The morning of Shahneel and Karan's wedding dawned bright and beautiful, filling the air with an atmosphere of excitement. As the first light filtered through the windows, Shahneel and her bridal squad gathered together for the traditional chuda ceremony, a cherished pre-wedding ritual.
Shahneel sat adorned in the yellow orange patiala, her eyes sparkling with excitement as she awaited the beginning of the ceremony.
Aditi, standing beside Shahneel, couldn't help but feel a surge of emotion as she watched her friend prepare to embark on this new chapter of her life. "You look stunning, Shah," she remarked, her voice filled with warmth and affection.
Shahneel smiled gratefully, her cheeks flushed with happiness. "Thank you, Adi. I can't believe this day is finally here."
"Me either." The two girls lauged and hugged each other tightly before Aditi put her hand over her eyes acting as a blindfold.
As the ceremony began, the ladies of both sides came together, Shahneel's mother approached her with the vibrant red and diamond-studded chuda, dipping it into milk and then carefully placing it on her wrists.
Simrat and Saachi made her wear the covers on the chuda. "Aditi beta, ae le, Shahneel nu kalere paina de."
The kaleras were gently fastened to Shahneel's wrists by Aditi. Each kalera, adorned with delicate embellishments and tinkling bells, on the right kalera, shahneel had her and karan's initials while on the left one for her parents, in-laws, Shubman and Aditi's initials tinkled down.
Aditi smiled as she secure the kaleras, her heart overflowing with love.
As the chuda ceremony came to an end, Shahneel was surrounded by the love and blessings of her family and friends.
Aditi squeezed Shahneel's hand affectionately, her heart swelling with pride and happiness for her dear friend. "You're going to be an amazing wife, Shahneel," she said, her voice filled with love and admiration. "Karan ne kabhi bhi pareshan kia to batana, dekh lungi mai."
Shahneel smiled, her eyes shining with gratitude. "I love you, Adi. "

Dressed in a stunning traditional attire, Aditi made her way to Shahneel's room, a smile lighting up her face as she entered. Shahneel looked radiant, her bridal attire resplendent as she made the final preparations for the ceremony.
"Shah" Aditi exclaimed, her voice filled with warmth and excitement. "You're gonna make me cry."
Shahneel beamed at her friend, her eyes shining with happiness. "Abe oo, makeup kharab ho jaega!."
Together, Aditi and Shahneel put the finishing touches on Shahneel's bridal attire, ensuring that every detail was just right. Aditi helped Shahneel with her jewelry, adjusting the delicate pieces with care and precision.
As they finished getting ready, Aditi glanced at the time and realized it was almost time for the wedding ceremony to begin. "We should head to the mandap soon, Shahneel," she said, her voice filled with urgency.
Shahneel nodded, her excitement mounting as the reality of the moment set in. "Yes, let's go. I can't wait to marry Karan."
At the entrance, Shubman stood with Khushpreet, Seb, and Subeer, holdinh the chunni in his hand. He passed his corner for Seb to hold and made his way to his sister. Hugging her, he said, "tu kitni badi hogayi Shah." He kissed her forehead and Shahneel wiped some fake tears.
As the chunni hovered over Shahneel's head, Aditi came by her side and helped her down the stairs. At the mandap karan anticipated for his bride. When he saw Shahneel at the end of the aisle, he walked over to her and kissed her forehead, exchanging sweet compliments, they made their way to the mandap.
As Shahneel approached the mandap, the atmosphere was charged with anticipation and excitement. Aditi stood by Shubman's side, her heart swelling with emotion as she watched her friend prepare to take her vows.
Shubman's eyes glistened with tears of joy as he gazed at his sister, his heart overflowing with love and pride. Aditi sensed his emotions and reached out, wrapping her arms around his and intertwining her fingers with his.
"Oyy," Aditi whispered, her voice soft and reassuring. "Tu senti ho jaega to kaise chalega, Man. See how happy they are. Aur tu yaha ro rha hai."
Shubman nodded, his grip tightening around Aditi's hand. "I know, but it's just...seeing her like this, it's hard not to get emotional."
Aditi squeezed his hand affectionately, offering him a reassuring smile. Shubman's gaze returned to his sister as the rituals began.
As Shahneel and Karan took the pheras round the sacred havan, Shubman's emotions threatened to overwhelm him once again. Aditi remained steadfast by his side, her presence a source of comfort and strength in his moment of vulnerability.
"I love you, Aditi," Shubman whispered, his voice choked with emotions.
Aditi smiled, her eyes shining with love and affection. "I love you too, Shubman. I'm here, pookie."
Together, they stood in silent solidarity, their hearts intertwined as they watched Shahneel and Karan begin their journey into married life.

