"Gwendolyn!" Sadie shouted as she ran up the stairs and into Gwen's room. "I need help packing for the cruise." Gwen closed the book she was reading and sat up from her bed. "I haven't even started packing yet so..."

"Oh, my gosh!" Sadie exclaimed as she threw herself unto her sisters' chair that she had sitting in front of her desk. "This family is so unprepared it physically hurts me. Are you trying to hurt me? Do you want me dead?"

"At the moment, yes." Gwen mumbled. " Ask Ezra, he packed yesterday."

"Fine," Sadie reluctantly agreed. " But you should really start packing."

After Sadie left her room, she decided to text her friends to come over and help her pack, besides she wanted to see them as much as possible before she left. Going from seeing them every day at school to not seeing them for most of summer was a transition Gwen was not prepared for.

"Pookie!" Mallory yelled as the slammed open Gwen's bedroom door before she looked around cautiously.

"Don't worry." Gwen said as she lifted her suitcase out of the closet. "She's not here, you're safe."

"Thank God." Mallory said crouching in front of Gwen's dresser and pulling clothes.

"God damn it!" Justine exclaimed as she ran through the door, clearly out of breath. "Whatever, he doesn't like you back anyway." 

Both Gwen and Mallory gasped at the statement as the room fell into silence. Soon enough all three of the girls were laughing so hard they could barely breathe. "It's okay, i can still flirt with Ashton." Mallory said as she searched for hairclips around Gwen's room. 

"No, you may not!" Gwendolyn exclaimed in disgust.

"Damn." Mallory mumbled. " Why am I upset? I'm not going to listen anyway."

"Which bikini should I bring?" Gwendolyn asked holding up a plain coral bikini and a green one.

"Both!" Mallory said.

 "But that's not practical?" Justine said confused. "She'd have to bring two suitcases."

The girls all stared at each other blankly before Gwen sighed and went to the basement to grab another suitcase.

"Hey, Gwen." Mallory said as she layed on her friends' bed. "Since you're bringing two suitcases think you can fit this beauty?" Mallory made faces as she modeled the massive white teddy bear.

"I'll leave it here," Gwen said. "Maybe you can date it instead of Justine and i's brothers."

"Or maybe she can pretend its them." Justine suggested as she grabbed the bear and danced with it.

"Give it to me, Sister." Mallory said in a British accent as she snatched the bear from Justines arms. "He is my one true love."

"Impossible!" Gwen exclaimed in a deep voice. "My daughter shall not court a peasant!"

"He is also my love, Father." Justine said, joining the joke. "Ever since mother was imprisoned by those cruel people him and I have had a forbidden romance."

The girls tried their hardest to keep the joke going but they were laughing too hard.

"I shall not have this man being smitten with my daughters!" Gwen said through her laughter.

"But Daddy. I'm in love with him...And Walker Scobell." Mallory said.

"And that's enough." Gwen said in slight disgust as she thought about Mallory crushing over someone she once knew so well. She caught a glimpse of a framed photo on the wall in the hallway, just outside her room. It was of her and walker, they were around eight and Gwen had just won a soccer game. She stood there proudly hold the trophy in her right hand and her best friends hand and in her left.

She wished she was eight again. Life was simpler.
