Chapter 1: Sunny

Sunny stares outside the window curiously, watching the cars go by, squinting at the lights that flicker from the corner of his vision, to the sun setting slowly, inching ever so close to the horizon.

The warm and humid breeze hits his face, gently swaying his hair back and forth.

The desk is just hard enough to make it uncomfortable. He fiddles with his fingers as he rolls around, trying to find a comfortable position that wouldn't numb his body.

As he tosses and turns his vision becomes more and more hazy till all he can see are the tips of his fingers. He try's to wake himself up, but his whole body goes limp. I can't breathe. He thinks.

Then suddenly, his vision goes dark.

When he wakes up, the first thing he sees  is.. white? His whole vision is white. Wha....oh. Oh no. He slowly start realizing his surroundings, and he finally have the courage to sit himself up.

A quiet but soft tone of piano music plays in the background. Such a familiar tone.... He couldn't believe it. He looks around, an empty white void surrounds him. He pinches his arm... nothing. Shit. Shitshitshit!! Why am I back here again?!? He clasps his head in his hands, trying to stay calm.

He try's to breathe, but his heart beats out of his chest. Finally, after what seems like ages, he  finally had the strength to stand up. He looks around, nothing. Where do I go..? He starts walking in a random directions, trying to find a way out.

It seems like forever, but he finally stumbles upon a arrangement of items, along with a glowing, black lightbulb. He looks at the objects scattered around the area. There is a computer, and sketchbook, a tissue box, and a... cat? Is that Mewo..? He strokes the cat gently, as Mewo's purrs tremble his hand.
Next he looks at the tissue box. Regular tissue box, nothing special about it. Some are wet, probably from tears. Who knows though, best not to touch it.

He flips through the sketch book eagerly, trying to find some form of art. He's always been a fan of art, not really the music type tho. I mean, it's ok... I guess... He finally finds the first drawing in the page, and it seems to be a head of some kind. But it's eyes are all fucked up or something. He trys the next page. A pattern of random objects line the page. The next page is a bloody cat with a knife stuck in it. Huh. All the entries beyond that are equally as weird and odd. Someone in a bathtub, a cat butler, a steak, a strange spider with a... interesting face... but the last two pages catches his eye. The second to last page looks like two people holding hands. Why do they look so... familiar.? The last page made Sunny's body tense up and shiver. Is that... something..? He stares at the black figure with the menacing eyeball, feeling his heartbeat go up again.
Before he could even think, he slams the book shut, making a large thud sound that echoes all around him. He slowly stands up and walks away towards the computer, trying to ignore everything he saw, but the thoughts still itched at his mind.

He sits down in front of the computer's screen, typing away at the keys. Most of the keys he realized, did noting, but he did stumble across a window with two options. Stare at the screen or Open your journal. He clicked on the first one, and it brought him back to the main home page. It was bricks. Just, bricks. With a little...creature in the corner? He didn't recognize it at first, until he realized it was a 'jash' from one of the old franchises. Apparently, it'd been a while.

He then clicked on the second option, which brought him to a screen with a bunch of entries. He read them all slowly, flabbergasted by what he saw. At the top it read, OMORI'S JOURNAL. He sat his hands behind his head, reading every entry. Today I spent time in white space. Everything was ok. And, Today I visited my friends, everything was ok. He felt his body go numb the more and more he read. He knew this was Omori's place... but he didn't know about all this stuff. He logged out of the computer and he felt the warmth of it on his lap.

Lastly, he looked at the lightbulb, one that he had broken before. Why is it here again... did he fix it...? It's pitch black inside. He feels sorta drawn to it. He stares at the lightbulb intensely, not realizing the footsteps that could be heard behind him.
