Are you interested in joining the Literary Lounge Discord server but not sure what (or rather, whom) we have to offer? Would you like to know which authors are part of our community and where to find them? Are you confused about who is who or who wrote what? Or are you just looking for something new to read?

We'll answer all your questions here!

Each chapter of this book will introduce a different author, what kind of books they write, which books they'd like you to read, and where to find them. We have authors from all over the world, and they offer a huge range of genres, including but not limited to LGBTQ fiction, romance, fantasy, paranormal fantasy, science fiction, action, adventure, thriller, mystery, historical fiction, horror, poetry, and general fiction.

All the links to their social media and books will be in the comments, so you won't have to remember any usernames or book titles.

If you haven't joined the server yet or if you haven't grabbed the author's role yet, we highly recommend doing so. You'll get access to their very own reading corner and you can chat with them about their wonderful stories! You will also be tagged when they have an update for you and sometimes you will even get access to early or exclusive content.

(If you need help getting access to certain roles or channels, don't be afraid to ask for it in the #help_and_suggestions channel. We are more than happy to help you find your way.)

Note: Not all the authors in the Literary Lounge have written or will write an intro. This can be for personal reasons or because they simply haven't gotten around to it. We're hoping to make this list as comprehensive as possible, but at the end of the day, the best place to find the authors is in the server itself.  You are always welcome to have a look at all the reading corners, check out the channel descriptions or pinned messages, and start a conversation with an author to ask what they've been working on lately. They love chatting! Some authors may be a bit shy and won't share things without being asked, but they will definitely reply if you hop into their reading corner to ask a question or just to say hi!

Would you like to suggest an author?

We would love to invite them, but we've found that authors don't tend to stick around if the server doesn't know them or if they can't commit to a reading corner because of time restraints or a lack of interest. You may introduce authors to the server and try to make them feel welcome, but it's still their choice in the end. You may also share their Wattpad profile with us so we can give them a follow.
