Marinette had to be the one to wake Adrien. When his alarm rang off, he turned it off and continued sleeping.

"Adrien, wake up! Come on," she moved him, but Adrien didn't even flinch "If you don't wake up then... Then I'll make you have a shower with freezing water!".

"Mmm... But you can't do that... Mhm... You're not strong enough... Mmm" Adrien mumbled, burying his face in his pillow. Marinette frowned and crossed her arms.

"Maybe I can't carry you there... But I could overshadow you," Adrien opened his eyes immediately "And you're leaving me no choice but to-". Adrien shut her up by pulling her to the bed with him. Marinette ended being under Adrien, who was keeping her hands beside her head, and her legs were between his. They started laughing, and finished with a sigh.

"Don't you dare, Purrincess" Adrien said, forming a big smirk on his face. However, Adrien didn't know that Marinette couldn't overshadow him. He was the only person immune to that. Of course, she wouldn't tell him that.

"Purrincess? Adrien, your Chat is showing" she smiled. Adrien got closer to her.

"Oh? And is that a bad thing?" Adrien asked, getting even closer. Marinette could smell his breath; mint.

"N-No..." Marinette stammered, and she had a good reason to. Adrien was trying to kiss her again. She didn't hesitate and leaned in as well. They were even closer than the first time. But destiny didn't want it to happen.

"Adriiieeen, I want my cheese!," Plagg then saw them staring at him, still in the position they were "You two lovebirds should stop... Whatever you were doing, and keep in mind this is your last day".

Both Adrien and Marinette blinked, and then turned to look at each other.

Dang it.

Adrien quickly stood up and went to the shower. Marinette decided to help him with his bed, and prepared his bag. Adrien came out as fast as he went in, thanked Marinette for the stuff she did and they both went down.

They gave the blond the same breakfast, and then both of them went to school on his limo.

"Hey, remember to tell your bodyguard that he has to pick you up at the hospital" she told him, and Adrien shook his head.

"Umm, listen; after school I'll be going to the hospital to visit a friend and then I'll go straight home" Adrien informed the Gorilla, who just nodded.

Marinette didn't quite understand why Adrien didn't tell his bodyguard to pick him up at the hospital. What was this guy planning? However, she decided to ignore it. Maybe Adrien had a good reason, and he was going to tell her about it later. Keeping that in mind, she turned her head to the window and leaned against it.

Once they got to the school, Marinette decided to simply pass through the car door. Adrien followed behind once he was out of the limo. Marinette noticed that Adrien was making gestures with his hand to make her follow him somewhere. The bluenette raised an eyebrow, but obeyed anyway.

Adrien saw that Marinette was walking his way and he walked to the boys' bathroom. Inside, he closed the door.

"Alright, I suppose you're wondering why I don't want my bodyguard to pick me up at the hospital" he blurted out, making Marinette take a small step back in surprise. She sighed.

"You took the words out of my mouth" she giggled, making Adrien giggle as well.

"The thing is I don't want to have a time limit to try to do something aboutbyour state once we're there, and I'm also taking advantage of the fact that my father is giving me more freedom than usual, and also that I don't think any akumas will attack since we have the one that belongs to Tloz captured" Adrien explained. Marinette crossed her arms and analyzed Adrien's logic. She had to admit, the blond had some good points and they had less than 24 hours to try and do something.

"I guess we have to go with it then," Marinette smiled "Let's go to class, we don't want you to be late, now do we?". Adrien nodded and both of them went to the classroom.

Once again, he was first greeted by Chloe, with a hug. While Adrien was stopped, Marinette walked some more steps before turning around.

"Adrikins!" Chloe tried to kiss him on the lips. Marinette was about to do the same thing she did the other day, but since Chloe was between her and Adrien, she didn't notice that Adrien had pushed the blonde away gently. Unintentionally, the bluenette entered the body.

Marinette, now Chloe, blinked as she stared at Adrien. What happened? She looked at her hands and noticed the painted nails. She was inside a body, most probably Chloe's.

"Oh..." she said, and got out. Chloe was a bit dizzy and shook her head while a hand was placed on her forehead. Adrien saw the whole scene and calmly walked to his seat, Marinette followed him. Adrien sat down and she sat down between him and Nino.

Alya leaned in and turned her head to Adrien.

"Yo Adrien, you're going today, right?".

Marinette knew that Adrien immediately knew what she was talking about. He turned to her and gave a simple answer "Of course I am".

Nino entered the conversation "FYI, we are going to buy some stuff before heading to the hospital, so you can go ahead once school finishes".

Marinette realized she couldn't let Adrien see Nino, so she just made her way to her old seat.

Classes passed and Adrien could easily notice that Marinette was starting to get more and more desperate. Of course, he knew why. So, to help his Princess, as soon as school was over, he headed to the exir with Nino and Alya.

"See you at the hospital then" Adrien waved his arm at his friends, who were doing the same thing. Once those two were out of sight, Adrien hid behind some bushes and transformed into Chat. Then, he offered his hand to Marinette.

"Shall we, Princess?" Chat asked, grinning in a flirty way. Marinette blushed and looked directly at his eyes. He did it on purpose. Adrien knew Marinette blushed when he acted that way, and he had no shame in doing it even if she now knew his true identity. He liked seeing her with a red face, he thought it was irresistibly adorable.

Marinette shyly took his hand and in murmur answered "We shall".

Chat wrapped her arm around his neck and pulled her closer to him by grabbing her by the waist. Marinette wrapped her other arm around his neck as well, and the feline superhero made his way to the hospital.

He de-transformed somewhere near the entrance and entered as his civilian self. When he was walking to the room, he couldn't help but feel some kind of deja vu. The halls were being illuminated by the sun, which was minutes away from starting to set. Adrien started running, Marinette did the same with clear confusion on her face.

"Adrien, why are we running?" she askes once she caught his pace. He reached the door and opened it before answering.

"It was around this time when I brought you to the hospital, so I suppose we don't have much time left".

Marinette's expression changed to one of pure horror. Both ran to the bed, but before she could get there, her legs started to banish.

"A-Adrien...". He turned his head to her and saw half her legs had disappeared. Then he noticed that her heart beats were decreasing, but for a second he felt his heart had stopped beating. What should they do? It surely was connected to the fact that Marinette could feel his touch. So maybe...

He turned once again to his friend, whose heading was starting to banish. Marinette tried to tell him something, but she disappeared completely before a word came out of her mouth. He didn't think it twice.

Adrien removed the device from her body's mouth and kissed her. Adrien didn't know why, or how the idea came to mind, but it was the only thing he could think about. Her lips were cold, and her skin was pale, but he didn't want to let go. What if it didn't work? What if she-

"Adrien! What on Earth do you think you're doing?!". Adrien was pulled away from Marinette by Nino and Alya, who had just arrived. He didn't say anything, he just kept staring at Marinette.

"Adrien, answer now or-". Some sounds came from the bed. The three teens realized that Marinette was waking up.

The blond smiled at her, Alya carefully hugged her friend and Nino ran out to call the doctor.
