Dharamshala was beautiful. It was the coldest place they've been to for a game. Aditi had a strong dislike towards the cold windy weather, she was a summer girl.

They were trekking, currently in a snowy area. Aditi layered herself with a hoodie after 3 layers of clothing. The hoodie was Shubman's. It wasn't recognizable, given it was a plain one, but it held his comfort.

"Guys can we stop for a while?" Shahneel huffed. They sat down on the rocks.

Aditi picked up some snow balled it up and threw it on Shubman's head. He didn't react. One twice thrice and finally "Kya hai!" He huffed.

She teased him more only to run from him when he chased her with snow in his hand. He caught her and put the snow on her hair. She screamed and hit him hard on chest. She threw snow inside his clothes. He let out a small yelp only to see everyone laughing.

"I wanted to say," she was still laughing from his reaction. "Take some pictures." He shook his head and yanked his arm from her grasp. "Are yaar, ghussa kyu ho raha hai. Please na!" She walked behind him. After a while he finally agreed to her and his sister's whining.

"Sorry Man." She whispered. He was still mad at her, pulling him behind everyone, she kissed his cheek. He sighed and put his arm around her. "I knew you cant stay away from me."

They stopped at a tea stall and had steaming hot adrak chai. "Cheers." Shubman tapped his paper cup with hers as she takes a picture.

Two days passed in Dharamshala, and today India won against New Zealand. Everyone were in the banquet hall for a dinner hosted by team India for the black caps.

Shubman looked at Aditi when she entered the room clad in a full sleeved blue short dress with white heels. She had her hair down and in light curls. Her and Hardik were approached by Kane Williamson and Rachin Ravindra, two players of the New Zealand team.

"Hi, Rachin." The New Zealand player introduced. She gave him a sweet smile, and shook his hand. Hardik gave him and Kane a manly hug.

"Hi, I'm Aditi. Hardik's sister." A flute of Champagne was passed in her hand from Kane as she stood alongside her brother taking to them. "Good play, guys. You both were amazing on the field." Aditi was a people pleaser, a very diplomatic one.

Hardik and Kane was taken away by Rohit, in mid conversation. "I heard you just got back from London."

"Yeah, I was there for my masters." She replied and took a sip of the alcoholic drink.

"Do you plan to stay? Or are you going back?" She said that she will be staying in India. Their talk went on, and shared a few laughs.

Shubman looked at them and decided to join in, only to talk to Rachin and not barging in because he's jealous. Shubman affirmed himself. He excused himself, went to them and stood beside Aditi.

"Oh, Shubman. Hi." Rachin shook his hands with him. "Aditi was showing me some pictures of you trip yesterday." He received a tight smile from Shubman right before being called away.

"Hey beauty!" He smiled at her. "How's it going?" They walked out in the balcony. Snow glistened on the railing in the light from inside.

"Good so far." He could smell the cozy sweet perfume on her mixed with hints of champagne. "Where's your sister?" She asked.

His face fell, "Are you dating me or my sister?" He made faces at her and she laughed.

"You sister is better at socialising than you." She winked at him.

He leaned in and whispered in her ear, "I'll show, you what I'm good at." She felt tingles all over her body.

"Yeah? When? Your room or mine?" She didn't back off. Before he could say anything, his phone rang.

"Papa ka phone hai." He went to a side to talk while Aditi checked her phone. She had received a text from Shahneel some time ago, asking her whereabouts. She pulled Shubman with her to find Shahneel.

She stood with Ishan and Khushpreet. "Finally, I've been looking for you."

"I was talking to Rachin a while ago." Aditi informed.

Shubman said that their father had called. "Papa ka phone aaya tha, vo aur mummy Bangalore wale match me aayenge." Shahneel nodded.

"Yaar, chalo ab bhuk lag rahi hai." Ishan whined. Shubman muttered 'bhukkad' which was probably heard by everyone as they went to the buffet.  After taking food they found themselves a table and sat to enjoy the dinner.

Aditi changed into her night clothes and decided to scroll the comment section of her latest post. Some comments that had hate speech were purely ignored. She smiled like an idiot, seeing how people have stateed shipping them. She texted Shubman.

It's been around a week of them being in a relationship, and both of them are putting efforts to make each other feel special and cared.

Aditi decided checked on her brother. He picked up the call after a few rings, "Su thayu? Is everything ok?" (What happened?)

"Kai nathi, taro pag kem che?" (Nothing. How is your leg?) she asked in a concerning voice.

"It's fine now, I've been told to do some exercises before bed. Tu theek hai? " She hummed.

"Good night." She whispered before hanging the call up. Nowadays, it is difficult for her to open up to her family. After her father's demise, Krunal and Hardik took the responsibility of guiding their sister in every decision. And most of the times, she's misunderstood or is contradicted. Not that she doesn't love her brothers but they are being too protective and harsh.

She wrote her journal before bed, just to clear her mind. She put her phone on charge and switched the light off.

Next morning Aditi woke up at 6:45. She decided to stay in bed for a while before taking a shower and getting ready. She opened her messages and texted Raghav about last day. As it was early morning she didn't expect him to reply, so she got up from the bed and went to take a hot bath.

She dressed up in a red sweater, blue jeans and wore a tan jacket over. She left her hair open and did the necessary makeup. She received a text from Shubman at 7:30.

Aditi got down through the elevator and went in the lobby. She saw Shubman in a grey sweater, black pants, coat and a scarf. She walked up to him with a grinning face. "Hey, pretty!" She hugged him.

"You look human." Shubman patted her head earning a glare. She pushed him away and turned on her resting bitch face.

He chuckled walked behind her to the car. He opened the passenger door for her and went to the driver's seat. "I meant a gorgeous human." He kissed her cheek and continued to leave trails of pecks down her jaw.

She pushed his face away laughing. "Chalo ab, aane me late honge to bahane bhi tum hi sochna." They reached a small cafe and went inside. They ordered themselves coffee and a sandwich which they got packed and walked to the park nearby.

They sat at the dewy grass on top of a slightly elevated area. Aditi devoured her cheese sandwich and offered a bite to Shubman. They talked for an hour or two, with cuddling and occasional cheek kisses.

"Let's walk." He said and helped her get up. They walked in the park and in hand. "You looked a bit upset yesterday. Kya hua."

His hand hung on her shoulder. She fiddled with the sleeve of her coat. "Krunal Bhaiya and Hardik Bhai are bent on making decisions for me. I understand their concerns, but sometimes I feel like I have no say in my own life." She gulped. "Raghav offered me to join his company. And I made my decision. Lekin they want me to try out for marketing manager in BCCI." She sighed.

Looking at Aditi who had tears glistening her eyes, Shubman hugged her tightly. "You're gonna be alright. Do what you want to. Bhaiya ko baad me samjha dena, samajh jaenge." He kissed her forehead and they went back before it was too late. They had a flight to catch after lunch.
