It was the afternoon Cheyenne and Mikey were playing video games,Donnie was talking to April,Raph was trying to punch the punching bag zoey was making fun of him saying she could do better (and she did!!),and I was just looking for something to do.I found myself walking back to the dojo to see Leo meditating..He was in the zone.I thought as I watched him intently through the door way.I was there watching him when he cleared his throat.

“Can I help you Mia?”He asked not moving from his spot on his floor.

“Yes…I uh mean No…no..I was just wondering what cha’ doing.”I said.’Man now I am like donnie.’

“just mediating..Would you uh like to join me?”He asked.I felt my cheeks go red as looked down so he wouldn’t see.

“Uh sure so how do you do this with all the noise?”I asked as I sat next to him,then got into the position as he was in.

“Well..”He started then he told me how to meditate,and soon I was just like him.

I though it was a couple of minutes when someone came in followed by others.The I heard murmuring.I felt a light around me then I opened up my eyes to see three turtles,zoey,and Cheyenne looking like I earthier killed someone,or something big just happened and I missed it.I looked around to see Leo like I killed the shredder.

“Uh what did I miss “I asked looking around in hopes for an answer.When Zoey step up..

“You were just like glowing and your tail,and ears disappeared..your were…um…well you were human again”Zoey stepped in looking back at her tail in shame.

“Well I guess I am special,and your not!!’’I said smiling 

“Yeah,Special…..Special.Ed.!”Zoey mumbled rolling her eyes.

“Whatever”I growled in a playful manner as I stood up.”So…What now…Donnie”I asked looking at him then my friends.

“Well I might need to run some test to see what controls you..um well…..Power.’’He said,I could tell he was very,very,very confused about it,and to tell you the truth so was I.”I mean if that’s okay with you that is.”Donnie said looking at me then zoey.

“Sure,why not!”I said walking to his lab.

I was on the spinning chair…again..What can I say I love to spin in it.

“So Donnie hows things going with you and april?”I asked as I came to a stop long enough for him to put a needle in me,and for him to answer the question.

“What do you mean?”Donnie asked totally relaxed on the subject.I could see a smile form on his face..Maybe what I said finally sunk threw and he asked her out!!!

“I saw you talking to her..Did you ask her out?OMG did she say Yes!?!Tell meeee”I groaned wanting an answer.

“Well no..”He said..which got me worried at first.”But she did hug me TWICE!!Then kissed me!!”He said really excited.He was almost jumping up and down..

“Really OMG that is so awesome!!”I squealed.”Maybe one day there will be an apritello”I said out loud.

“A…what?”Donnie asked me.

“You know apritello it’s a mixture of your two names!”I said hoping he wouldn’t ask anything like where it came from.

“Oh..I like it…..’apritello’..It has a nice ring to it…doesn’t it?”He asked smiling. 

“Like totally!”I said in a dramatic voice holding my hands out as if it was that obvious that they would be perfect.He then ran some more test on me,while talking to me about the different things such as his inventions,why he likes April,and just April in general.”So when will you ask her,and where?”I asked back to spinning on the chair.He just shrugged as he mixed a sample of my blood in with the mutagen,I watched it as it changed from a blue to a black and red color.

“Now um can I ask you a question?”Donnie asked as he took some notes on the change in mutagen.

“Shoot!”I said looking at his inventions that he created.

“Do you..well like like my brother Leo?”He asked stoping the chair to look me in the eyes.I felt my cheeks going hot.

“Well..I um it-it’s complicated.”I said looking down in hopes he didn’t see me blush.I look up to see him smile his gap tooth smile.

“I think you would be a good couple.”He said going back to work.Wanting to change the subject I said

“I-i forgot to say thank you…For the blanket.”saw him start chuckling as though there was a joke I was missing out on.”What”I said scared of the answer.

“Oh nothing but that wasn’t me.”He said trying to get his work back in order

“T-then who was it?”I asked hoping it wasn’t who I thought it was.

“It was Leo..”He said looking at me.I just groaned know it would be him.He then told me the story as he ran some more test on me.After that I got up off the chair.”Hey um Mia.”Donnie said getting my attention.

“Yeah Don?”I said looking at him.