As the wedding rituals came to a close, the air was filled with jubilant cheers and applause as Shahneel and Karan were officially pronounced husband and wife. Aditi watched with a smile as the newlyweds exchanged loving glances, their faces illuminated by the glow of happiness and love.
As the celebrations continued, Aditi took Shahneel by the hand, leading her away from the mandap to get ready for the cocktail party. They made their way to her room, where Shahneel changed into a stunning silver two-piece dress, while Aditi slipped into a chic rose gold mini dress.
As they stood together, preparing to join the festivities, Shahneel's expression turned serious, a hint of emotion flickering in her eyes. She reached out and pulled Aditi into a tight embrace, holding her close.
"Ayy, dono bhai behen, kitne emo ho yaar." Aditi felt a surge of warmth and affection as she returned the embrace, holding Shahneel's hand tightly. "What's on your mind, Shah?" she asked softly.
Shahneel pulled back slightly, her gaze locking with Aditi's. "Aditi, promise me something," she said earnestly. "Promise me that you'll take care of my parents and Shubman when I'm not around."
Aditi's heart ached at the seriousness in Shahneel's voice, but she nodded firmly. "Ye koi bolne wali baat hai. You know I'll always be there for them, no matter what. You are my family, Shah, all four of you.."
Shahneel's eyes softened with gratitude as she squeezed Aditi's hand. "I'm gonna miss you, Adi."
Aditi smiled reassuringly, her heart filled with love for her dear friend. "Tu kaha mars pe basne ja rahi hai. Mumbai mai hi rahungi na. Tu jab bolegi, jaha bolegi aa jaungi."
With a final nod of understanding, Shahneel and Aditi shared a moment of quiet solidarity, their bond strengthened by their shared love and support for one another. As they made their way to the cocktail party, Aditi knew that no matter what the future held, she would always be there for Shahneel, ready to stand by her side through thick and thin.

Shahneel decided to get her kalera ceremony done in the beginning of the party. Aditi, Simrat, Heeth and other girls of the family sat in a row. Without even trying, Shahneel took a chunk of the kalera and dropped it on Aditi's head. "Of course, Shah. Of course." They laughed.
The cocktail party at Shahneel and Karan's wedding continued to be a lively affair, filled with laughter, music, and endless dancing. Aditi found herself swept up in the excitement of the evening, surrounded by friends and loved ones as they celebrated the joyous occasion.
As the clock struck 2 in the morning, the party began to wind down, and the guests started to make their way back to their rooms. Aditi walked arm in arm with Shubman, feeling a sense of contentment wash over her as they settled back in their room.
Shubman pulled Aditi into a tight embrace, his arms wrapping around her as he held her close. Aditi could sense the tension in his body, and she looked up at him with concern.
Shubman sighed, his gaze searching Aditi's face for reassurance. "I was just thinking about the future," he admitted, his voice tinged with uncertainty. "You'll have to leave your family for me, Adi. I hate the idea of you leaving Hardik bhai, krunal bhai, mumy, nats, pankhuri bhabhi, Agu and kavir, for me. Fuck this patriarchy."
Aditi reached up and gently brushed her fingers against Shubman's cheek, her touch tender and comforting. "Man, who said I'll be leaving them for you. You're my home, mummy papa are my home, as much as they are, baby." she said sincerely. "And, it's not like I would go there or Shahneel wouldn't come here. In fact, we're just one family now.
Shubman's eyes softened with gratitude as he looked at Aditi, his heart swelling with love for her. "Mumbai indians ka side effect, one family." He mocked. "You're my rock, Adi," he whispered, his voice filled with emotion.
Aditi smiled, her heart overflowing with love for Shubman. "And you're mine, Bubba. We'll always be there for each other, no matter what."
With a sense of peace and contentment settling over them, Aditi and Shubman leaned in and shared a tender kiss, their love for each other shining bright in the quiet darkness of the night. In that moment, they knew that as long as they had each other, they could weather any storm that came their way.
As they parted, Shubman took Aditi's hand in his, squeezing it gently as they made their way to their room. With their hearts full and their spirits soaring, they knew that their love would always be their guiding light, leading them through whatever challenges the future may hold. And as they slipped into bed together, wrapped in each other's arms, they knew that their love story was just beginning, with many more adventures and moments of joy awaiting them in the days to come.
