Sooooooooo..... It's been a while. I swear I have a perfectly good reason for it and I will give you the deads after the chapter cause obviously that's what you're here for.

Also, if you are reading any of the other works of mine, you will notice that the author's notes are the same. That's because I'm lazy and sleep deprived.

Also it's my birthday! So this is a treat from me to you. Enjoy the chapter!

"That song was awesome!" Buford said.

"Always expect the best from Love Handel." Holly said. Everyone stared chattering about the song before Adyson stopped them.

"Shh. We're getting closer to the portal."

Phineas and Perry try to sneak up on him, but Platyborg lands in front of Phineas and Perry. He grabs and throws them to the floor. Phineas' baseball launcher slides away as they land. Perry motions to the Other Dimensionator and hands Phineas his grappler. Phineas runs off as Platyborg lands, and he and Perry grapple.

Phineas fires the grapple hook up to the platform and rises up the cord. Doofenshmirtz-2 hears the sound it makes and looks up.

"What? Oh!" He throws a razor disc, which cuts the cord. Phineas falls from a height but lands on the couch from before. Doofenshmirtz-2 charges at him. "I've had just about enough of you, you..."

Phineas hits him with the cushion Perry peed on and runs. "Ugh, what is on this? Ugh!" Doofenshmirtz-2 takes it off and throws it at Phineas, who ducks.

"Gross!" everyone yelled, seeing the pee stain on the wall.

Meanwhile, Perry and Platyborg are fighting another corner. Perry punches Platyborg in the face but shakes his hand because of the pain. Platyborg then punches Perry, which causes his fedora to fall off, and sends him rocketing into a storage closet full of sports equipment, some of which falls out. Perry comes out in a football helmet and pads. He charges and slams into Platyborg, hitting him into a wall. Platyborg punches him in the face, but this time it's he who shakes his hand. Perry smirks, raps his knuckles on the football helmet, and shrugs smugly.

"He's so smug." Candace said with a smirk. It was fun to watch when he wasn't doing it on her. She didn't care what her parents or brothers say. That little meat-brick was always too smug with her, even with that mindless act of his.

Back in the ground, Candace and Stacy watch as the Normbots keep coming. "I was wrong, Stacy, about everything. I'm not a grown-up. I can't control mysterious forces. I can't even get my mom to see what my brothers are doing! Candace suddenly smiles. "Stacy, that's it! I can't get my mom to see what my brothers are doing!" she excitedly says as she runs off.

"Candace, where are you going?"

"I'm gonna bust my brothers to my mom! And I'm gonna fail!"

Stacy bursts out laughing. "Never in my life, would I think you would say that so happily." She said causing everyone to laugh. Even Candace had a sheepish smile on her face.

"Yeah, let's just hope it works."

At DEI, Doofenshmirtz is still at the front door, talking to Mrs. Thompson on the intercom.

"He's still there?" Katie asked, perplexed.

"No, it's Heinz Doofenshmirtz. You borrowed sugar from me this morning!"

"I don't have any sugar. I had to borrow some from my neighbor this morning."

"Yeah, that's me. That's..."

"Oh, he's a nice man, but I hear he's divorced."

"Oh, THAT she remembers."

The room is again filled with laughter.

Candace runs into the cineplex, which is showing "That Darn Fiancé". She goes into the theatre and sees her mom and dad watching the movie while wearing 3-D glasses, oblivious to the many Normbots flying around.

"Psst, mom!" Candace said, going up to them.

"Candace, what are you doing here?" Linda asked.

"You've got to come outside and bust the boys!"

"I'm not leaving now. The girl is about to forgive the guy for the clichéd misunderstanding..." a Normbot tears through the screen. "After she battles these robots."

"Whoa, this 3-D is amazing!" Lawrence said excitedly.

Everyone except Linda and Lawrence facepalmed. The adults shared an embarrassed laugh. They really don't have any excuse for being this clueless.

Back in the streets, Ferb charges at another bot. Isabella runs up, manning a baseball launcher.

"Ferb, we'll handle things down here!" she fires, hitting a bot. "Go help Phineas!"

