Preeti was going to say something but before she could say anything Pandit started sneezing. This made Preeti worried and she ran to her room to get some medicines.
After giving him the medicines, she took him to the guest room and gave him one of Anand chachaji's t-shirts to change.
Later giving him something to eat, she wished him good night and got back to her room.

After leaving the scene, Sameer and Naina had gone directly to their hotel room, where they freshened up and took a power nap for a relaxation. Being two of the most dreaded Mafia leaders, police investigation was not a thing to worry about. Also the people whom they had killed were present on New York's most wanted list so killing them was kind of even helping the cops.

Next day :

It was around 3:30 in the afternoon when Naina finally woke up from her siesta. But unfortunately Sameer was nowhere in the room. She got worried and was about to get up from the bed when suddenly her eyes fell on a piece of paper which seemed more like a note, kept on the table. She carefully picked it up and to her surprise it was written by Sameer! And he had asked her out!!!

The note said :

" Hey, hope you slept well babygirl. ( *Naina rolls eyes internally* ) pichli baar kisi kaam ki wajah se hamari wo wali date cancel ho gayi thi par is baar nahi. New York mein hamara kaam toh khatam ho gaya hai aur hum kal wapas bhi ja rahe hain toh date ke bahane tum New York bhi ghoom logi. Tum aogi na? Aaj 5 baje main pick karne aajaunga tumhe. Tayar rehna.

Naina - ( *Rolled her eyes and smiled* ) Zaroor

She looked at the clock and it was already 4 pm.

Naina - Oh shit chaar baj chuke hain abhi toh jaldi tayar hona padega.

She started getting ready and walked towards her closet to select what to wear.She chose a simple yet classy black dress, which reached her mid-thigh. She adorned herself with a light make up and some simple jewelleries. And there she was all ready for the date.

She was looking gorgeous and was waiting for Sameer as it was almost 5 O'clock. As soon as the clock struck 5, she heard a knock on the door which made her really nervous but calming herself down, she walked towards the door to open it and the moment she saw Sameer, she took in a sharp breath. Indeed he was looking irresistibly hot. He too was in his black casual clothes as the date was more like a casual-celebratory date.

She licked her lower lip in nervousness and tried controlling herself from not jumping his bones. He caught her starring at him, but this time as they were getting late, he just snapped her out of her trance instead of teasing her.

Sameer - Naina ( Waving his hand in front of her face )

Naina - ( Coming out of her trance ) Haa....haan?

Sameer - Chale?

Naina - Haan? Kaha?

Sameer - Kaha? Tum bimar ho? ( raising his eyebrow )

Naina - Nahi toh

Sameer - Fir accident hua tha?

Naina - Nahi. Aisa kyu puch rahe ho?

Sameer - Short - time memory loss?

Naina - Pagal toh nahi ho gaye ho? Kya kya bole ja rahe ho? Dimaag toh thikane pe hai tumhara?

Sameer - Mera toh hai par lagta hai tumhara nahi hai

Naina - Kya matlab? -_-

Sameer - ( holding her shoulders ) Matlab yeh ki Naina, hum date pe ja rahe the? Isliye toh tum tayar hui aur tum hi bhool gayi? -_-

Naina - Ab...ba...ba....ba....mai...haa main bhooli nahi thi bas mujhe yaad nahi tha. ( Folded her arms and turned to the other side trying to find some logic behind what she just said ).

Sameer - Acha sirf yaad nahi...ek minute kya?!!! Naina dono ka matlab ek hi hota hai.

Naina - Nahi . Dono alag alag hai aur tum kyu yaha pe ab time waste kar rahe ho? Ab der nahi ho rahi?

Sameer - Acha theek hai chalo. ( Under his breath ) Naina Devi kahinki -_-

Naina - Kya kaha?

Sameer - Maine? Maine kaha kuch kaha? Meri kaha itni jurrat ki tumhare samne kuch boldu? Itni jaldi thodi marna hai mujhe. ( *fake laughs* ).

Naina - ( Looks at him weirdly ) Hmm. Chalo.

With that both of them forwarded towards a cafe for their date. They had planned for a small date only as no one would expect them to be sitting together in a cafe like normal people, so this means nobody will get to know about them working together.

The ride to the cafe was a silent one, but the silence was pretty comfortable. Finally they reached the place. The decorations and the place itself was really beautiful. There were many people present but all of them were busy in their own talks which gave Samaina the unspoken privacy they wanted. They sat down on a table and gave their orders. While they were waiting, Sameer's phone started ringing.

Naina - Kiska phone hai?

Sameer - Woh pata nahi kyu par Souvik ( Hope you all remember him )  ka call aa raha hai.

Naina - Toh uthalo na shayad kuch important ho.

Sameer - Pakka? Tum bore toh nahi ho jaogi akele akele?