“Thanks..”He said looking at some of the test he took on me

“For what?I asked leaning on the wall of the lab.

“For listening to me…I know I can be annoying.”He said looking down.

“Aww!”I said going over there and hugging.”It’s,nothing if anything I am annoying,but you are fun to talk to!”

“Really?”Donnie said/asked looking like I just told a kid that if he did something he could have the puppy he wanted.

“Yep,and if you need someone to talk to I will be here..Kay?’’I said looking at him before I left.

“Kay.”He said as I closed the door to let him work.'I think I just gained a new friend,and he was a turtle.’I thought as I walked to the couch to see leo watching his favorite show Space Heroes!

“What we watching?”I asked plopping down next to Zoey.She just looked at me.

“A very crappie show,”Zoey growled.Leo turned around and said.

“It is not ‘crappie’..It’s an awesome show about leadership,and-“

“Yeah I don't care.”Zoe said glaring at Leo.Then they got into it..I just sat there listening to them just in case I need to intervene.Raph then walked in a towel over his neck.

“Whats going on?”Raph asked me

“Space Heroes.”I said not taking my eyes off of them.”Raph..”I said turing around finally.”You know that I am not a bad person…Right?’’I saw him think about for a while.Then he smiled at me.

‘’Right”He said,then ruffled my hair then went in his room.I turned back around to see a very mad Zoey looking at me like just staged her in the back,and Leo looked like a confused puppy..so cute..I mean uh………………who am I kidding he was the definition of hot!!Though I would NEVRE EVER tell him that.Then space heroes was back on and Leo went back to watching the show.

“What?”I asked going to the kitchen.Cheyenne and Mikey were baking something to do with pizza.She was talking about an anime show called ouarn high school host club.Mikey thought that it was something that was really happing from where we came from.Cheyenne just went with it…of course.Then I heard Leo turn off the TV and Zoey screamed 

"finally!!"Then he came in and said that it was time for patrol.Mikey groaned and try to protest saying he wanted to finish cooking but Leo wanted nothing to do with it,so he (Mikey) made Cheyenne promise that she would finish there little creation.

“Wait we’er not going with you?”Zoey asked walking through the kitchen.

“Nope”Raph said piping the p.

“Well,why not!”Zoey asked pouting.Donnie then walked in.

“It’s too dangerous,and your 'powers’ aren’t really stable so yeah.”Donnie said walking behind Raph to get out of the kitchen.

“And until your powers are under control then I-i mean we don’t want you guys out there.”Leo said as him and Mikey walked out.Then they were out of the lair and me and cheyenne were working on this project which was a pizza smoothie with jellybeans..What could go wrong!!Zoey was just sitting there.

“So..”Cheyenne said as she closed the blender.

“So what" I said washing my hands from the pizza and jellybean mess.

“Whats the plan?”Zoey said getting closer to me.

“Nothing,look the guys wanted us to stay put and thats what WE going to do!Kay so get over your selves.”I said looking down.I wanted to go out there but rules are rules..Though some rules were meant to-wait what am I thinking.They said to stay put and thats what I am going to do!I looked at my friends and there pleading eyes.”Fine but if anyone ask I tried to convince you out of it!”I said as I made my way to the dojo.

“Yeah,yeah.”said Cheyenne and Zoey not far behind me.I smiled at everything that happened since we got to the lair.I then walked to where all the weapons were and opened up the door…Wow a lot more weapons then I could imagine.I gave Zoey a mace,Cheyenne a nunchuck looking thing but it had spikes on the top (seems deadly enough),and I got a Katana blade.When someone cleared their voice before we could leave..I forgot about the rat..

“And where are you girls going?”He asked looking at our weapons then us.

“Umm n-nowhere..uh ….sir”Cheyenne said trying to hid her weapon.He just ignored her and turned to me.

“We just wanted to train..so maybe one day we can go on patrol..If its okay with you..”I said rocking back and forth on my feet.Zoey just looked at me in shock,but then smiled and just went with it.Splinter just stroke his beard and hummed as though deciding on something.

“Well..”Zoey said holding tight to her mace.He then agreed,but he had some conditions like we had to start slow,we couldn’t go agents the boys,and just stuff like that.After that we were able to train..
