After few hours:

The doctor finally came out. Seeing him, Sameer sprang to his feet and ran to him for enquiring about Naina's health.

Sameer - Doctor kaisi hai ab Naina?

Doctor - The operation was successful sir, aur wo abhi khatre ke bahar toh hai but hume kuch din unhe yahi par rakhna hoga taaki baad mein koi problem na ho. Aur jo bhi unhone dekha ya suna hai uska bahut impact pada hai unke dimaag par toh ho sakta hai ki kuch dino tak unhe nightmares bhi aye.

Sameer - Thank you for saving her doctor. Apko pata nahi apne kitna bada ehsaan kiya hai mujhpar. Kya main abhi andar ja sakta hun?

Doctor - Nahi please unhe abhi rest karne dijiye, we'll be shifting her to her cabin today, after that, aap mil sakte hain

Sameer - Fine doctor, I'll wait. Par please take good care of her she's everything to me

Doctor - Zaroor. Don't worry

After the doctor left, Sameer started waiting to meet Naina. Though Swati, Preeti, Chachiji, chacha ji, Mundit, everyone were waiting to get atleast one glimpse of her, Sameer was a little more impatient. He kept pacing back and forth to spend the time and when nothing worked just sat down remembering all the beautiful moments he had spent with her. He couldn't help but think of how everything had changed so much, including their bond, his feelings towards her, and many more things, from being a bloodthirsty rival to praying for her recovery, she had changed him so much.

Finally the unbearable hours were over, and the doctor gave the permission that any one person can go in to meet her. Undoubtedly Sameer was the one.

The moment Sameer entered, his heart started paining seeing the machines that were to her pale and almost lifeless body. Her eyes were still closed and there was tears stains on her face. She had grown thinner and the glow that her face used to carry had faded away somewhere probably because of the supposed loss of someome really close to her.
She was sleeping exceedingly peacefully, like she hadn't had a good night's sleep from so many days.
Her body had an uncountable number of cuts and bruises both major and minor, and her wrists were still red from the tight ropes that were cutting them.

Sameer's P.O.V

I had tears in my eyes, seeing naina in such a condition, when suddenly I saw her move a little, not caring about anything else I ran to her and crouching beside her bed held her hand in mine.

Sameer - N-N-Naina?

I barely could utter her name, these feelings were just new to me and were too overwhelming. After the death of my parents, I had tried my best to not show any such kind of emotions that would make me weak, but guess almost loosing Naina broke my dam of emotions and at the moment, I surely wasn't caring about how I looked, vulnerable or strong, emotional or emotionless anything.

Slowly she started lifting her eyelashes and i again got to see the most beautiful and precious pair of eyes in the whole world. She smiled gently at me as if not believing if I was even real.

Naina - ( *whispered* ) I know am dreaming, am coming to you, we'll stay together always, if not on earth then heaven let it be.

Sameer - Nahi am alive Naina, hum dono zinda hai kuch nahi hua hai nahi tumhe nahi mujhe.

Lifting her hand up, I gently placed it on my cheek and she just kept staring at me, in shock, confusion and disbelief. She was in a chaos of emotions. Endless tears started streaming down both of our cheeks and we had held each other's face wanting to just spend the entire life like this, just seeing into each other's soul through the eyes. But the happiness wasn't long lasting because the next moment, Naina's breath grew erratic and she started having difficulty in breathing, my mind went completely blank but still I managed to drag myself out and scream for help.

Sameer - ( *came back in* ) Naina-Naina dekho kuch nahi hoga tumhe. Main yahi hun doctors bhi abhi ajaenge, don't worry.

The doctors immediately rushed to check Naina while I was dragged out of the cabin with full force by others.

P.O.V Ends

The next hour was really stressing but thankfully the doctors managed to calm her down and put her back to sleep.

Two days later :

Two days had already passed with Naina being in the hospital, Sameer was extremely caring towards her and stayed by her side the whole time.
Naina was recovering successfully and even doctors had permitted to discharge her after two more days.

Sameer was currently sitting beside Naina feeding her lunch while listening to her endless talks. He was way too delighted for being able to hear her voice after so many days which seemed like years. But suddenly out of nowhere naina asked him the question, he had expected the least.

