WILLOW SANDLER: BACK IN ACTION AFTER TRAUMATIC EXPERIENCE

E!NEWS is proud to be the first to feature an exclusive interview with America's most beloved (and arguably the most well known) comedian's daughter.

Q: How does it feel to jump back into acting?

"It feels great, actually. After everything that happened with my mom, it feels good to get back into what I love. I have a couple of really cool projects lined up actually, and I'd love to talk more about those.

Q: Well, before we jump ship, let's take a step back and discuss. Can you provide any details about what happened with your mother?

"I—no, no, I wouldn't—I don't feel entirely comfortable discussing that, actually. I'd like to discuss my coming back into Supernatural, or the announcement that I'll be joining Mandalorian.

Q: Of course, yea, of course. You are joining the Mandalorian, which blew up in its season. Can you tell us more about your character?

"Of course! Yeah, so I'm playing Miria Desyk, a bounty hunter working closely with Boba Fett, who is a very well known character. She ends up taking a bounty from someone looking for 'the child' and instead, finds herself intermixed in a galactic battle and...possibly much more. That's all I'm really allowed to say."

Q: Got it! That sounds amazing, we're all so excited to see the new season and even more excited to meet your new character. Can you elaborate on any more details about your return to Supernatural?

"Well...nothing really stays dead in Supernatural, that's for sure. (laughs)

Q: I'm sure. Now, can we expect you in the first episode, or not until later in the season?

"That's a bit of a surprise."

Q: And what about the Walking Dead? Will your character find her way home?

"I will neither confirm nor deny anything." (laughs) "But everyone should tune into the season premiere, that's all I'll say."

Q: Understood. Now, to get a bit more personal, I have to ask: have you and your father spoken much since the accident?

"Wow, that's loaded and incredibly personal. Yeah, yes, yes, we've—we've spoken. I have a relationship with my dad."

Q: And are you seeing anyone? We all know how happy you and James Callaghan were, but he's in a relationship with Emma Stone now. How are you feeling about that? Do you blame yourself for the —

"I don't really, uh, I don't really think anyone's at blame. People break up all the time."

Q: Of course. And let's address the rumors of you getting a role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, which is at peak popularity. Care to comment on that?

"Oh, I wish I could be apart of it. I haven't been asked, but if I were — I would definitely, definitely do it. Without hesitation. I appreciate the rumor, though, thank you."

Q: Finally, how're you doing, after everything? I know the internet's been floundering, asking where you've been, how you've been. You were in and out of rehab, and you haven't made a public appearance in months. Will you be attending any red carpet events?

"Yes, of course. I'm—I'm good. Thank you, I'm good."

Suffice to say, Willow seemed fairly clammed up during the interview and dodged the heavier questions. But we are excited to be the first outlet to interview her since her mother's untimely accident, and we're even more excited to see her back on screen.