Ferb leaps off the bull and runs into a hardware store. He grabs two plungers, then runs to the Danville Impound Lot, where the Platypult is.

"How did you find the Platypult?" Milly asked. Ferb blinked and Milly sighed. "I forget who I was talking to for a second."

He slides across it, activating the tail as he slides onto it. It launches him into the air, and he uses the plungers to stick to the side of the Doofenshmirtz Evil Inc. building, and he starts climbing.

"Lawrence, contact my cardiologist for me, please." Linda sighed.

On the roof, Phineas picks up some plates from the buffet table and chucks them at Doofenshmirtz-2, who dodges and uses cushions to block. Phineas then hits him with a bowl filled with pasta. Doofenshmirtz picks up a lamp and tries to hit him with it. Phineas dodges and backs up to the Normbot controller. Doofenshmirtz-2 swings at Phineas, but he leaps away. Doofenshmirtz-2 accidentally hits the panel, making the Normbots shudder and spark. Phineas hides and looks as Doofenshmirtz-2 fiddles with the controller.

"Oh come on, you stupid thing, work!" Doofenshmirtz-2 seems to fix it, and the Normbots go back to normal and continue.

"Oh, so that dish must be what's controlling the robots! Maybe I don't need to close the portal if I can just take out that..." Phineas looks around and sees the baseball launcher. "Oh, yeah!"

He runs to pick it up, but Doofenshmirtz-2 grabs it first.

"Oh no!"

"Oh, no, you don't! Ha ha! Now the baseball is on the other foot! Or however that saying goes. I'm not really sure..." Phineas tries back up without being noticed, but Doofenshmirtz-2 sees him. "Hey, hey! Where are you going?"

Doofenshmirtz-2 aims at Phineas and backs him into a wall. "You know, all that's going to happen from you guys coming up here is that I'm going to have a brand new Platyborg! And maybe even a Boyborg too, huh? Try saying that five times fast: boyborg, boyborg, boyborg, boyborg, boyborg, boyborg... eh, I guess its not that hard. Never mind."

"Where are you Ferb!" Isabella said anxiously.

Ferb just blinked.

Meanwhile, Perry and Platyborg are still fighting. Platyborg tries multiple times to punch Perry, who dodges every one of them. He head-butts Platyborg, who dives at him. He uses his feet to kick him away. Platyborg leaps back in front of him and tries to hit Perry with the spike on the end of his tail. Perry dodges and takes off the pads and helmet. He uses the helmet as a weapon to knock Platyborg into the buffet table, where his spike is impaled on a turkey.

Platyborg at first tries to get up, but the turkey weighs him down. He then manages to get up on his feet, but the turkey is still stuck on the end of his tail. He tries to reach it, but can't because his tail won't bend.

"Oh my god." Vanessa said, giggling with everyone else. "I wish I had actual footage of this."

Perry smiles, amused, as Platyborg keeps trying to reach it. Platyborg sees this and punches Perry in the face. He falls to the ground, with Platyborg on top, and they grapple. Platyborg tries to hit him, but Perry dodges, and he tickles Platyborg's neck. Platyborg starts chattering, and his tail snaps forward, planting the turkey over his head. He stumbles blindly, and Perry kicks him, sending him back into a fuse box, which his spike pierces, electrocuting him.

"Ouch. That's a shocking way to end the fight."

"Baljeet, please don't."

He jolts and grabs two corn on the cob. The electricity burns the turkey and causes the corn to pop. Perry puts his hat back on as kernels fall all around him. He catches a flying kernel in his mouth easily.

"You have to give him credit for his mindless act." Linda said, remembering the first scene where he didn't react to the popcorns thrown at him. "No one would have doubted he's not a normal platypus."

"You know something, kid?" Doofenshmirtz-2 said, aiming the baseball launcher at Phineas. "You've been a thorn in my side all day long."

Perry sees this and quickly looks around for anything to help. He sees a bat on the ground. He whistles and Phineas looks at Perry. "But that's about to change..."

Perry hits the bat with his tail towards Phineas.

"right... now!"

