Reader POV

After that day at lunch Dark and I have been sitting together. I have even discovered that he is in a few of my classes. He has such an interesting personality. It makes me feel happy to be around him. No one really knows were actually friends. Although, Dark does go to sit with his friends in the lunch room on occasion, I don't mind.

Dark and I are currently sitting in the courtyard, we were paired up for a project. I can't wait to get st0arted. He and I decided that we would meet up at my house. His excuse was along the lines of the fact that there are too many people living in his house. Also that he doesn't want anything to happen to me. Whatever that means.

We met in our usual spot in the courtyard. Sitting on the same bench talking and spending time together. Same place, same time. Although, ever since we have started hanging out even more, I have realized that I want to impress him, and get butterflies in my stomach. Speaking of they are making their way to my stomach. I think Dark realizes that I am acting a little weird. He keeps trying to ask me if I am alright, as well as if I need anything. I just respond with

"I'm fine Dark." Along with that, I will give him one of my signature friendly smiles. Over time he will figure it out, I mean I just did. The puzzle pieces fell into place and it clicked and I knew, I was falling for Dark. I mean I don't even completely understand why he would want to sit with me so often. I don't talk much and prefer to be alone. He is changing me. Basically I find myself wanting to go out and have fun more. I am thankful for the fact that he takes this time though.

"(Y/N)?" I look at him and respond with a quick nod, signaling that I am listening.

"Would you like to be my girlfriend?" He asks, offering me a candy ring pop, and a red rose. I blush profusely, and already know my answer. I nod my head yes several times and finally speak up.

"Yes Dark! I would love to." He practically tackles me on a hug. I hug him back after a second. He is such a sweetheart. I couldn't ask for a better person to be with me at this time. He was so nice to me, I'm just a normal girl, while he is a popular kid. I love how he is different.

"We don't have much time till our next class. Would you like to walk together?" He asks while tracing circles on my hand with his pointer finger.

"Sure, but what about your friends?" He just chuckles and shakes his head.

"I don't care what they think, if they don't like it. They can deal with it." He then proceeds to take my hand and pull me up to him. He wraps his arms around my waist and kisses my lips. Unexpected, but definitely loved. He goes to pull back, but I kiss him back and wrap my arms around his neck pulling him closer. As we pull away, we both notice that we ate panting a little.

"You're too adorable." He says then lays a chaste kiss on my forehead. I stay on my back laying on the ground until I hear the bell letting us know that lunch is over. Next I have History, so he stands then offers me a hand and take and he pulls me up into a hug. He pecks my nose, then we grab our books and intertwine our hands. I look at him and smile then he looks at me and smirks. I blush, he can totally tell that I am nervous about walking through the halls with him.

We walk over to the doors that lead to the hallway. I open them up and take a breath, then proceed to make my way down the hallway. The whole time blushing profusely, while hearing people making comments about me being with Dark. I am not very well known; I wish I could keep it that way. You cannot do much when you are dating the hottest guy in school. I really like Dark, and I would like for this relationship to go somewhere, but I don't know how long I will last with the attention from people around me.

As we make it to our class, I take my assigned seat in the front, while he goes to his seat in the back. Then the teacher walks into the room.

"Alright. Let us begin with attendance." I tune him out after my name is called, and look behind me. I can see Dark in the back. He starts making funny faces at me and this causes me to giggle a little. I cover my mouth to keep it concealed. Oh Dark, you and your silliness.

After the last classes are over, I head to my locker and put my stuff in my bag. Dark and I don't have the last two classes together. So instead he is going to walk me home. Our homes are not far from each other's. We are going to the park together; I am excited to go there it's really nice out today.

As I approach the exit slash enter doors I can see Dark smirking at me. "What does he have planned?" I mutter to myself. I get close enough so that I can take his hand. Instead, he puts his hands low on my waist. I cock an eyebrow at him, and he chuckles.

"What're you thinking about Mr." I say and wrap my arms around his neck, while he just smiles at me. Not a smirk or a plotting smile, just a smile, like he is really happy about something. He then pulls me close and kisses me. My eyes open up wide from the unexpected kiss. His right hand traces the small of my back, and he pulls me closer with his left. We pull away and I have the biggest smile on my face. We let go of each other. I take one of his hands in one of mine, and I drag him out of the school. I don't care what everyone thinks of us, I don't care about all the rumors that will most likely start. As long as I have Dark I will be just fine.
