------------

Now it was time for training... She had to go train before night came around, Asashi said that they could go out and gather more materials for his Ketix dagger tomorrow, so, there they stood out in the field like before. Sesshomaru being her opponent, while Asashi stood a small distance from them to watch from the side. His orange eyes were glued to Y/N's posture and his arms were crossed. Jaken floated up in the air grumbling like the imp he was, keeping watch from the sky in case some intruder decided to come in.

Y/N had her phone securely on her hip, keeping it hooked and made sure it wasn't loose so she could fight. Her eyes closed, waiting for the music to start playing. With a deep breath, in and out, she grasped the kinetic energy just for a moment and felt her body vibrate slightly.

As soon as the music played, her eyes that turned red shot open, and she disappeared. With no weapons, she had to use her martial arts. Horizontally she spun and flew towards him, making him block with one forearm and feeling air burst past him from her kick. His free hand raced after her and his palm connected with her face, sending her flying backward strongly.

Quickly she flipped, skidding backward to a halt and using the kinetic energy she had a hold of to disappear with decent speed. Arms swinging back and forth, avoiding the poison whips that lashed out at her and performing backflips to avoid them all. About eight to ten backflips while the whip was just barely on her tail. She circled around him closing in very slowly to try and get behind him.

When she managed, she caught him by surprise with a backflip in the air, getting his head between her legs, and did a handstand before chucking him over her frame.

He flew across the field, only to crash into a tree or two and come straight back as if it didn't even affect him. His hands turned green and his golden eyes narrowed, the lordship planned on swiping at her with his claws. When she turned around, just a couple of seconds the scene was in slow motion, showing her side-stepping just in time to avoid an incoming strike with his claws.

The scene picked back up and he spun in place, lifting his leg and kicking her on the side of her head.

This time she didn't go soaring, she withstood the attack despite the light blood that trickled down her head and saw him twirling around with another kick coming. She lifted her one forearm and blocked it, grabbed his ankle, yanked him forward then kicked at his abdomen. Air bursts went off when she kicked him and a faint grunt escaped his lips, of course, she didn't hear it...

Just before he could even stumble from her hit, he dismissed his poison claws and grabbed a lock of her hair. She was about to jump and wrap her legs around his forearm to make him tip over but he yanked her head down onto his thrusting knee. She cried out and felt her nose bleed before feeling him toss her to the side by her hair. She crashed into a giant log nearby and crushed it, making the dirt fly in the air.

A newfound determination filled her red eyes when the dirt cleared. She was laying there clenching her fist on the ground, she didn't notice the small quake that trembled from her sheer focus. Instantly she stood up, spun around with a short battle cry, and with the velocity of her spin, it made a few uprooted trees behind her from their last spar to shoot after Sesshi when she swatted her hand out towards him.

His eyes widened slightly at that and he took out his sword, before chasing after the said trees. She's getting stronger... he mentally noted. He didn't see her race after him since those trees blocked his view. One tree got cut horizontally, the second got cut diagonally, and the third got split in half.

As soon as the third tree split, the scene went into slow motion and showed his eyes widening a bit at the incoming high-kick from Y/N. She screamed out strongly and punted his face in hard with her foot. Sesshi caught himself before he lost his footing and skidded backward while still facing her. (Song ends here \o/ )

"That's enough!" Asashi shouted and appeared between the two. Both she and the lordship stopped in their tracks. Y/N looked like a bloodied mess while Sesshi only had a few scratches; he and Asashi could tell though... That she was indeed getting stronger. As if on cue, she fell backward onto the soft grass and groaned lightly, then her hand lifted to give him a thumbs up. "Y/N... You've grown quite a lot, but you're still not ready to fight the new enemy yet. You have good determination in fighting, your perception has gotten sharper, your physical strength has increased and your durability when getting hit has also done the same. Yet, you still have a while to go before you're ready to fight the future threat... Now...let's return to Obsidian's home so both of you can clean up..." he explained, walked away from the two, and saw Sesshomaru's golden eyes on him. "Thank you, lord Sesshomaru, for helping with her training..." With that, he turned to face Y/N and gave her an approving smirk.

Up in the air, Jaken was still keeping a look-out. He sat in the air holding his staff in the bent part of his elbow and appeared bored as all-out could be. A moment of silence had ensued until something flashed by him, flying downward and knocking him out of the sky. He fell down through the branches and got rendered unconscious after the attacker hit him; he didn't even get to make a peep... The blur was too fast to see who the attacker was. Down below, Asashi, Y/N, and Sesshomaru made their way back by crossing the field to the other side.

One thing, though, made Sesshi halt in his step... The scent of a demon nearby. His backside was in view, letting the other two pass him by and watched them halt in their tracks. "What's wrong?" The halfbreed alien girl questioned, taking notice of his straight stare. Asashi lifted a brow, only to see the lordship grip the hilt of his blade and move his golden eyes to his peripherals. "Helloooo?~," she asked again, stepped closer, and waved a hand in front of his face.

Instantly he caught it, not once glancing down at her. She could tell just by that, he was being serious. Watching enough of Inuyasha in her world, she knew that it was his way of saying stop, a threat is nearby.

"A demon is near...and Jaken hasn't returned from the sky..." Sesshi stated and yanked Y/N closer, making her grunt a bit from the force. Her eyes widened in surprise, but ignored the close quarters and looked around. She couldn't see any demon nearby... He was right though, normally Jaken would've caught up to them by now. She was literally pressed against his chest by the tight grip on her wrist.