Doofenshmirtz-2 fires in slow motion, just as Phineas grabs the bat. He hits the ball away, and it heads straight for the robot control dish.

"NOOOOOOO!" Doofenshmirtz-2 cries in slow motion.

"YES!" Everyone yelled out loud.

The ball hits, shattering the control dish. Doofenshmirtz-2 cries as the bots shut down and fall out of the sky. "Augh! My babies! No, what have you done?!"

He runs off as the bots continue to fall. Phineas smiles when the bots fall around him. A scene of thousands of robots falling through the sky is shown. Ferb is watching this from the side of the building he is hanging on. Isabella, Buford, and three of the Fireside Girls watch from under a bus stop.

"It's weird that Perry's a secret agent, huh?" Isabella told Buford.

"Yeah, but it was obvious in retrospect."

"How?!" the Flynn-Fletcher family asked together.

Baljeet walks up to them, wearing only the top half of the Beak suit.

"Has anyone seen my pants?"

"Yeah, they're over there." Buford points to Irving, who is in the legs, holding two crowbars and standing on a pile of dismantled Normbots.

"WOLVERINES!" He yelled out.

"That's so primal." Milly said in distaste.

Back in the theatre...

"Mom, if you care one iota about me, your family, and your city, you'll come outside with me right now!" Candace pleaded.

"Well, I guess I could use some more popcorn." Linda said.

"Great! Come on, come on, come on, come on!" Candace said, pulling her out.

Ferb finally arrives at the top of the building.

"A little late to the party buddy." Jeremy said with a smile.

"Ferb, bro! I just hit the best home run ever!" Phineas said.

Ferb gives him a thumbs up. Just then, the ground shakes, and a chamber opens. Out of it rises a huge robot made to look like Doofenshmirtz-2.

"Now, tremble before me!" Doofenshmirtz-2 laughs as the head of the robot look down at them.

"I had to open my mouth." Jeremy sighed.

"No, I'm down here." the robot's arm moves, showing Doofenshmirtz-2 in a cockpit built into the arm. "See? One last trick up my sleeve. It's me! I'm the trick up my...own sleeves. Cause look, I-I'm in the sleeve, get it?"

Doofenshmirtz-2 rambles, but they just stare at him. "Ugh, pearls before swine." He pulls a lever, the bot aims back a punch. "Hope you got your 3-D glasses, cause I'm comin' at ya!"

Linda closed her eyes, not wanting to see anymore. She doesn't think she can handle it anymore.

He laughs and whoops as the arm extends and lets fly with a punch. Phineas, Ferb, and Perry hold each other and brace for impact when suddenly...

"Hey!"

The arm stops at Doofenshmirtz yell.

"What? I'm kind of in the middle of something here!" Doofenshmirtz-2 said, gesturing to the arm that is less than an inch away from impact.

"I got a little something just for you..." Doofenshmirtz reaches into his lab coat while Doofenshmirtz-2 raises the arm away from the kids to look. Doofenshmirtz pulls out the Choo-Choo toy train and shows it to his counterpart. "Here!"

"Choo-Choo!" Doofenshmirtz-2 shouts happily, seeing his childhood toy.

"Saved by the evil pharmacist." Lawrence said with a relieved sigh.

"Yeah, it's mine. See, I told you I never lost it." Doofenshmirtz explained. "It was in a box in my pantry labeled "VHS Tapes". Go figure. Anyway, you can have it."

Doofenshmirtz-2 lowers the arm and leaps out. "I can't believe it! Choo-Choo, it is you!" he takes the toy and hugs it close. "Oh, heart melting, backstory resolving, evilness diminishing."

"That's all it took to stop him? A toy train?" Gretchen asked in disbelief.

"Eh, it's the least I can do." Doofenshmirtz said nonchalantly.

"You know, I don't even know what I was thinking with the whole "evil robots" thing. Actually, when I look around, I-I'm really embarrassed. Here, let me clean this up." Doofenshmirtz-2 pulls out a remote labeled SELF DESTRUCT. "Look. "Self Destruct" button."

"Aw, you."

