"Oh hell no!" Maryam screamed, as I opened the door. Leaves were blowing past the front door. We all stared at each other and sighed in relief. "You guys didn't actually think there was someone at the front door, did you?" Zaiden said, "it was a thought." I answered, "Tory, we lived past a nightmare. You seriously think we'll live a nightmare, again?" He reasoned. There was no point, why would someone come to my door step and do this. It's a Wednesday, there isn't any ding dong ditch at this time. Although my group did it last year for our trip. "Let's for Get about this moment for now. If it comes up again, it'll come up." I say. "Class, please turn to page 257 in your text book. While our little group of troublemakers head out into the woods for a little walk." Mrs. Hamminghood approached us like a spider she was trying to kill. "Get out, now." She hissed, I avoided her gaze. She didn't deserve my attention. The broken branches of trees snapped under my feet. "This is stupid." Hayden complained, "this is Mrs. Hamminghood's idea of punishment. What type of punishment is this!?" His foot kicked the leaves away from him, "Maybe, if you actually shut up than we could go on the freaking nature reserve trip tomorrow, Hayden." Aria rubbed her cheek. "Can we enjoy this moment while we can?" Zaiden suggested, "you think someone can enjoy a walk down a creepy trail?" Maryam's abnormal face made every laugh. Tiffany's feet stopped, "Tiff, you okay?" I ask, her eyes widened, she stuttered. "Boy! Can someone get a word out of her?" Maryam yelled, "Maryam, can you shut up?" All our eyes shifted to her, she shuffled aside. "There's someone here. They're watching us." She mumbled, "Who?" My eyes search our surroundings, there were only trees to comprehend. "Guys, we should go." Hayden took my hand. My feet stuck to the ground, the forest felt eerie. All the fresh air felt like it was leaving nothing behind, it was like it knew something was watching. We all ran, it started with speed walking and it turned into running. My eyes turned to behind us. I fell to the ground in horror. "Tory, are you okay?" They asked, a figure stood there. Staring at me coldly, it's eyes were covered, all I could see are it's glowing red eyes. My friends followed my gaze, they were all yelling and screaming. Jai and Maryam kissed each other and ran, yelling, We're sorry to us. My head shook, "We have to go." Zaiden whispered into my ear, my ears disobeyed me. I couldn't hear anything Zaiden yelled to me. "We have to go now!" He yelled, dragging me along. My head faced the figure, I studied it. I stared at it, it gave me nothing in return. My heart pounded, I blinked. It's head slowly faced down. "I think we lost it." Hayden breath, his hand gliding gently across my arm. "Tory, I think that creature was out for you." Their eyes were full of concern, "we need to protect you." Hayden nodded, "No," I let out a big breath, "We were there for each other last year, I won't let you guys protect me like a weakling." "If that's what you want." They all said at the same time. I chase after Maryam and Jai. I met them at the back doors. "What the hell are you doing?" I crossed my arms, "You would leave your friends for your freaking relationship." They froze, "We didn't mean to do it but...." jai mumbled, "Everyone knows the relationship won't last. People talk about it everyday. So cut the bullshit." "Tory, I'm sorry that you feel that way but We're gonna stay together forever." Maryam said, "Stop the act." They stared at me, "if you feel that way then we'll prove you wrong." Her chin perked up and she kicked my shoes. Anger was boiling inside of me, my stomach churned and I didn't care anymore. They could go off and get drunk and die. If they weren't there for my friends and their friends, they aren't worth it. Last year I decided to stay friends with Maryam. After she betrayed me and Hayden, I forgave her. I can't take it anymore, she rubs her relationship in everyone's faces. I swing the door open, I could see Maryam and Jai kissing near the gym. I kick the door near them and stumble up the stairs. My foot hurt from the hard metal door. I fumbled up the stairs, holding onto the railing. My tears were running down to my neck. Walking the long way to my class. "Someone's been crying!" Jack teased, "Jack, Can you ever shut up?" I sniff, he stuttered to talk and watched. Hayden, Zaiden, Tiffany and Aria were still walking up the stairs while I sat down at my desk. "Where's the rest of your group?" Mrs. Hamminghood asked, "They're still walking back," I murmured, as the walked in, "where's those two, Kai and Mary?" "They're.... kissing." I gulped, "If they don't come up in five minutes, they aren't going to the trip tomorrow. $175 wasted, suck up those tears!" She demanded. I wiped them away quickly, my eyes were still glossy. "Found these two in the hallway." A teacher came up with Maryam and Jai in their hands. "They were kissing." Everyone stopped what they were doing, one person pounded on their desk and another exited the room without another word. "I want you two to meet me tomorrow in my class." "Ooooh! What the hell were you guys doing?" Jack said, "In the name of Burgress! Jack stop!" Mrs. Hamminghood ordered, "I agree." A few students said, "B-But we have a trip tomorrow!" Maryam glared at the teacher with mad eyes. "You already wake up so early in the morning, I hope your parents will be able to drive you." She struts off back to her class. "Speaking of the Trip, what camp are we going to?" "We are going to Camp Lissbound Lake. Best be on your best behaviour." I scream followed, after Mrs. Hamminghood said best behaviour. The black figure stood there behind the classroom window, staring closely at the class. And most like me.
