It's been four days since your fight with Negan.

The war was reaching the final stage. The Hilltop has recovered from the Savior's attack, which let several Savior POWs escape. The next day, Rick and Morgan dealt with them.

Negan's right hand man, Simon, tried to overtake the Saviors, which led to Negan killing him. With no one left to trust, Negan now wants to win badly, and will do whatever it takes to do so. Even if it means that he has to kill everyone.

You were at the Hilltop with Clementine and Lee. Louis was back at the Oasis keeping an eye on AJ and the community.

Daryl pointed at the map.

Daryl: All right. We'll stick to this road, keep to the trees, we'll get there quicker. Plus, we can keep an eye on the road that way.

He was discussing the plan to you, Clementine, Rosita, Rick, Michonne, Lee, Carol, and Maggie.

Rosita: Yeah, if they're planning anything, we'll see it.

Clementine: You think you can trust Gregory? What he told us?

Gregory was the one who gave you the plan from Dwight.

Maggie: I locked him up inside the house. He knew I wouldn't let him walk around free. He knew he was coming back to that.

You gave a nod.

Maggie: He doesn't believe in anything except himself, and he'd have to believe in the Saviors a whole lot to send us into a trap and think it would work out for him.

Daryl: Unless Dwight didn't tell him.

You: You think he could be setting us up?

You didn't know for sure what Dwight would be up to.

Daryl: Could be.

Rick picks up the map, and gives a nod to Maggie. He puts it into his back pocket.

Rick: Let's get ready. First team's going in 20.

The group began to disperse, and you walked with Clementine and Lee.

Lee: It's coming down to the wire. Final minutes of the fourth quarter. Crunch time.

You look down at your chest, and see the pin Luke gave you during the fight against Carver. Just like he helped lead the Oasis to freedom, you were going to do the same.

You: For a better life. For a better future. We're winning this.

The group going to ambush the team of Saviors included you, Lee, Clementine, Rick, Michonne, Daryl, Ezekiel, Morgan, Rosita, Carol, and Jesus.

Rosita looked through the binoculars as the group hid within the trees. She then handed them to you.

You looked through, and saw a group of Saviors setting up a roadblock. You saw eight of them, and showed five fingers then three more to your group to inform them. Rick gave a nod, and signaled the team to move up.

Once you did, you all fired moments later and dispatched the team of Saviors.

BRAKAKA!

BRAKAKA!

BRAKAKA!

You looked through the bodies to gather any more intel or supplies. Morgan stumbled upon a Savior  nearby who pleaded for his life.

Savior: Hey, hey, hey! I give up! I'm done!

Morgan looked at him, and immediately stabbed him with his sharpened staff.

SULK!

Morgan then cut his throat with a knife.

SULK!

Morgan took a breath and looked around. You kept on looking through bodies, ignoring his act.

Ezekiel then called out to the group.

Ezekiel: Good people, found something on our quarry.

You walked over to him.

Lee: What is it?

Ezekiel: A list and another map. And what appear to be other facts.

He handed the paper to Rick.

Rick: They're lining up Saviors on the Old Mill Road. That's where Negan will be.

You: We have to get to Negan before they figure out what happened here.

Rick begins to speak into his radio.

Rick: Maggie.

Maggie responds on the other end.

Maggie: I'm here.

Rick: It's time. It was a trap. So we're changing the plan.

Rick put away his radio, and looked at the rest of you.

The end was nearing.

The Savior truck sped down the road. They were making their way to the Oasis, and were going to attack. Another unit was on the way to the Hilltop as well.

The lead truck kept driving down the road, and suddenly it's tires popped. It had drove through spikes and was swerving out of control.

The driver got the vehicle to stop, and the two other cars behind it stopped before they can pass through the spikes themselves.

The lead Savior exited the middle car, and so did the rest from the trucks.

Savior 1: Stay alert.

He walked up to the truck, which had several Saviors surrounding it.

Savior 2: Tires are fucked.

The lead Savior crouched down to check them, and then got back up.

Savior 1: The Oasis is nearby. We take the cars and the rest go on foot.

Suddenly, the Savior heard a noise within the trees nearby, and held his gun up. The surrounding Saviors did so as well.

The lead Savior began to walk up near the bushes, gun still raised. Suddenly, a Molotov cocktail crashed at his feet, setting him ablaze.

Savior 1: Argh!

The Savior fell to the ground, burning to death.

Immediately after, gunfire came not from the direction of the cocktail, but from behind them.

BRAKAKA!

BRAKAKA!

Many of the Saviors dropped dead, while others took cover behind the vehicles.

Louis: Most of them are down! Surround them!

Wyatt led his small group of soldiers and went to the left. Russell led his group, which included Vince, to the right side.

A Savior tried to run up on Wyatt, but he hit him with the butt of his rifle, and shot him on the ground.

BRAKA!

Russell went onto the road, when suddenly a Savior entered one of the cars and went in reverse. He stepped on the gas and tried to run over Russell.

Vince: Watch out!

Vince leaped onto Russell and pushed him as the car drove past them.

Wyatt: Don't let them get away!

Oasis soldiers shot at the windshield of the car.

BRAKAKAKA!

The driver was shot dead, and the car crashed into a tree.

Three Saviors were left huddled behind one car. They decided to give up and dropped their weapons.

Meanwhile, Vince has just gotten up and helped Russell up as well.

Russell: Thanks, man.

Vince chuckled.

Vince: Just five days ago, you had your gun to my head.

Russell chuckled as well.

Nearby, Louis walked up to the surrendering Saviors.

Savior 2: We're done.

Savior 3: Don't kill us.

A soldier walked up to Louis.

Soldier: What do we do?

Louis turned around, and looked at Vince. He remembered when you spared him. He felt like giving them a fair chance like you did with Vince was the way to go.

Louis: Tie them up. Let's go back home.