"No matter which dimension it is, Dad will always have a self destruct button." Vanessa said with a breath of laughter.

"Yeah. Here we go."

He pushes the button, and all the Normbots explode, vanishing into thin air. In a kid's room, a child plays with a toy robot, but it explodes as well.

The bots outside the theatre exploded. A second later, Candace drags Linda out.

"Come on, come on, come on! Come on, hurry! Hurry!" Candace yells and motions for Linda to look.

"Do I even need to say there's nothing there anymore?" Linda asked.

"Mom, you can say it all you want! There's nothing there! Woo hoo! I did it! I saved the world!" Candace hugs Linda and does a little dance in celebration. She stops and smiles, and an awkward pause comes. "You can go back to your movie now."

"You've never seen so happy you failed to "bust" them." Stacy said with a smile. Candace smiled back. It took her a whole summer to figure it out, but busting wasn't the only priority in her life now. Even if she still sometimes slipped into her not-so-old habits.

Linda stares for a second and then decides to go back in.

On Doofenshmirtz Evil Inc.'s rooftop, a portal is opened back to the 2nd dimension.

"Yeah, you know, we're totally cool now, I'm just going to go back to my home and live out the rest of my days with my Choo-Choo." Doofenshmirtz-2 said. "Okay then, ciao!"

He steps through the portal back to the 2nd dimension. "Ah, home, it's good to be..."

Suddenly he gets surrounded by the Firestorm Girls. "Uh-oh."

2nd Dimension Major Monogram walks in front of him. "Book him, ladies." He orders.

"You know, my crimes against humanity had just completely slipped my mind." Doofenshmirtz-2 said as they grab and drag him away.

"How can he forget that?" Holly asked, shaking her head.

"Hey, did you guys just see that? I saved Danville!" Candace said as she runs up to Phineas and Ferb while the 2nd Dimension gang come out of the portal.

"Good job, soldier." Candace-2 said, smiling.

"So, what will you do now?" Candace asked her counterpart.

"Wow, I haven't thought of anything but busting Doofenshmirtz for years. I don't know."

"Well, I know what interests I'd pursue." Candace points to 2nd Dimension Jeremy as he comes out of the portal.

"Hey, here you all are." He said.

"Ooooooo." All the fireside girls called out teasingly.

"I'll take that under consideration. And what about you, Candace?" Candace-2 asked back.

"You know, after all of this, I'm gonna to give myself a little more time to be young. It's not such a bad place to be."

"You know what? Me too." Candace-2 said, and they hug.

"Lesson well learnt, huh Candace?" Linda asked.

"Right."

"Hey, I just wanted to say thanks for telling us all about summer. You know, opening our horizons, and teaching Ferb classical guitar." Phineas-2 said, and Ferb-2 strums a few chords.

Suddenly they hear a whirring sound, and they look to see Platyborg rise out of the mass of popcorn and throws off the turkey.

"Uh-oh." Phineas said as he and Ferb look in fear.

Platyborg suddenly goes on all four logs, reverting to pet mode and doing a metallic-sounding chatter.

"Other dimension Perry's back to normal too!" Phineas said happily.

"Hey, it's our Perry! Perry!" Phineas-2 said, happily as they go over to him. "Looks like the evil was fried right out of him."

"Sorry he's mostly made of metal now." Phineas said.

"Are you kidding? That makes him extra cool! Thanks so much guys." Phineas-2 said, and they head back to their own dimension.

"I'm glad we could help."

Platyborg looks back, and Perry salutes him. Platyborg smiles and salutes back. He enters the portal, and Ferb closes it.

"Man, this was the greatest day ever. Imagine how much fun we can have together now that we know you're a secret agent!" Phineas said happily, not noticing Major Monogram and Carl walking up to them.

"Oh. This is it huh. The moment we find out why he kept it a secret." Phineas said, and Ferb took his hand for support.

"Seems so."

"Yes yes, the next fifteen minutes should be a real hoot. Then, of course, Agent P will be sent away forever." Monogram said.

"Screw you, old man!"

"Phineas!"

"What?"

"What?" Phineas asked, confused.

