Later, after leaving the Resistance headquarter, they are riding through a cave on some train tracks in mining cars.

"Wait, so in this dimension, Perry is a secret agent?" Candace asked.

"No, in this dimension, he's a cyborg." Phineas said.

"So, where is he an agent?"

"That would be in our dimension, but we're not in our dimension right now."

"Okay, I'm having trouble processing this."

"Now I wish I hadn't thrown away that pamphlet."

"See! Pamphlet's are important!" Stacy exclaimed, feeling justified.

"And why are we in mine cars?" Candace asked almost like she just noticed her surroundings.

"This will take us as far as the underground entrance to his headquarters." Isabella-2 answered.

"From there, we go up the ventilation shaft. The detainment center is on Level 4." Candace-2 said, showing a map.

"And the snack bar is on Level 5!" Buford-2 said suddenly, and Candace-2 glares at him. "If there's time!"

"Ugh, Buford." She said, putting away the map.

"I'm just gonna get some nachos."

"Man, now I want some nachos!" Buford exclaimed.

By some Mom power, Linda quickly went to the kitchen and brought back bowls full of nachos.

"Thanks Mrs Flynn-Fletcher/Mom!"

Candace-2 leaps up the cars and uses a Bo staff to hit a turnstile. The tracks move, and they go down another route. Candace-2 goes back and sits near Candace.

"So if there's another me, and another them, then there must also be another Jeremy Johnson here, right?" Candace asked.

"Huh? Oh yeah, Johnson Jeremy, leads a three-man strike team on the north side. Good soldier." Candace-2 said without much feeling.

"Good Soldier? That's all she thinks of him?" Candace said in disbelief.

"Good soldier? That's all you think of him?" Candace asked in shock. "Don't you think he's dreamy, or cool, or even cute? Tell me at least you think he's cute!"

Candace blinked as her screen counterpart said the same words.

"That was so freaky." Stacy said.

"I know, right?"

Candace-2 stares at her counterpart for a while before turning away. "Cute doesn't win the war, kid."

An uncomfortable silence came over the group at her words.

"Oh, Candace." Linda said, seeing the adult her daughter was being. Other dimension or not, it was still a chilling thought.

"I hope you guys were able to save them." Ginger told the Flynn-Fletcher siblings.

"Oh... well, I guess," Candace said dejectedly. "but what do you guys do around here for, you know, fun?"

"Look, Candace is it?" Candace-2 turns towards her in full attention. "No offense, but fun isn't really on my agenda. You know, since Doofenshmirtz took over the Tri-State Area, even though I was a little girl, I've been focused on one thing, and one thing only, he's going down, down, down..."

"Sounds familiar?" Stacy asked Candace.

"Oh, hardy har har."

"Down, down, down, I know." Candace said, interrupting her. "But what about BFF's, or slumber parties, or busting your little brothers?"

"Busting my brothers? I've spent every day of my life trying to protect my little brothers. I had to grow up pretty quick to make sure they didn't have to."

"Gee, you make growing up sound like it's a bad thing."

"It is what it is. I'll do whatever I have to do to protect the ones I love."

"She makes it sound like I won't help my brothers." Candace said with a huff.

"And we all know that's not true." Jeremy reassured her, and her brothers nodded in agreement.

Phineas-2 and Ferb-2 suddenly jump up from under the sheet behind them. "Aww, thanks, sis!"

"Guess it doesn't matter which version it is." Candace said. "You guys always end up in the middle of trouble."

"What are you guys doing here?" Candace-2 demanded.

"We're here to help."

"Sir, we're nearing the target." Isabella-2 reported.

"Ugh! Don't move!" Candace-2 said to Phineas-2 and Ferb-2. She leaps into the forward car and uses her staff to jam the wheels just as they reach an entryway. They all get out, and she gave Phineas the map. "Okay people, change of plans. This is as far as we go."

"We're not gonna help them?" Phineas-2 asked.

