Red piercing eyes intently glaring into another similar pair, only Sesshi's eyes weren't just enraged, they appeared to have a very devastating intent-to-kill gleam. Sesshomaru seemed dead set on be-ridding of Yogu Hanai. Sharp fangs poked out from his gritted teeth that were in view and both his hands were tightly gripped on the hilt of his blade, pushing, forcing his strength against Yogu who did the same.

"Lord Sesshomaru, since you refuse to step aside... You leave me no other choice!" Yogu growled in a low breath. Soon, he too allowed his red eyes to change. They widened, ironically turned golden, and a mustard hue half colored his sclera. Sesshi was too preoccupied with trying to kill him and growling endlessly with fury, to even notice the uncountable amount of spiders that filled the halls and raced towards him from behind Hanai. "Fight fire with fire... Let's see who will be the one, to counteract!" he lifted his voice and watched the lordship jump backward.

The guests were too occupied with the event taking place, that not one sound of their fight could be heard. Inukimi backed up ever so slightly at the view and lifted her hand up near her mouth. "I will inform the Queen, she will have everyone flee from her palace safely...!" She knew better than to interfere with her son's fight, so she did the only other thing she could do. Kimi rushed out of the hall, bolted past the crowd of people, and made her way to Queen Suji.

The very Queen herself conversed among her two sons, who actually had the company of Kagome and Inuyasha to their sides. They all chatted, laughed a couple of times aside from the all-so-serious Inuyasha who acted like he was on guard duty... "Truly fascinating.~ Inuyasha, the half breed demon has married a human? How is that going for you both?" The Queen questioned the couple as her sons turned to face them.

"He has some things that need...fixing..." Kagome had flat lines for eyes and a sweatdrop, as she looked at her hubby from the corner of her eyes. "But, he takes good care of me and I to him. I mean, it's not like we bicker a lot, eheheh,~" Kagome nervously laughed with closed eyes and a twitching smile, clearly fibbing to avoid drama. They argue a lot but that didn't mean they hated or didn't love each other.

"I see..." Suji's eyes glinted with mischief the moment Kagome said that and narrowed them, with a curled smirk forming. "Well, aside from that; I do hope you're enjoying the ball," With closed eyes, she grinned, giving off a playful expression that was very similar to Obsidian's.

"Queen Suji, Princess Suji's hired bodyguard is fighting with my son! Everyone must hurry to safety by all means!" Inukimi hollered out and made it to the small conversing group. Instantly, Suji's eyes squinted seriously and her lips tightened into a frown. She nodded to her friend Kimi and gestured for her sons to do exactly that.

"My sons,=! Evacuate everyone in a civilized manner while I announce the situation...!" Suji shouted with a swat of her hand out to the side and rushed to the center. Onyx and Obi both bolted towards the exits whilst Kagome and her half breed husband stood in confusion. Asashi lifted a brow and rose from his seat, viewing the two who ran towards the hall.

Without a second thought though, Kagome dashed towards the hallway with Inuyasha on hot pursuit. "Inuyasha!" she yelled out, gesturing for him to hurry and catch up without even looking behind to view him.

"Wait, Kagome, what do you think you're doing?!" The half breed hollered with irritation, grumbled, and caught up to her. He stopped in his tracks when he saw Sesshomaru's furious face and the hall blanketed with spiders on the ceiling, floor, and both walls. He practically cringed at the sight... "WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING, SESSHOMARU?!" he yelled, trying to gain his brother's attention but yet failed.

"Y/N L/N had been kidnapped by Rei Nago and seeing that the hired bodyguard is defending him, it is likely that he is working with him," Kimi spoke from behind them, and when they both turned to face her, her expression was that of a furious mother who seemed as though someone kidnapped her own child and wanted so terribly to skewer the culprit.

"Kidnapped?!" Kagome and Inuyasha exclaimed in unison until the said human wife glanced over at her husband. "Inuyasha, you need to do something! If I knew this was going to happen, I would've brought my bow and arrows!" she rose her voice in panic and had pleading eyes linger on his own.

"Alright, fine!" As angry as could be, Inuyasha bolted towards his brother and stiffened his fingers to prepare a strike with his claws. He was just glad he brought his Tensaiga, in which he swiftly yanked off his backside and swiped his claws across the many spiders crawling. "GO GET Y/N, I'LL TAKE CARE OF THIS FRAUD, SESSHOMARU!" He rose his voice and growled while Inukimi stood next to Kagome securely. Her being married made her somewhat like family to her, regardless. Being married to Inuyasha, the second son of her first mate whom she still loved deeply, felt the need to care for Inuyasha's lover.

