Taehyung watches him with a wide grin on his plump lips, staring at the way Jeongguk moves his wide eyes around the small cafe while sipping his drink. It's cute how his eyes tend to look like they double in size while he drinks anything in general, but the cute hum that follows it just reaches the peak of his overall cuteness without even trying.

The bruises on his face is nearly fading, but the obvious makeup is hiding them well, but Taehyung looks behind that and to the way he's dressed up; Hair combed down to cover his forehead, round glasses with not a piercing in sight to then trail to his clothing. A regular button up shirt with a green sweater vest and dressed pants, almost as though he's about to attend a church service rather than classes.

He looks so...... Small and just innocent to the world around him.

And the fact that he's not talking just resembles a shy small child rather than a teenager.

So adorable and Taehyung is growing fonder by the second.

"Wow Busan is pretty far from Seoul," Taehyung chuckles as he reads what Jeongguk typed in his phone, their form of communication, "So when you turned seven, you just moved here?"

Jeongguks nods.

"And do you like it?"

It's almost as if the life was suddenly sucked out of him because his shoulders slouched, now looking at his drink with a small pout on his lips.

Instantly Taehyung panicked, shaking his head and even his hands.

"Never mind I asked that," Taehyung instantly dismisses it, meeting Jeongguk's gaze and instantly relaxing when the other perks a small smile.

But that's not enough.

Taehyung wants Jeongguk to feel comfortable, so be decided to go around this Jeongguk's way.

"Can you teach me something's in sign language?" He asks excitedly, sitting up straight, "This clearly won't be the last time we'll hang out so I would love to be able to communicate in a more comfortable way for you."

That was all Taehyung had to say to leave Jeongguk smiling throughout the whole time there, while teaching Taehyung what he was curious in learning.

All the way until Taehyung's alarm on his phone goes off that signals that Minho will be out of practice soon, so unfortunately their hang out was cut short.

But the promise a next time for sure was present.

Just as they were walking out of the cafe, they suddenly bump into a familiar person.

Well familiar for Jeongguk.

His once blonde hair is now black, still carrying that intimidating aura around him as he was about to step inside the cafe. But the second his eyes met Jeongguk, he stops in his place and even offers a small smile.

Anyone could tell he's trying hard for it because clearly he's not the smiling type.

"Hi, how are you doing?"

Jeongguk instantly felt his cheeks heating up by the attention, just about to sign with his hands but remembers that Jimin probably doesn't know sign language.

So he shakily takes out his phone as types what he wants to say and shows it to him, his hand trembling so hard as he recalls Yeosang's words in his head to be careful.

Yet something about Jimin doesn't at all seem dangerous, if anything he probably has the filter for any occasion upon meeting people.

Like for instance now, he's being calm and friendly, and it's oozing out of him this tranquility that even made Jeongguk feel calm to this.

"Well I'm glad you're good," Jimin says after reading the message, then realizing Taehyung is there and his face tended up, giving him a small nod.

Taehyung didn't say anything as he sips his drink, but he did offer a shy smile with cheeks bright pink to the other male.

He's seen him around a few times because of Minho since Lucas is dating one of Jimin'a friends. However they never spoke at all, their energy is just way too far apart.

The complete polar opposites from each other.

Jimin then looks back at Jeongguk and offers another smile, "Well I'm just head inside, be careful kid, well both of you I guess."

And so he walks past them and inside the cafe, leaving Jeongguk dumbfound while Taehyung only drags him to the car since Minho is about to come out of practice and they're a eight minute drive away.

Alright that last group chat message had my heart in a puddle. It was just so cute!!
