Aubrey jerks up, shakily glaring at where the words came from.

More like 𝐰𝐡𝐨 the words came from.

It was hard to see due to the haziness, but she could just make it out enough for her stomach to drop to the ground.

Ellie was now kissing Basil on the lips.

Basil looked shocked and horrified at first, then...

No fucking way...

Her thoughts slurred,

is he...?

"mhm...~"

Oh my god.

His eyes were closed now, and along with hers, their tongues were making out aggressively while they both groaned in pleasure between kisses.

No matter how much she screamed in her head to save him, she couldn't stand or even crawl to have a chance.

"n... no..." She holds up her hand, in a desperate attempt to stop Basil, looking around to see her friends.

Hero and Kel were both bleeding profusely and unconscious.

Sunny was crying, his sobs getting muffled out by Omori's red hands. He was trying to kick and pull his way out, but the grip was too strong.

She glances back at the two siblings, her vision getting ever so blurry as she feels her heart beat out of her chest.

  I . . . c o u l d n t s a v e h i m . . .

  Is her last thought before everything goes black, her final sight being both Ellie and Basil being engulfed in the Somethings.

    Basil slowly flickers his eyes open.

    Where... am I?

Non-recognizable yet painfully familiar trees surround him, and a horrible rotting sent wafts in the air. The c a t.

   𝐒𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐨𝐧𝐞 is holding his hand.

   It's... %$&@£?

His eyes drag up to her distorted figure.

Her wide grin is terrifying, yet somehow comforting.

"Do you finally remember what happened that day?" E l l i e spoke softly, gripping his hand tighter as she pulled him along in the forest.

Basil opened his mouth to speak, yet is unable to.

Instead, he just follows along with her, until he can hear ugly cries from ahead.

His cries, from years ago.

Slumped against a tree and pinned down, he screams at her to stop.

"STOP...! IT H U R T S!!!"

Basil finches, listening to the gut wrenching wails as she forces herself onto him.

"Wanna start from the beginning?" She interrupts the sight, stepping in front of their younger selves.

Basil blinks once more, seeing another memory in front of him.

   ~

It's him and his older sister, making flower crowns in their secret hiding spot behind the playground.

The water reflects the evening sun, setting a gentle breeze that sways the flowers back and forth.

It's... so peaceful...

Suddenly, her younger self speaks,

"I want to play a game with you, if that's okay."

   Of course, Basil says yes to this, eagerly even.

   She stands up, walking over to Basil and gently setting a hand on his legs.

   Right... this was the first time she...

   Slowly moving her hand upwards, she caresses the lining of his thigh.

   "What are you doing?" He asked in confusion, but probably in more anticipation too.

   "I love you, Basil." Ellie finally reaches his small member, rubbing it.

   "That... feels weird." Even more lost, the sensation he feels makes his body all tingly.

   "Just wait." She says in a teasing tone, going up and down faster.

  There's... nothing I can do.... is there?

  "E... Ellie..." Not knowing what's even going on, he just flinches with each stroke, "... I... It feels weird...!"

   She chuckles, "Silly, it's supposed to feel like tha-"

   Ellie gets interrupted when Basil bites down on his lip, groaning softly.

   "Aww... you're so cute..." She bends down and licks the substance off, pulling his pants to the side.

   There... isn't anything I can do.

   I can't move.

   I can only watch.

   ~

   An older sister's voice snaps him back from the sight, stepping in front once more, "You see, Basil? This is what you wanted all along.

   Attention. Hope. Affection.

   Love."

   Basil lifts his eyes up at her, who has on a manic smile.

   "You want this. Y o u e n j o y e d t h i s ."

   "I... I did?" He finally is able to talk, stuttering as the environment around him changes once more.

   "I can show you."

   ~

   Sunny and Kel.

   Both of them. Standing before him.

   A feminine voice echos around him then,

   "You see these two? You love them... correct?"

   He nods.

   "But... y o u c a n t h a v e t h e m.

   You'll never be able to have them.

   Sunny moved, and Kel isn't into romance.

   I wonder... does that just make you want them more...?"

   Basil looks down at his feet, embarrassed and shameful, "... yes."

   Sunny and Kel turn around and start to walk away, making Basil gasp, "w... WAIT!!!"

   He holds his arms out, but they disappear before his eyes.

   "You want them... so bad... don't you?"

   "y... YES..!!" Basil yells out with all his might, feeling tears trickle down his cheeks.

  Do it.

   "Huh?"

   It wasn't his sisters voice, it was... his o w n.

   Do it.

   "Wha..." He glares back down at his feet, seeing Kel and Sunny on the ground in front of him, both staring at him with horrified eyes.

DO IT.

Basil just stares.

they look so... helpless...

Her voice only adds more fuel to the fire,

"Do it, Basil."

A/n: do I sob while writing chapters? Yes. Is this probably the worst chapter in this entire thing so far? Probably.

Do I love ending y'all on cliffhangers? ABSOLUTELY.