"No. We're gonna get you two home where it's safe."

"But we want to-"

"Look, this isn't our fight, it's their fight. And you two shouldn't have gotten involved!" She hits a button, and a door opens. "Maybe none of us should have. Now, we're outta here."

"Now, that's just rude." Isabella said.

"No, that's practical." Ferb said, surprising everyone. "She has her own problems to fight. She doesn't have to be involved in ours."

Phineas-2 and Ferb-2 get into the cars, and she pushes the cars. Isabella-2 and Buford-2 follow the others into the doorway.

"I don't remember it being so dark down here." Buford-2 commented.

Candace-2 turns, hearing this. "Dark?"

The lights come on, revealing Normbots surrounding them.

"I'm... sort of not surprised." Molly said.

"We've all seen too many action movies to think it would be that easy to rescue Perry." Gretchen said.

"That's because it's a trap!" Doofenshmirtz laughs as he comes out with Doofenshmirtz-2, who is holding Perry by a collar chain. "And if it was light, you would've seen us and run away, hence ruining the trap!"

"I think they get that." Doofenshmirtz-2 deadpanned.

"Perry! We uh, well... well, we uh, came to rescue you!" Phineas paused as the situation sinks in. "So far it's not going as well as we'd hoped."

"We didn't have a lot of time to, you know, plan something elaborate, but we could've, I don't know, created some sort of diversion, just in case..." He sighs. "Yeah, we could've thought this out more."

"Yeah, I was wondering what plan we had. Guess we didn't have one." Phineas said.

"That's gonna bite us in the back, isn't it." Candace sighed.

Doofenshmirtz-2 laughs as he pulls on Perry's chain. "I got you, and I got your little friends, too. Game over. You lose! I win! Mark this the hour of your doom, Perry the Platypus!" He checks his watch for the time. "Three-forty...ugh, I got one of these watches with just the little hash marks. It doesn't even have numbers on it! Let's just say it's between 3:30 and 4:00, Eastern Standard Time."

Phineas and Ferb's eyes widened, remembering the beginning of the movie and somehow knowing what Perry was about to do.

Perry's eyes widen in sudden realization, and he pushes a button on his watch, showing a hologram of Major Monogram showering. He yelps and covers himself. Both Doofenshmirtz turns away in disgust, as do Platyborg and the Normbots. 2nd Dimension Doofenshmirtz lets go of Perry's chain, and he runs, still having the hologram on.

"I told you, not between 3:30 and 4:00!" Holograph Monogram said.

"That's one thing I'm glad I forgot." Candace said in disgust.

Perry goes up to Phineas and Ferb, who also have their eyes closed, and grabs them, pulling them away.

"They're getting away!" Doofenshmirtz-2 yelled.

They run out the door as the Normbots chase them. Candace-2 hits the button, shutting the door before the Normbots can get them, and an alarm sound goes off.

"I knew this was a bad idea. Alright, everyone in the cars!" She said, and they all hop in. She pushes the cart forward. "Go, go, go, go, go! Isabella, start the motor!"

"Yes, sir!" Isabella-2 leaps to the front as the Normbots melt through the door. "I got it!" she starts it as the bots chase them.

Phineas pulls Candace-2 in as the cart moves faster, while Ferb tries to pull the collar from Perry's neck.

"You two, keep your heads down and remember your training!" Candace-2 said to Phineas-2 and Ferb-2.

"But we never had any training!"

"Well, keep your heads down!" They both duck. "Consider yourselves trained."

"How is that training?" Katie asked.

"It's enough to keep them safe." Milly reasoned.

"This is going to be close." she picks up her staff and twirls it as the Normbots approach. "All right, you rust buckets. Let's dance."

She smashes away several of them as Phineas, Ferb, Perry, and Candace watched in awe.

"Um, can you do that?" Phineas asked Candace.

"Well... apparently..."

"Other dimension Candace is badass!"

"Phineas!"

"Sorry Mom."

