CHAPTER ELEVEN ENDING B
"I'm sorry," I look at Zaiden, "I pick Hayden." I wasn't sure with my choice anymore but I liked Hayden, he always seemed to be the sensible person in fourth grade. He always seemed to make me confused and smarter everyday that I have to spend with him. He would always lecture me on animals and practical things. I walk over to Zaiden and hug him, warmth he use to have was now filled in with sadness and disappointment. I understood how he felt but I could never thought I would have to pick someone over my best friend. "I'm sorry I had to make you choose." He said once we went outside, "I remember that time on the math test you helped me with a question." I laugh at the memory, "I was just a bit carried away on helping people." He grinned, "and that time you would tell me what animal was what because we were doing that research project on a national park." He scoffed, "its not about the past it's about the future." "Another lecture I see." I tease, "that's what you think. You either take all of the past in and think of what you couldn't changed or you could think of the future and the ways you could grow into a better person than you are." "It's like you know everything," his hands were at my waist, pulling me closer to him. "I don't, but you have taught me more about myself than I did." I could feel his breath on my neck, his eyes perked up once in a while to meet my eyes, his smile was warm with heart. "How so?" I ask, "You taught me to feel love. That's the best thing you could teach someone." His green sea eyes were soft, I placed my hand on his cheek. He placed his lips on mine, kissing me gently. A feeling of heart and hard work. We worked to together to save our friend. I felt warm on that cold windy night, the trees were swaying and the wind was sounding in my ears. Heat was radiating off of us, nothing could make me happier than that moment of my life. "I love you, Tory." "I- I do too." I stuttered.
Since we went though so much Mr. Ney decided that we should go home, considering that I'm going to court that day. Because of the crimes Bert Hironaka did and because Samantha turned 13 about three months ago, she was able to be arrested and taken into custody. The judge didn't show any mercy for the youngling, it seemed to the judge that it didn't really matter what age you are, the only thing that mattered was justice. "Mr. Ash, can you explain to me why Ms. Cerny would try to do this to students like her?" The judge asked, "Ms. Cerny didn't mean to harm her fellow friends, she just wanted them to choose the right side in trusting Mr. Hironaka." The Cerny's attorney said. "Your words of charm bring nothing to help this little girl, I hope you know that Mr. Ash. Ms. Woods would you like to come up and tell us what happened while you were at the camp?" I nod and walk over to the front of the court room. Everyone's eyes were on me at this point, there was no turning back now. "Do you swear to tell the truth and only the truth to help the court of justice find justice for you." The police came over with the book of criminal codes. "I do," I say, "Okay, Ms. Woods, can you tell us what started all of this?" "Well, Samantha Cerny was apparently in love with Mr. Zaiden Samuels and so she did absolutely anything to win him over. She would hit me at recess she would threat me into thinking that one day I will die by the hands of hers. So she would just get in trouble after trouble. All the teachers knew, and she has no respect for anyone. She can't respect the teachers, she can't respect her friends, she can't respect anyone!" I felt so much better after I said all of that information I have been holding on to, I don't remember the last time I told someone everything that has happened, "Okay, thank you Ms. Woods. Got any last words before the sentence?" "Samantha, you will never be my friend and you were never my friend." I stand up and forcefully walk back over to my seat. "Okay, Ms. Cerny would you like to come up." The judge asked, she shook her head and sat back down in her seat. I looked at all my friends testifying against Samantha, she deserves to be in jail after all she's done. "Samantha Cerny is found guilty of stalking and gang involvement. She will be sentenced to 7 months in jail." "Woah woah woah woah! My daughter isn't a part of a gang!" Mrs. Cerny argued, "Failure to accept the sentence will result in serious punishment," Samantha was taken away by the police and Bert Hironaka entered the room. Minutes of debate finally follows with the charges, this could be the moment where Bert Hironaka is taken and billions of lives will be saved or he will be released into the world endangering billions including the Queen. "Bert Hironaka is found guilty of assault, murder and attempted murder. He will be sentenced to a death sentence." I sigh with relief, Bert Hironaka will die. Billions are saved by cabin 11, "Tory Ivory Woods, you have saved billions today here in the court room." The judge smiled with approval, I went up to shake her hand and I hugged all my friends. This is a day I will be proud of forever. When I start to walk out of the room I turn my head back to face the judge and I nod my head to thank the judge. I felt accomplished, I felt important. Life never comes easily but it especially doesn't when you don't believe. The wind outside was crazy, my hair was flying with the wind. The sky was dark and the clouds were grey. Hayden ran outside into the cold day. "You did great," he patted me on the shoulder."I just wanted justice." I said, "You saved the world, Tory. Tory, I think you under estimate how strong you are." I smirk, "another lecture," I tease, he laughed, "it's the truth, and you just taught me another thing. Nothing is stronger than the truth, nothing is stronger than justice for the world." He said, "another quote, I see." "Okay, you don't have to tease me for everything I say." "I don't have to, my words don't effect you." I whispered, softly. "They don't? But you do," Hayden kissed the top of my head and pulled me in for a hug, watched the sky grow darker and darker, until there was no turning darker anymore.
