(This was originally on fanfiction.net) A/N: Ever since I was forced to deactivate my Quotev account after taking my stories down, I felt so glum about putting this up. It's been two years now xD! Anyway, my sister said she was interested in this story so it gave me a bit of a push to put this backup. Don't worry, it's revised and complete xD.
(This story has been fully transferred!)
Ages 17-20+! Sorry, age specification is important, since adult content is in this story! No one ever makes inhuman protagonists in an Inuyasha story unless they're an elf, demon, or saint.
To add, I'm the type to say Choose your own clothes or Pick your clothes, around those lines. It's a hassle to say, T/C, B/C, S/C, A/C. Meaning: Top Choice, Bottom Choice, Shoe Choice, and Accessory Choice. Why limit the outfits to that or however you do it when you can just say pick your clothing? o.o That way you can wear anything you want :D!
I wanted something a bit different. This does not follow the storyline of Inuyasha, but I have plans for this and it includes Sesshomaru too! So, I hope you like this and don't be afraid to comment if you want, I won't bite.~ :F
The image used in this chapter is just an example of Y/N's power and the color of the eyes when they change. You'll see what I mean later on.~ That's the gun in her hand in the picture and the solar flare in her hand, so yes. You don't have to use her image as your own it's just something to help you understand \o/
-Don't hate me T-T
------------
In modern times, in the year 2020, life has advanced in technology. Great wars, rebellions, protests, so much pain, and horrors had surfaced over the years. Throughout time from the feudal era to the modern life of the present, life had decided to take a small turn. There was once a creature, or who was deemed to be a mere human that had descended upon earth thousands of years ago from space. In this time and era, those kinds of creatures would be considered aliens or...better word, extraterrestrials.
The feudal life of Japan was where the first alien had landed and laid low among the people of the planet, so as to not stir suspicion and raise a panic. This alien had studied the humans throughout life's evolution and continued to spread its genetics through procreation, in other words crossbreeding with a human. As their children grew, kept the fact that they were different and remained hidden, they could never truly be found unless they were in danger. They're known for their strength and speed, with the ability to breathe in space.
However, they are also known to enjoy forests seeing that it hides them well within the branches and leaves. Some would say they would look like elves from fairy tales, others would claim them to be demons without horns or non-short goblins. These aliens come in a variety of colors and shape much like humans but, there is one particular part that makes them distinct among the human race. Their eyes would glow so beautifully through the dark or when light met them.
Their eye colors vary but they are far more different than any human eye; yes, they had pupils like all the others but their irises are a little bigger like an elf. These aliens used to have pointy ears, different colored skin, and the like; though with crossbreeding through the centuries, they lost them.
So now, here in the deep forest during modern times of 2020, was a young woman up in the trees. Homes were nearby but no one knew of her whereabouts or her secrets. Being a professional at parkour, the said girl was seen zipping through the leaves and using the branches as leverage; her hand grasped a branch, then let it go. Next, she glided past other trees and stiffly stuck her legs out in front of her, with one arm up in the air. Her hair flowed behind her from the acceleration and a content face was evident. Oh how she loved the feel of wind brushing against her, it was soothing.
As soon as she grasped another branch above her head, she swung herself higher into the air using her legs to push her body and did a back-flip in midair. Not long did she catch herself; her hands gripped onto a lower branch that was closer to the ground and broke her fall a little. With little effort she landed on her two feet, now clamping her hands on her hips and sighing out of contentment. "That was a nice run!" Y/N exclaimed and lifted her face towards the barely visible clouds; panting from the exercise the parkour had given her.
Her e/c eyes stared at the softly swaying trees far above her head, listening to the gentle winds and rustles of leaves. "Well, time to head home. It's gonna be afternoon soon and I'm starving!" She happily cheered with a fist pumped into the air and giggled, as she walked her way back towards home.
This was Y/N, she loved to do parkour and it was her biggest hobby. From all of the parkour growing up, it gave her a healthy and fit body. Her gorgeous inhuman eyes glistened when the beams from the sun hit them, resulting in her shielding herself from it with her hand. Y/N wore (Pick your clothes! :D) and it suited her perfectly, drawing out her personality well with its color. Birds chirped throughout the environment and she smiled at that. "I suppose a good jog wouldn't hurt since it's so early and I can practically walk still." said the girl. With that, she jogged on her way home.
In her peripherals, something caught her attention. Some sort of pure white ghost who held a stopwatch in one hand was spotted not that far from her. It was a creepy little girl with no eyes and only her eye sockets were visible. Long black hair that blended in with the shadows among the trees, her pure white gown that only seemed transparent around her feet, and a dead look to her body. Y/N skidded to a halt and froze in place, gasping in shock and fear at the sight. "I... I think I'll just..." Her stuttering breath escaped her lips and she gradually reached into her pocket, grabbing her headset and (pick your phone brand! xD). "Listen...t-to music," After she said that, she backed away slowly and stuck the earbuds in her ears.
Y/N continued to jog off and ignore what she just saw; the music she chose gave a pleasant feel to her, it eased the fear and shock she felt. What she didn't know, was that the trees had started changing color.
All around her the trees grew taller, the grass started to change and the environment began to distort. Everything was changing, this caused her to stop in mid-jog and take one earbud out, gawking at everything that wavered through the distortion and changed looks. Her mouth drooped open at the sight, even more so when it was done. Now, everything looked different. So different, it felt like she wasn't even breathing the same air anymore.
"Where-- What...happened?" Y/N's low-mumbled question remained unanswered. To the side, she looked, viewing the tall tree and its branches. Her brows knitted with worry and the headset's cords got hung around her neck after she took the buds out. Up the base and latching on to branches, she climbed her way up with professional movements. Using one leg to push herself off each branch upwards and using her hand a few times to keep herself from falling, when there was no other branch to use for support. Eventually, she reached the top and when she did, she gasped at the sight.
Being at the top allowed her a better view of things, a vast lush green forest was all around her. She never saw something so beautiful in her life. Did I take a wrong turn...? Did I eat mushrooms or something before I went for a parkour run? In her head she asked, gawking at the lovely forest in her line of sight. Mom, Dad... I don't think you guys ever told me about forests that change locations... Pft, magical forests, fairies, mermaids, are all myths so I bet I just took a wrong turn somewhere. A smile graced her lips and felt the wind gently brush through her hair.
A/N: I hope you enjoyed this chapter!~ Don't forget to leave a comment, I'm always happy to hear from my readers! \o/
