Personality: Monica is what someone would call the embodiment of a potential Manic Pixie Dream Girl. She's the kind of female who won't wait for someone to do something for her, always springing into action without questions or hesitation. And this is definitely either a blessing or a curse in addition to her quirky nature. Because of the following, you can find her performing wild actions for an adrenaline rush or just cause. To add, her attitude has been something to admire and hate as she gets into trouble for her tongue. All in all, Monica is a wild card!

As Solitear, Monica is almost a different person. She's someone who will show genuine concern for human life around her, taking her missions and patrol very seriously as if it were her last. Many of her comrades have stated that she is a person with many leader traits even if she shrugs it off due to her small insecurities. So in a way, Monica is like a coin; One side of her is a wild child waiting to be released to the world, whereas the other is a respectful hero who cares for citizens lives more than her own. Regardless, based on your tolerance and commonalities, you may like or dislike her.

Superpower + Description: Magnetism- In the words of Monica, Magnetism is putting her powers lightly. The actual term is Ferrofluid DNA. Ferrofluid is a type of liquid that can connect with any metal freely, which is also located in Monica's blood. This can make her a human magnet by using her powers to connect or repulse away from metallic and iron matter with ease. When she is using connection, her eyes become light blue. When using repulsion, they become a fluorescent red.

Pros/Strengths: One of Monica's biggest strengths is the ability to find the good in everything. Believe it or not, she's a very optimistic individual who refuses to see the problems in any and everything. This causes her to be very understanding to multiple situations that arise for her along with being very open with her peers. Aside from the following, she's also a scientific genius due to her drive to major in Science.

Cons/Weaknesses: A issue with Monica power wise is that her powers are developed through her blood stream. So if she was to use a ton of blood, she will cease to use her powers momentarily or end up being powerless for the rest of her life. If this were to happen, she would have to be taken back to her home planet for surgery, which is easier said than done when your home is a thousand light years away. A personal flaw of Monica is that her optimism has almost got her killed since she gains tunnel vision by neglecting the problems around her.

Likes: Monica really likes physical activity. If you were to ask her, she would say her favorite class in school is Physical Education because she gets to move around freely. She just enjoys the freedom of being able to see what a person's body is capable of, not to mention, she adores training her powers and herself. So why not do so by walking, running or flying around?! She also likes bunnies, fluorescent colors, indie music, her little brother and sister and making new friends/allies.

Dislikes: Rexplode. Actually? She hates Rex in general. If she sees the guy, there's a good chance she will just punch him square in his face! She just doesn't like how he's so cocky and inconsiderate of those around him, especially Eve. When she heard he cheated on her, she wasted no time to beat him up, causing her teammates to have to hold her back as bad as they could. Which is good! Because if they didn't, he would have been dead. She also doesn't like cigarettes, being lied to, her powers sometimes, her father, techno music, hair dye and dark places.

Backstory: Originally named Marixah, Monica was born on the planet Toirno, a planet that focuses on finding multiple planets that could be used as resting places for their race. Since it was a dying breed, they had sent their newest born to different planets in hopes of reproducing the species once more. Marixah was one of them that was sent to Earth, crash landing in a newly weds garage. Though the family planned to leave her up for adoption, they eventually grew to care about her, raising her as their own daughter and giving her the name Monica.

As Monica grew up, she became infatuated with comic books, which she considered the best way to learn about the planet Earth for her. When she started to develop her own natural powers, she would find the books to be a guide to living and was almost prompted to become a superhero. Through multiple failed attempts and situations gone wrong, the one vigilante that was on the Guardians' watch list became a hero in training who wanted to join them and fight villains together.

Eventually she met the Teen Team and was welcomed with open arms into their faction, where Rex labeled her Solitear after he found out what her powers were. Though she hated the pun, she kept using the name as her hero persona.

Family: Shanon Rogard- Monica's Earth mother. Her and her daughter have a loving and understanding relationship with one another. She is the main reason why she is so compassionate for human life, feeling that if there are people like her, she should protect them no matter what. Unlike her father, Shanon accepted everything about Monica through time, including her sexuality.

Keith Rogard- Monica's Earth father, whom she calls him guardian after a while. Keith and Monica have a questionable relationship. When she was a young girl, she remembered the man treating her as if she was his biological daughter, caring for her every second of the day and making her mean more than life itself. But as she grew up, they grew apart. He started to become more distant and angry with her suddenly after she became Solitear. And it didn't make things better when she revealed to him that he was bisexual.

Honestly, it took Monica a very long time to stand William. When they first met, he almost ruined any chance of them hanging out when he tried to flirt with her, causing her to use her powers in the open for a split second. Luckily, the two of them cleared things up when it was revealed that it was only done as a act to look different to everyone. Now, they are considered best friends! As a matter of fact, he is the only one who knows she's Solitear to this day!

Rivals: Though Monica doesn't like people, she doesn't think she has rivals.

Monica and Eve aren't really friends, but they're not rivals or enemies either. They are just acquittances. They barely talked to one another while on the Teen Team in missions and around school, they only give each other a hey unless they are doing a project together. So what's so special about Eve? Monica wouldn't know. Maybe it's her beautiful grass green eyes. Or her flawless porcelain skin. Or that red mane on her head that sways like fire when she flies... Okay, maybe she was just perfect and she really wanted to date her! Which could happen if she just got the courage to talk to her for once.