Sure, she could step back to get some space, but she knew that if she had...he'd yank her close again. Her teacher rose his guard and had a sharp look on his face while his orange eyes darted from side to side, preparing himself for any incoming strikes that may occur. "Asashi... Go find Jaken..." A quick glance from the lordship shot over at the said man and saw him nod. He disappeared and left the two there alone, not noticing the attacker who sat up in the trees. The demon had strapped the imp up in rope and tied him to a branch high on the tree the person sat on.

Their focus was on Asashi now... The attacker vanished from the tree and reappeared near him in a batch of flowers. It was Kurimi, she had sat down and pretended to pick them while humming a delightful tune. As soon as he saw her, he grew suspicious and cautiously walked closer. "Who're you...?" he asked, only to watch her turn her head to view him and blink innocently.

"Me? Oh, I'm Shishi Suji's aunt! She asked me to get some flowers for her! She wanted some to replace the ones she had in her room, so I thought these looked lovely.~ Judging by your orange eyes and horns, you're Asashi Gota.~ Queen Suji told me about you. I take it, You two are good friends?" A friendly smile formed on her lips and she giggled lightly.

He sighed and nodded, closing his eyes all the while. Just for a moment, his guard had dropped but sensed an attack from behind just as quickly when it did. When he looked around, he almost got put to sleep by her when she appeared behind him. Using two fingers to poke at a specific spot on the back of his neck, he twirled around and caught her hand with a tight squeeze. "Why are you attacking me...Kurimi...?" he asked and gave her a death glare. He knew her from the time when he passed her by to follow after Y/N, but didn't pay a whole lot of attention to her.

"Ouch, not so hard! Don't you know how to treat a lady...? Honestly..." she huffed and stared at his serious orange eyes with a puffed-out cheek. "I just wanted to see how quick your reflexes were, is that so wrong? I knew you were a strong man, but I wanted to see for myself," She smiled, felt his grasp loosen and she slipped her hand out from his. "Why do you seem a bit over the edge?" she asked, tilted her head to one side, and put her hands behind her back.

"A comrade of ours has gone missing... A green imp, have you seen him...?" Asking that, she simply shook her head no and gave a confused feature.

"I'm afraid I haven't... A green imp, hm? Perhaps something caught his eye and went to go see?" She blinked, before sighing and closing her eyes. "Forgive me, I wish I were of better use to you with information. Anyway, I had better continue collecting those flowers! My little Shishi loves these kinds,~" she beamed and giggled.

"Alright... Thank you for your time," With a slight nod of his head, he turned on his heel. What he wasn't expecting, was for her to put a hand on his shoulder and felt a sharp needle-like finger scratch him. His eyes widened and he swiftly whirled around with a kick, landing a hit on the side of her head all the while.

She flew and hit a nearby tree; he held back for one reason, he grew weak. He felt his limbs grow numb and fell over on the ground with a light grunt. "Paralysis...?!" He seemed to have struggled that word out, but he knew something was up. He wasn't expecting her to scratch him though, he didn't know her enough so he didn't expect her to have a paralyzing power.

"Why did you strike at me?! I was just trying to get your attention! Oh dear..." she pretended to appear shocked to find him lying in the grass, immobilized. "I'm sorry, I scratched you! I didn't mean it! Hold on, I'll go get help!" she rose her voice, but since she was behind him, he couldn't see that smirk on her lips.

She disappeared, sneaked her way through the trees, and kept her eyes on her next target. The entire time she had a hold on the flowers she picked. One by one, I must pick them off... So I can get to the half breed... she mentally noted her strategy and stood behind a tree, poking her head out.

"What's taking him so long...? You'd think he'd find Jaken by now," Y/N grumbled and her face was beet red, she could feel the warmth from him radiating like a heater. One of the perks about snuggling up to him at night... Just feeling him that close made her heart race ninety miles an hour.~

"Show yourself!" Sesshi hollered out, snapping Y/N out of her hidden thoughts. When he demanded that, Kurimi came out from behind the tree and had a gleeful smile.

"My, if it isn't lord Sesshomaru! What brings you here out in this field?" she questioned, carrying a handful of flowers with her.

"That is none of your concern..." His eyes squinted at her, as she made her way over. He saw her carrying flowers in one hand, so he assumed she was picking some until a familiar scent came from one of her hands. He recognized her from the time when she was with Shishi, while he followed after Y/N earlier today.

"Sorry, you're right. I was just out looking for some flowers for my little Shishi! She needed some replacements, so she asked me to get her some!~" she giggled and as she got closer, she saw just how close Y/N was to Sesshi; him keeping her close protectively. "We meet again, Y/N!" she beamed and closed her eyes.

"Y-Yeah... Have you seen a small green imp anywhere or a man with orange eyes?" she asked, fully faced the woman but still kept close to Sesshomaru.

"Hm... No, I was picking flowers so I haven't seen anyone around here except you two," she explained, giving a convincing, innocent expression. "Why, have they gone missing? I could help look,~" she gave a friendly grin and stopped just a few feet from them. Suddenly, poison whips lashed out at her and she jumped back, showing a startling facade on her features. "How dare you strike at a helpless wo-" before she could finish, Sesshi interrupted her.

"Your freehand smells of Asashi's and Jaken's blood... You're lying to us," he stated in his monotonous voice and glared daggers at her from the small distance. "What have you done?" he asked.

Kurimi's expression went from innocent to serious and everything fell silent, only allowing the light gusts in the air to brush through and rustle the leaves in the trees, the grass, the nature around them; it was nothing but a suspenseful silence...