"You didn't know? Didn't he give you a pamphlet?" Monogram questioned.

"We threw it away."

"Does anyone read those things?" Monogram turned to Carl.

"I tried to warn you, sir."

"Who reads a pamphlet anymore?" Buford asked, causing Baljeet to look at him confused.

"You do know we will have to read college pamphlets in a few years right?"

"That's what college websites are for!"

"Kids, I'm sorry, but now that Agent P's cover has been blown, you won't be allowed to see him anymore." Monogram explained.

"That's why you didn't want us to know your secret." Perry nods at Phineas's revelation. "So we'll never see Perry again? There has to be another way!"

"Sorry, Phineas. It isn't safe, you know too much."

"I still don't get why it's not safe." Phineas said. "We have faced far worse than this."

"Isn't that the truth." Candace sighed.

"Now I never wished so much that I could un-know something."

"Sir, maybe there is a way. What about Dr. Doofenshmirtz's Amnesia-nator?" Carl suggested.

"There it is." Phineas said. "This must be how we all lost our memory of the day."

"I never built an Amnesia-nator." Doofenshmirtz said before making a thoughtful expression. "I think I'd remember building something like that."

"5 bucks say he shot himself with it." Milly whispered to Katie, who made a face at the bet.

"I'm not taking that sucker bet."

"Well, that might work, but you'd all have to agree." Monogram said.

"So our choice is to: either forget the best day ever, forget the greatest adventure we've ever had, and forget meeting Agent P, or remember today, but never see Perry again?" Phineas asked.

A long pause came as everyone looks at Perry. Perry stood there waiting for the decision that could very well change his life.

"Well, we've had a lot of great days, but we only have one Perry." Ferb said, causing Phineas to smile.

"Agreed."

"Yeah." Everyone agrees while Perry smiles, both in relief and gratitude.

"As if we will ever not choose Perry." Candace said with a smile.

Later, at the OWCA Headquarters, everyone is gathered in one of their labs.

"Alright, everybody, tall kids in the back." Monogram said next to a screen where Carl is checking everything. "Just need to do a little more programming here, and we'll be ready to roll."

"Hey, buddy. Ferb and I just wanted to say our goodbyes. You know, we thought we'd met the real you when we found out you were Agent P." Phineas said as he and Ferb walks up to Perry. "But the fact is, pet, secret agent, they're both the real you. You are now, and always have been a great pet, and a great friend." He said, patting him on his head. "We're going to miss you, Agent P." Perry hugs Ferb, then hugs Phineas. "I love you, pal."

"I'm glad I was able to tell him that after everything." Phineas said, making everyone around him smile. "And I'll tell him that again when he come home."

Monogram's eyes water while standing next to Carl.

"Sir, are you crying?" Carl asked.

"No, I'm sweating through my eyes."

"Sounds like a certain bully I know."

"Shut up nerd!"

"Okay, sir, we're ready." Phineas said as they walk back to the group. Perry goes over to stand next to Monogram.

"Okay, Carl, we're all set." Monogram said.

A pause came as they all got ready for the inator to hit.

"Uh, Major Monogram?" Isabella called, raising her hand.

"Uh, yes?"

"So, none of us will remember any of today?"

"That's right."

Isabella looks at Phineas and smirks. "Good." she grabs him and kisses him right on the lips. Phineas gasps when she lets go.

Isabella's eyes widened. No, she didn't. She looks to the boy next to her to see him touching his lips as if in a daze. A small smile came to his face, and he blushed. When he noticed her staring, they both blushed and quickly looked away.

"Yes! Finally!" Everyone else cheered, seeing the kiss.

"Isabella!" Phineas exclaimed.

"Hit it, Carl!"

"Wait! Wait! Wait!"

There is a flash of white light.

"We really should have that talk about our feelings soon, huh?"

"Yes. Yes, we should."

The reason I didn't post any chapters for months was because I was working 12 hour shifts everyday and just didn't have the strength to write anything. Even now I'm recovering from the workload so I won't be updating until at least May or June. But I didn't want to just leave you with a note so I sat down and completed this chapter. Hopefully I will be able to write again soon.
