Part 1
After starting InuYasha again, (I know, it's an obsession :) I decided to try this poem. My heart aches for InuYasha, especially in the early episodes. A few of these lines just came to me, but some I really had to think about. I'm not very well versed in poetry, so let me know what you think. Please review, thanks!

InuYasha's Torment
Guilt resides within my heart, pain that I could not save
The woman I had loved and the life we could have made
Born under her own unique light
She was entrusted with a serious plight
Protect the jewel from all who seek
For their strength to grow and their subordination cease
They condemned the woman who owned my heart
We never knew, she was doomed from the start
From deception, I fell under an eternal sleep,
As fate would have it, she soon followed me.
50 years later, I would revive
But Kikyo would not survive
Shame plagues my every thought
Over the ending that we wrought
She felt the sting of despair
So much that she couldn't hear my prayer
"It wasn't me," I scream,
But her ears are deaf to my pleas
Now another needs my protection
And again, I am hindered by my affection
I wish for her to always be near
But my past sins lead me to fear
That I cannot keep her safe
So, I send her away
And the distance kills us both
But what hurts the most
Is that she will never know
How much I love her.