Candace-2 sinks her staff into the neck of one bot. She uses it to vault and hit another, then rips the head off the first bot. Buford-2 stares wide-eyed.

"I am so in love with her right now."

"What?"

"Nothin'!"

"Oh gross! I could have lived my whole life without knowing that!" Candace yelled.

"Calm you jets. He's talking about the bad ass Candace." Buford said.

"... That makes me feel worse."

"If we can get to the north tunnel before they get to us, I can trip the security door." Candace-2 said. Perry pulls his collar off his neck. "Isabella, can you give us more throttle?"

"It's all the way in, sir!"

"Alright, hang tough, this is going to get hairy." She leaps away as Perry takes her place, wielding his collar and chain as a weapon. Phineas picks up a wrench, and Ferb takes off his shoes and ties the laces together to make nun-chucks.

Candace-2 leaps to the front.

"Can we make those turns at this speed?" Isabella-2 asked her.

"Well, we're about to find out!" She uses her staff to hit the turnstile, and they swerve.

Perry wraps his chain around one of the Normbots' arms and attaches the collar to a sign, causing the chain to rip the arm off. It lands in the car where Buford-2 and Candace are. Its laser fires, setting fire to the car.

"That definitely didn't work like he wanted it to." Vanessa said with a wince.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa!" Buford-2 yells, and Candace screams as they back up from the fire in opposite direction. They go through a tunnel and approach an entryway.

"There it is. We should be okay if we can just hold off these..." Candace-2 turns to see the bots getting hit with lasers. She looks and sees Phineas, Ferb, and Perry using the robot arm as a laser cannon.

"Can we do that?" Phineas-2 asked Candace-2.

"Yes!" Phineas shouted, fed up with how sheltered his counterparts are.

"No. Keep your head down." Phineas-2 ducks back down.

Platyborg flies down towards the cart. His hands turn to lasers, and he fires, hitting two of the wheels. The car skids on the rails.

"No, no, no...!" Phineas drops the arm at the sudden jolt.

"We're slowing down, sir!" Isabella-2 reported.

"Keep it on the floor!"

"It's on the floor!" They both look forward. "There's too much track, sir. I don't think we're gonna make it!"

"Everyone, to the front, now! We're going to have to cut loose these cars..." Candace-2 ordered, but the flames shot up, blocking Candace, Perry, Phineas, and Ferb.

"The motor's overheating!" Isabella-2 yelled.

Candace-2 looks at Phineas, Ferb, Candace, and Perry, and then to her Phineas and Ferb. She faces them with her decision made. "Sorry, guys. You're on your own."

"NO! Don't do it!" Candace yelled in distress.

She hits the lock with her staff, causing the cars to dislodge and leave the 1st dimension group. She opens the doorway as they go in, and it seals up again.

"What are you doing?!" Phineas-2 asked.

"My job. Protecting you two."

"We have to go back and help them!"

"That's not our fight."

"But you just abandoned them! We could've made it. We could've all made it!"

"Or we could've all been captured, and I wasn't gonna take that chance." Candace-2 said. "These are the tough choices, people. Somebody's gotta be the adult here. You two are safe, and that's what's important."

"But-but-but-!"

"End of discussion."

Phineas-2 looks down sadly, while the others accept the grim decision.

"Man. I had my heart set on those nachos." Buford-2 said, disappointed.

"Really, Buford? That's all you have to say?" Gretchen asked.

"What? It might be good nachos!"

In the 1st dimension, Stacy has a display table set up.

"Look, mysterious force. I feel a little awkward talking to you, since I didn't believe in you at first. 'Cause you know, it's crazy, but then I saw you eat my friend, so, I've made a little shrine here. It's...It's nice, there's a banana, and, uh, oh, Mr. Miggins! So, I hope this makes up for the disbelief thing. Are we, uh, are we good?"

"How dare you offer up Mr. Miggins! That is definitely not good!" Candace exclaimed while everyone laughed, thankful for the lighthearted scene after that anxiety-fueled event.

