their talks weren't just limited to business instead it included all their memories too. Both of them were having a really good time when suddenly someone passed closely past the couch and she experienced the same feelings 'again'. She hurriedly got up from the sofa and looked towards her left but no one was there ( near her ) she then snapped her head to the other direction only to get utterly surprised since nobody was there in that direction too  then who could possibly cause her to feel the things?

Naina - Yeh aaj second time hai jab maine yeh feel kiya hai and I am damn sure ki yeh koi normal feeling nahi hai. What if we are in some sort of danger? Kuch bhi jo sakta hai. Akhir yaha pe baki Mafia groups ke leaders bhi hai and most importantly Sameer ka gang bhi ho sakta hai. I can't simply ignore this I have to check if everything is fine here or not.

She then excused herself saying that she has to use the restroom and went on her mission of finding out the sneaky little thing who is probably capable of imposing any threat on her.

Sameer had just passed closely past a girl and he experienced the same feelings yet again now he was hell confused about why the hell was he feeling that and who was the person behind it who was affecting him so much.

Sameer - I am damn sure yaha par aisa koi nahi hai jo mujhe 'The Sameer Maheshwari' ko affect kar sakta/sakti ho. Surely yaha par koi toh dushman hai mera. Mujhe check karna hi padega I can't just ignore my instincts like that. I have to check.

Thinking so he started his mission of 'finding the rival'. He had searched almost everywhere except the storage room. It was the last place left for searching and if he wouldn't be able to find anyone there too then it would be proved that he was just over thinking. He marched towards the storage room and upon getting close to it he found that the whole room was dark and the hall leading to the storage room had a very - dim light so that room almost flashed no light. He glanced here and there and finally entered the room.

Naina had also searched almost every place except the storage room. She was marching towards it and was silently praying to find no one there as well since she didn't want any fight break out in the middle of the party because it could result in many innocent's loosing their lives. The hall leading to the room was dimly-lighted and the room was completely dark. Just because of that darkness she couldn't see Sameer already present there and thus, silently entered the room. As soon as she entered the room a gust of wind came from one of the windows and hit the door and that was it, the door closed and got locked by itself leaving our loving Samaina together in such a situation. (God please save them from each other! Hehe.)

Naina was holding the gun pointing it forward, she silently tried to find the light switch and finally she found it and switched on the lights of the room. That was it the moment the light was switched on, their eyes met.

Wo dono ek dusre ki aankho mein mano kho gaye the. And suddenly they realised that they are enemies and this was the golden chance that they wanted, to kill each other. They lifted their guns, rushed towards each other and pointed the gun on each other's forehead ready to blow off each other's brain. They were about to pull the trigger but suddenly........

This much for today.
