Senri's Decision
"What the fuck did you do to her?!"
March shouted at Rika (A/N: I changed Liz's name to Rika because I play Mystic Messenger and she hurt my baby Ray) as Bex and Riki rushed over to me and helped me up. I looked up at them and saw a mixture of fury and anguish in their eyes as they led me away from Rika,
"What? She's just some bi-"
Before Rika could finish her sentence Senri stalked over to her and grabbed the back of her head, pulling her close and whispering something to her that made her eyes widen in fear. I averted my gaze and looked over to Jackson and March, but they were discussing something quietly. Jackson had an unusually stoic expression while March seethed silently. Bex pulled me closer to him while Riki retrieved my fallen book bag,
"We're taking you home."
Bex whispered to me. His voice was soft and comforting as he and RIki led me out of the bathroom. The halls were practically deserted so we were able to exit the school without any problems. I just wanted to put as much distance between Rika and myself as humanly possible. I rode in the car with Bex while Riki took his motorcycle home. I looked out the window as we drove in silence before I felt Bex reach over and take my hand in his gently. I looked over at him and saw him glaring at the road as we drove. I knew he was trying to comfort me and I smiled, wincing slightly at the pain in my lip,
"Thank you for coming for me."
I said softly, prompting him to squeeze my hand slightly as a faint smile made it's way on his lips,
"When I saw the text from you, I was beyond scared. When we sat down RIki mentioned that Rika might have had it out for you, but I never thought she'd do something like this. She's been after us since our freshman year. Jackson and I were polite, but March, Riki, and Senri weren't. Riki ignored her and the other two were more insulting and condescending when she'd come around. When she saw you with Riki this morning that's what pissed her off. I'm so sorry (Y/N) I knew I should've waited for you outside--"
"Bex."
I said calmly, cutting the raven haired boy off as I responded,
"What Rika did isn't your fault. You guys had no way of knowing what she was gonna do. I'm just glad that you guys got my text and came to find me. I was worried that you might not have checked your phone and you wouldn't come."
I felt his grip on my hand tighten at my last sentence as we came to a stop light. I turned to look at him and saw his icy eyes burning holes into mine,
"(Y/N), if you are ever in trouble or pain or you don't feel safe I want you to know that we will always come for you. I will always come for you. It doesn't matter how far away you are or what's happening around us, we will never let anyone hurt you."
Bex said, his voice deadly serious as he spoke. I put my hand over his,
"That's very sweet Bex and it means a lot to me, but you don't need to worry. I'll be okay."
I said gently, hoping he'll calm down a bit. He seemed to regain his composure, smiling at me as the light turned green and he continued driving. Something about what he said made me uneasy, however. It almost sounded threatening. I know it wasn't a threat to me, but that didn't exactly make me feel better. I decided to ask him something else,
"What about the others? What're they gonna do? Senri looked beyond pissed."
I commented absently as I looked out the window. Bex hesitated for a moment before responding,
"Well, odds are he's bitching Rika and her girls out right now. Senri can be extremely intimidating and threatening when he wants to be. He hates Rika as it is so this probably made him snap. You wouldn't know this but when Senri is angry and he finally releases all the emotions he's internalized, he's one scary bastard."
Bex explained as we pulled into the driveway where Riki was waiting for us. When Bex shut the car off Riki came over and opened my door for me,
"Come on, lets get you inside and take care of you."
He said, holding me against his chest as he led me inside. We made our way to the couch while Bex went to grab the first aid kit from the bathroom,
"I'm so sorry (Y/N)."
Riki whispered softly to me as he looked at me, frowning in pain when he saw the cut on my cheek. I reached forward and placed my hand on his shoulder,
"You and the others saved me and I'm okay now. That's all that matters."
I whispered back. Don't get me wrong, I'm no damsel in distress, but in that situation I definitely needed help. Riki smiled slightly at me as tears formed in his eyes,
"I just wish I could've protected you so this wouldn't have happened. I feel like it's my fault. I saw her glaring at you this morning."
He said quietly, making me frown,
"Don't beat yourself up. No one knew this would happen. You guys can't blame yourself for this. If you guys wanna make it up to me then take care of me and help me recover."
I said as Bex came into the room,
"Alright, I'm gonna stop the bleeding on your lip and clean up the cut on your face. Did she do anything else?"
Bex asked as he sat down next to me. I nodded,
"Yeah she got me on the ground and kicked me in the stomach. It hurt, but I don't think there's any internal bleeding. I'll just be bruised up."
I explained, not missing how their eyes darkened when I told them what she did. Bex applied rubbing alcohol to a cotton ball and dabbed my lip,
"Shit."
I hissed in pain as his did it, making him chuckle,
"Sorry."
"Doubt it."
I snapped back sarcastically as I glanced over at Riki. He was sitting on the ground in front of me and staring at his phone intently,
"Everything okay?"
I asked, causing him to snap his head up,
"Oh, um, yeah. Everything's fine."
He said as he sent me a sweet smile before looking back to him phone. I figured he was texting the guys but decided to leave him be. Once Bex finished cleaning my lip and the cut on my cheek he pulled out a bandage and put it over the cut Rika left,
"It wasn't too deep but you should keep something over it so it won't get infected."
