Ryland's p.o.v

I wake up to the sun hitting my face. I opened my eyes and felt something holding on to me. I looked over to see that Rina was cuddling me, then I remembered last night

~flash back~

She yawns, making me yawn. She then rubs her eyes, in a very cute way

Ryland: well...we better get some sleep, we have a long journey ahead of us

Rina: your right

After that we both laid down. I couldn't really sleep, so I looked over to check on Rina. She was fast asleep. I was about to try and go back to sleep myself when I felt something next to me. I looked and saw that it was Rina, she was cuddling me

Ryland: 'what is this that I am feeling? Do...do I have a cruch on Rina? I think...yeah. I do'

~present~

Ryland: 'thats right! I fought that giant demon cat and was bringing Rina back home'

I shook Rina, lightly, awake so we can leave. Her eyes fluttered open, slowly. She looked and saw what she was doing, shooting up and blushing a dark color

Rina: I-I'm sorry

Ryland: what for?

Rina: for holding on to you

Ryland: you're apologizing for cuddling me?

Rina: mhmm

She looked away from me, her blush darkening even more

Ryland: 'I know I just found out that I have a crush on her but I have to know, does she like me the same way that I like her? I have to know' hey Rina

Rina: hmm

Ryland: may I...

Rina's p.o.v

I looked at him confused, I didn't know what he wanted. He started to lean in close to me, I was doing the same

Rina: may you what?

Ryland: I wanna do something with you

Rina: and what might that be?

Ryland: this

Before I could ask what it was Ryland closed the gap between us. I was shocked

Rina: 'he's...he's kissing me. Should I kiss him back? Do I even have feelings for him? I have known him for a long time, my heart races, my face goes red when I'm near him, and I never want to leave his side. I think...I do have feeligns for Ryland!'

Knowing that I have feelings for Ryland I kissed back. We then parted for air

Ryland: does this mean you like me the way I like you?

I nodded my head, it was all I could do. He smiled at me and I smiled back, I was happy. Then I remembered something

Rina: this won't go over well with our dads, you know that right?

Ryland: I don't care what my dad says

He grabs my hands and holds them close to his chest

Ryland: I just want to be with you

I smiled

Rina: and I wanna be with you

He smiled and placed a hand on my cheek. I embraced it, it just felt so right

He then moved his hand to behind my head. We both leaned in towards each other and kissed, again. It was the best thing that has ever happened to me. We broke the kiss and smiled

Ryland: so, I was wondering...will you be my girlfriend?

I thought about it, my dad would hate him

Rina: but our dads hate each other

Ryland: then I guess we'll have to get our dads to like each other

I smiled, he smiled back. This was a great idea

Ryland: come on, lets get you home

I nodded my head as he turned for me to get on his back, which I did. Ryland then ran as fast as he could, to get me home

~time skip~

It was getting dark by the time Ryland got me home. I got off of his back and wrapped an arm around his shoulder, to support myself, and looked at my house

Rina: it's destroyed. Where is my family support to live now?

Just then I hear a voice calling for me. I turned around and saw that it was my parents, I was happy. I looked a little closer and saw Ryland's parents too

When my mom got to me she gave me a big hug, hugging Ryland as well. I looked over towards my dad and saw that my dad was giving Ryland death glares, Ryland's dad was doing the same to me. My mom let go of me and looked at me with a worried look on her face

Kagome: Rina, are you ok?!

Rina: well...my leg is broken, other then that I'm fine

Inuyasha: you did this to her didn't you!

Ryland: what?! No! I went to save her

Inuyasha: what's that support to mean?

Ryland: after that demon attacked the house it took her away. I ran after it to save her. It clawed at my arm, leaving a scratch, but I killed it to save her life

He looked at Ryland suspiciously, I was a little scared. Then my dad give him a big old smile and pats him on the back

Inuyasha: well I'm glad you kept her safe. You're alright kid

Ayame: Ryland I am so proud of you

Koga: great job, thoughs fighting practices are coming in handing aren't they

Ryland: yeah

I looked at my parents, looking a little sad. I wanted to know what we were going to do until we got our house back

Rina: mom...dad, where are we going to live now?

Kagome: I don't know

Ryland: hey dad can they live with us?

Inuyasha: there is no way I am living with a wolf

Kagome: Inuyasha

Koga: yeah I guess so

Ayame kissed his cheek and my dad just grumbled, he didn't want to live with them

I then hopped back on to Ryland's back and he started to walk over to his parents

Inuaysha: excuse me, what do you think you are doing

Kagome: she can't walk Inuyasha

Koga: yeah, let my son at least carry her to the cave

He grumbled again, walking behind them. So we all left to go live with Ryland and his family

~time skip~

Ryland's p.o.v

When we got to the cave it was already dark. We had already eaten, so we went to bed

Koga: you can sleep here

Kagome: thank you Koga

I helped Rina set up her pallet. She had already got her leg bandaged better, Lady Kaede helped her

Rina: goodnight Ryland

Ryland: goodnight Rina

And like that I went off to my room. On my way there my mom stops me, I looked at her

Ayame: I see somebody has a little crush on someone

Ryland: what?! How did you know?!

Ayame: a mom can sniff out romance from a mile away

After that I went into my room and layed down on my bed. I closed my eyes and started to fall asleep