"To be fair, I don't remember doing that."

At 2nd dimension, DEI, Doofenshmirtz-2 talks to Phineas and Ferb, who are held by Normbots.

"Now you have no choice but to fix my machine."

"No." Phineas refused.

The gang laughed at Phineas's refusal. Not many know it, but Phineas can be a real rebel when he wants to.

"That's not one of your choices. Fix the machine!"

"No."

"Can, uh, can I say something?" Candace asked. "So I think I'm up to date on the whole Perry-agent thing. Strangely, that's the most normal thing that's happened this afternoon... But who exactly is this guy?"

"Perry being a secret agent is normal for you?" Linda asked.

"We've already established that I've seen him as Agent P and just thought it was me being high." Candace said with a shrug. "So yeah, that is pretty normal."

Phineas and Ferb turned to Doofenshmirtz-2. "Fix it!"

"No."

"Look, I would make myself do it, but apparently, he's an idiot." Doofenshmirtz-2 said, gesturing to Doofenshmirtz.

"Hey!" Doofenshmirtz yelled, offended.

"FIX THE MACHINE!"

"No!"

"Alright, then. You've forced my hand!"

"If he hits my son, I'm cutting his hand off." Linda said, causing everyone except Lawrence to look at her in shock.

Doofenshmirtz-2 pulls out a dog sock puppet and says in a high-pitched voice. "Fix the machine!"

"Is he actually serious?" Phineas asked, a little offended.

"No!"

"Really? When I was your age, I did anything a puppet told me to do!"

"How old do you think we are?"

"I don't know, one, two? It's hard to tell with the one eye. Anyway, I don't know why you're being so uncooperative. All I'm asking you to do is make my machine work so I can invade and conquer your world and enslave your loved ones."

"See, that's just it. Why would we do something that would lead to our own self-destruction?"

Doofenshmirtz hears this, and his eyes widen in realization. "Self-destruction? Self-destruct... Wait, wait! That's it! I remember now! They took out my self-destruct button!" he pulls it out. "I don't know why I put it back in, but here, I'll just rewire this, like so, and there!" he clips in a wire and turns it on, it forms a portal. "It's working! It's working! It is functioning properly!"

"PHINEAS!" Candace yelled.

"In my defense, no one thought Dr. D could figure that out."

Doofenshmirtz-2 smirks at Phineas. "Well well, look who just became redundant! Send them to their doom!" Platyborg points to Candace in question."Yes, her too." He points to Perry. "Yes yes, everyone. Doom, doom, doom, and..."

"Doom!" Doofenshmirtz said along with his counterpart. "Jinx! You owe me THREE sodas!"

"Okay, doom for him, too."

"Called it!" Holly said.

"What? But, but I'm you!"

"Doom!" Doofenshmirtz-2 said using the puppet.

"Wow, if I had a nickel for every time I was doomed by a puppet, I'd have two nickels, which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice, right?"

"I want to know about the first time it happened." Isabella said curiously, but Vanessa was already kneading her head to get rid of the memory.

"Trust me, you don't."

The scene changes to the Flynn-Fletchers siblings, Perry and Heinz in a blimp-like cage passing around a giant Balloony Balloon.

"Wow, so this is it huh? This is what it's like to be doomed, flying around in a blimp." Phineas said. "It really is awful."

"No, I think the dooming is happening down there." Candace said, pointing to an area-like stadium with Doofenshmirtz-2 laughing.

"Oh, cool that looks much more exciting."

"You know, it's better to flying around, than what looks like a very dangerous place." Jeremy said.

"I would like to go out an exciting way."

"Phineas, you have so much to look forward to, death should be the last thing in your mind." Linda said.

"I don't actually want to die. But if we have a choice-"

"-we would like to go out with a bang." Ferb finished for his brother.

Linda groaned while Lawrence silently wondered if he should book a therapist for his three kids.