He explained to me. I nodded in response,
"Alright. Thanks for bringing me home, guys. I'm sorry you have to skip class because of all this."
I said apologetically. Bex smiled and waved off my apology,
"Don't apologize. You needed help and we helped you. Just stay home and relax. I'm sure Senri is gonna want to talk with you about all of this when he gets home."
Bex shot a glance at Riki, who nodded in confirmation,
"Yeah he wants to talk to you. He's pretty upset, but remember we just want to keep you safe."
I raised an eyebrow at him,
"What's that supposed to mean? I'm safe. Rika and Naomi aside I'm fine."
I asked, not seeing what he was getting at. Riki looked down,
"We're all worried about you. Just...please don't get mad when you talk with Senri."
He said quietly. I shrugged,
"If he doesn't piss me off then I won't get mad."
I said as I stood up,
"I'm hungry."
I announced as I went into the kitchen to look for food, Bex and Riki trailing behind me as I searched.
~~~~~~~~~(Time Skip brought to you by March's dancing)~~~~~~~~~~~
I had been sitting on the couch with Riki and Bex for the remainder of the day watching tv. They both seemed on edge but I didn't want to ask them about it. When the others came home Jackson ran up to me and gave me a big hug, making me wince as he pressed against my bruised torso,
"(Y/N) are you okay? Does anything hurt? How can I help?"
He fired off a bunch of questions, but before I could answer March yanked him off of me,
"Idiot! You were hurting her."
He snapped at the blue haired teen, causing him to frown,
"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to hurt you..."
He trailed off sadly. I smiled at him,
"It's okay. I'm just sore is all."
I turned to Senri,
"So what is it you want to talk to me about?"
I asked as everyone sat down on the couch. Senri looked at me, his hard gaze softening slightly as we made eye contact,
"I'll get right to the point. In light of recent events I've decided it isn't safe for you to leave the house. You'll be staying inside at all times effective immediately."
He said casually, as if it was the most natural thing in the world to put someone under house arrest like this. I blinked at him for a few moments before speaking,
"Run that by me again. You want to put me on house arrest?!"
I shouted in anger. What the hell was his problem? He can't just do that. Senri sighed,
"Look at everything that's happened. Rika attacked you and Naomi kidnapped you and tortured you. It would be safer for you if you stayed inside and let us take care of you."
He explained in that condescending tone you'd use for a little kid. I felt my eye twitching in irritation,
"Look, I'm grateful that you guys helped out and saved me from Naomi and Rika but house arrest is a bit extreme. Why would you ever think I would agree to this?"
I asked sharply as the sandy haired honor student chuckled at my response,
"I'm not asking you to agree. I'm telling you that this is what's going to happen in order to keep you safe and protect you. I'm afraid you don't have a say in this."
His tone remained condescending as he looked at me with a cool gaze. I rolled my eyes,
"So what's the plan if I don't want to stay?"
I shot back, making him smile in amusement,
"Where will you go? You don't have a job and you have no place to live."
"So? I'll figure it out."
I said as I stood up and made my way to the door. I knew where Hiro lived so I figured I could tell him what's going on and he'd let me stay until I could figure out what to do. Just as I was about to grab the door handle, I felt a hand grab my arm and an arm wrap around my waist. I was pulled away from the door and brought back into the living room,
"What the hell? Put me down!"
I yelled at whoever was carrying me,
"Don't make this harder than it has to be. Your antics are getting tiresome."
I heard Senri say as a sigh escaped his lips. I flipped him off as I looked at everyone else,
"Are you guys seriously okay with this? You're just gonna let him keep me a prisoner here?"
I snapped angrily at them. Jackson was the first to respond,
"Yeah. You're everything to us and we want to keep you safe. We want to protect you from the pain and the suffering of the world. We don't want anything to hurt you ever again and the only way to make sure that never happens is to keep you here where you'll be safe and protected."
I scoffed at Jackson's response,
"Safe? Safe?! Dude you lied to me about having an alcohol problem because Senri told you to! How can I feel safe around people who I can't even trust to be honest with me? I'm sure he's told the rest of you to lie about things so I'd be more willing to stay. How am I supposed to believe any of you?"
I shot back, causing a heavy silence to settle over the room. I sighed and stood up before making my way to the stairs. None of them tried to stop me as I went into my room and locked the door. I was furious,
"Who the hell do they think they are? "
I grumbled to myself as I looked for my car keys. It wasn't long before I realized that they weren't in my room. I thought back to the last time I had them and sighed,
That's right. I dropped them when Ryan grabbed me.
I sighed again and flopped down on the bed, trying to think of a different plan. As the gears turned in my head a plan started to form. I knew they could keep me here if they really wanted to and that even if I left they could just bring me right back. I thought back to the look on Senri's face downstairs when I went against him. He wasn't angry at all like I would've expected. As a matter of fact, he was almost amused with my reaction; like this was all a game to him,
"But maybe it is..."
I whispered to myself as the realization hit me. This is all a game to him just like it was the other night. He's trying to manipulate me just like he did when I asked him why he made Jackson lie. I've seen the way the others look at him. Senri has them under his control and they'd do whatever he tells them,
"I won't give in so easily."
I whispered to myself as I stared up at the ceiling, a plan forming in my mind.