Asashi, who ran out of the palace with the guests and overheard Queen Suji announce a fight that was taking place and someone kidnapped a young woman, he scowled then disappeared within a blink of an eye. It seems he decided to use his kinetic ability to try and find the culprit who started this mess... He had a feeling that it was Rei Nago... Who else would it be?

The Time Corpse mentioned to them that they have to be very wary of him; so thus, he began to hunt down the fool. With Sesshomaru being infuriated like he is, he could only assume by a young woman, that it was Y/N who got kidnapped... It angered him greatly that someone dared to kidnap his pupil. Rin and Jaken were forced to remain outside of the palace and for the imp to keep her safe while among the crowd of guests.

(A shining moment for Sesshomaru!)

As if on cue, Sesshomaru's red eyes blinked in recognition and quickly ran the other way down the hall with blinding speed. His half breed brother taking his place to take down that traitor, gave him an opportunity to go save Y/N. Y/N! He yelled in his mind and had still yet, his gritted teeth in view. As if it were instinctive to call her that, he didn't notice it due to the fear of her being harmed.

He couldn't understand why he felt the same feeling toward her, as he felt towards Rin... Was he finally on the path of understanding? Why or how his father fell in love with a human? Though she was only half Ketix, a human was a human no less. Normally he would spit on half-breeds like he used to with his little brother.

Running at high, intense speed, clothing and hair nearly brushing backward straight without wavering from his pace, he sliced away a row of spiders that got in his way easily with his claws.

He ran through the halls and busted through the wall that led out into a field of flowers that were centered in the middle. A garden he had run into, flowing purple flowers that wavered under the sunset and a Japanese feudal spring in the middle. He ignored it, raced through the flowers, hoped over the spring, and saw Rei Nago running at full sprint on the other side.

His eyes widened, even more, teeth gritted more into view with his fangs protruding dangerously. Rei felt the presence behind him and gasped in fear, then pushed himself further to run.

Sesshi hopped over the roof on the other side, met Rei just outside of it, spun horizontally in mid-air, and swung out his hand to swat his poison whips out. Those poison whips cut through the ground, ripped up chunks of earth, and sliced the head off of Rei Nago... As if on cue, Rei's body warped and became transparent, appearing to be made of water and dispersing in thin air.

"Hahaha, lord Sesshomaru... Did you honestly believe that I was a half breed without any battle experience?!" Rei Nago exclaimed, making Sesshi turn to face the demonic elven male with his features unchanged. Through the red wooden beams that held up the hallway, he saw Rei rising up from several spots in the spring. Appearing made of water with the replicas of Y/N in his hold. They were water clones and those very water clones smirked at the lordship.

Their hair whipped around in the air, all shot out, and the aquatic hair strands sliced through the very wooden beams, tearing apart the entire side of the Queen's palace.

Heavy crushing sounds emitted when those aquatic hair strands broke the ground and made chunks of the surface to rise. With all the flying debris, Sesshomaru shielded himself with his forearm and squinted his red, infuriated eyes. Quickly he bolted, sliding across the slippery ground that got masked by water and sliced away at all of the incoming whipping hair strands. The moment when he got up to the clones, he swiped his sword, cut off all of their heads, and made them all disperse into a large splash.

Behind some beams to the side where the palace hasn't been shattered, Rei, the original, stood with his red glistening eyes peering over his shoulder at him. Y/N still unconscious in his arms, he ran for it after he made more clones with an inaudible incantation to form them. He planned on keeping the lordship distracted for as long as he could... (Song ends here, I hope you liked it!)

After everyone finally got out of the palace, Obsidian flew out of the building and sniffed around for Sesshomaru, leaving Inuyasha to Hanai and Onyx to protect the guests outside. He listened in, only to find his old partner in a crumbled down garden where one side of the palace was destroyed. Instantly he flew down, landing right next to his old friend and seeing clone after clone dispersing back into the water in the spring. "Need some assistance?~" he smirked, stiffened his clawed fingers, and parted his lips just barely. Not one answer did he receive, only snarling and pure rage became evident on the dog demon's face.

"I'll take care of these continuous spawning clones..." he felt it. He also smelled that Y/N's scent was a bit further away and Sesshomaru was too blinded by rage to even notice it. As if on cue, the lordship obliged and raced after Rei Nago in a blink of an eye. That shocked the batman, he never saw his partner act in such a way, at least...not in a long time. His lips parted into another open smirk, his chuckles grew dark, shade veiled over his closed eyes and his wings unfolded... He was ready to tear apart the clones of the original who stole his love interest. Despite rivaling against the lordship, he much preferred to take over the fight and let him give chase instead. "Now, shall we begin?~ Hmhmhmhm...~" he chuckled darkly once more, poked out fangs to try and provoke the clones.