Naina - Main bore nahi houngi tum chinta mat karo aur ab jao jaldi is se pehle ki call cut ho jaye.

Sameer - A...acha theek hai.

With that Sameer went out of the cafe to attend the call while Naina started checking her email for some business related work. Just as she was getting engrossed in her work, a group of boys came towards her.
All of them reached the table and sat on each chair ( There were three of them ).

Boy 1 - What's a pretty lady like you doing all alone in this cafe?

Naina - Minding my own business and doing something effective unlike you.

Naina smirked at him and the boy just glared at her while his friends were trying not to chuckle.

The boy's name was Vincent as his friends were calling him. He shushed his friends and started his mission of impressing Naina.

Vincent - If you want we can go for a long drive and then to my place. What say?

Naina - No thanks. Not a big fan of horny adolescent boys. So do you have any more shit to talk about? Or you have decided not to waste my time coz clearly you have plenty of it.

Vincent - ( He again glared at her but then smirked ) You know what? I love it when girls play the ' hard to get ' card. Anyways, I know you too want to come with me coz there is no girl in this whole town who doesn't want to be my girlfriend.

Naina - Really? ( Shocked )

Vincent - Yes really.

Naina - Well then I am feeling really sorry for those girls who are drooling over a dork like you.

Vincent - You....

Vincent got pissed off by Naina's comment and was about to hit her. Naina too was waiting for him to hit her first so that she could then kill him but before anything like this could happen, Sameer reached the spot. ( RIP Vincent *chuckles* ). As soon as he saw what Vincent was up to, his blood started boiling and his eyes turned bloodshot red in a second and without wasting any more time, he stormed towards them and in the blink of an eye Vincent was hanging mid-air with Sameer holding him by his collar.

Sameer - HOW. DARE. YOU. TRY. TO. TOUCH. HER! Sameer growled which made everyone flinch. The amount of power and authority he was radiating was just way too much for the people to bear. None of them tried objecting him, fearing that they would end up in vince's ( Vincent ) place.

Sameer then threw Vincent away, his back collided with the hard ground which made him groan in pain. Sameer then held his collar and lifting him up punched him hard across his face. Vince stumbled back and realised his lower lip had started bleeding due to the hit. This angered him and he motioned towards Sameer to punch him but he was way too weak and slow. He received another blow, this time harder than the previous one, and then another and another till he was bleeding badly.
Then leaning down to his height spoke in a low but dangerous tone.

Sameer - I don't like it when someone touches what's mine. I love her and do not dare to ever harm her otherwise I won't hesitate chopping you down into little pieces. Better inscribe this in that filthy mind of yours.

Sameer then got up from the place and walking towards Naina, held her hand and started walking out of the cafe while still fuming in anger.

Naina - Sameer suno dheere chalo na aur meri kaha galti thi is mein? Usi ne yeh sab start kiya tha main toh bas apna kaam kar rahi thi. Sameer kuch toh boloooo ( She whined ).

Soon Sameer stopped and pushing her lightly towards the wall caged her little frame between his arms.

Sameer - Un logon ko tumne mara kyu nahi? Khatron ke khiladi ban ne ki kya zaroorat thi? Wait kiska kar rahi thi tum? Haa? Aur wo tumhe maar deta toh?

Naina - Par Sameer main wait kar rahi thi ki atleast woh ek baar mujhe punch toh kare uske baad mein maru use.

Sameer - KYU?! Agar tumhe kuch ho jata toh? Tum wait kyu kar rahi thi kisika? Agar wo tumhare saath badtameezi se baat kar raha tha toh wohi par maar dalti na use.

Naina - Par Sameer main har kisiko toh aise nahi maar sakti hu na aur tumne bhi toh kitna mara use....

Sameer - Haan maine mara use aur uski pehli galti samajh kar jane diya par agar age se kisine tumhe harm karne ki sochi bhi toh uski woh akhri galti hogi. If anybody tries to harm you then I'll fucking kill that son of a bitch. Kisiko nahi chhoddunga main aur agar maine kabhi galti se bhi yeh rule toda then I wouldn't even mind killing myse......

But before he could finish his sentence, he got shushed by Naina's lips on his. His eyes widened at first and his mind stopped working but then snapping himself out of the trance, he too started kissing her back. With each passing second the kiss got deeper and more desirous. Their eyes had darkened due to the love and lust swirling in them while their tongues were fighting for dominance. Due to the shortage of breath, they unwillingly broke the kiss and were panting heavily.
Naina joined their foreheads and whispered in her unsteady breath.

Naina - Wapas kabhi khudko maarne ki baat mat karna.

They finally kissed?!!! Yes yes yes!!! They finally did that. ( *Starts dancing* )

Do you think Sameer had realised what he said to Vincent?

But why can't people just leave them alone? Ugh.