Naina - Sameer tumne mujhe kyun dhunda? Mujhe toh laga tha you have started hating me aur tumhe toh un logo ne mere samne hi m-ma-mara tha

Sameer - ( *sighed* ) Nahi wo main nahi tha
Tumhe waha se laane ke baad hume pata chala ki tumhare kidnappers ne kisi aur ki plastic surgery karwayi thi taaki wo bhi meri tarah dikhe aur use hi torture kar rahe the probably to break you mentally.

Naina - Sameer mere kidnap hone ke baad kya kya hua tha mujhe sab jan na hai

Sameer - Par kyun?

Naina - Please Sameer meri itni so baat bhi nahi maan sakte?

Sameer - ( *sighed* ) Tumhare kidnap hone ke baad mere office mein do log aye the jinki baato se aur proof se mujhe aisa laga ki yo-you betrayed me ( *looking at her apologetically* ) isliye main uske baad wale din room ke bahar hi nahi aya aur nahi tumse aur Swati Preeti se milna chahta tha
I had planned to give you a taste of your own medicine par gladly I was proved wrong. Kyunki uske baad wale din Nanu wapas agaye aur mere roon ka re ka darwaza khol diya aur Munna Pandit ne mujhe sab kuch bata diya

Flashback :

Nanaji - ( *after opening the door* ) Pagal hogaya hai tu? Kal se bahar tak nahi aya? Kyun kar raha hai ye sab?

Sameer - Nanu please maaf kijiyega par mujhe akela chhodd dijiye, mujhe abhi kisise bhi koi bhi baat nahi karni.

Nanaji - Naina ne dhoka diya isliye?
Beta dekh use ek baar samjhane ka mauka toh de

Sameer - Nahi nanu main uski shakal tak dekhna nahi chahta

Pandit - Par bhai wo

Sameer - CHUP! Bilkul chup kuch bolne ki zaroorat nahi uske baare mein

Munna - Nahi Sameer tujhe sun na hoga ab tak hum teri har baat maante aye hain par aaj tujhe hamari baat sun ni hogi

Sameer - Lagta hai tum log jaoge nahi theek hai, main hi chala jata hun yaha se

Saying this Sameer was about to walk out of the room but before he could do it Munna said something stopping him dead in his tracks.

Munna - Naina kidnap hogayi hai Sameer

Sameer - ( *stopped* )( *Turning back* )

Munna - Parso raat se jab wo log tujhe milne aye the usi raat se kidnap hogayi hai wo humne tujhe bolne ki koshish ki par tune suna hi nahi. Uska gun bhi tere car mein hai, uske paas aur koi weapon bhi nahi hai, uska tracker tak off hai jo wo kabhi bhi off nahi karti chahe kuch bhi ho jaye, is ka ek hi matlab hai Sameer, jaan khatre mein hai uski please bachale use

Sameer - ( *Straight face* ) Mujhe fark nahi padta wo kaha hai kaisi hai kisi bhi baat se nahi, usne hamari company ka info leak kara and that's what bloody matters to me

Just as he said this, Pandit remembered something.

Pandit - Naina ne tujhe betray nahi kiya

Sameer - ( *whipped his face towards Pandit* ) Kya matlab?

Pandit - Mujhe abhi yaad aya ki Naina ki ek habit hai wo apne most plans jo medium importance ke hain wo apne phone mein likh kar rakhti hai, kuch hi din pehle pata chala tha mujhe ye.
Jab main kisi kaam se uske office gaya tha toh tab bhi kuch likh rahi thi apne phone mein wo shayad tujh se baat karte karte. Aur maine poocha kya likh rahi hai toh tab hi usne mujhe us aadat ke baare mein bataya. Toh zaroor naina ko fasaya ja raha hai aur zaroor hi koi hamara apna ya jo hume ache se jaanta ho is kidnapping mein shaamil hai. Please bhai hume naina ko dhundna hoga wo khatre mein hai. Aur kuch nahi kiya hai usne.

Sameer was in complete shock listening to all this but a little amount of joy had spread across his face, knowing that his Naina wasn't a backstabber. He started regretting everything he had said about her and not even wasting one more second, he ordered everyone to start finding Naina.

Flashback ends.

Sameer - Toh yeh sab hua tha, but chhoddo ab iske baare mein discuss karke koi fayda nahi hai we've finally found you and that's what matters and I promise you that I'll not let anything happen to you ever again.

Naina - ( *Started smiling involuntarily* ) I know you will always be there for me.

They both smiled looking at each other and promised in their hearts to always stay by each other's side no matter what.
