CHAPTER FIVE
"Well, well, well. Look who's awake." A voice boomed from behind me. I couldn't move but I could flex my fingers. I was vulnerable and blindfolded. "Who are you?" My voice quivered, "you don't know me, Tory. I sure know you." Footsteps we're walking towards me, I could only imagine what the hell this guy looks like. "Your friends are looking for you, let's hope they don't fall into the same trap as you did. Lost and sad and scared. Should've stayed with your boyfriend Hayden. He only has so long until he moves." It continued, "whoever you are, stop it." My eyes started to water. "Don't worry, Tory. I won't hurt you. I'm gonna kill you."
Maryam's POV
"You sure didn't just go to the local McDonald's?" I asked as everyone glared at me with distrust. "What?" I asked again, "if it weren't for you nothing would've happened." Aria said, trying to stay calm. "But I didn't even do anything!" I rolled my eyes, "right, jai?" He turned his head to me, "no, you definitely did something." He answered, "Why the hell is everyone against me?!" Hayden was the only one that didn't say anything throughout this whole argument. I mean, I do hate him because he's annoying and he doesn't believe in my gosh dang relationship! But maybe he changed. He's changed a lot, he usually has strong opinions. I could tell something was bothering him but why the fuck would I care? "You basically ditched us!" Aria yelled, blood flowing to her face as it became red. Did I care? No. Why the hell would I care for these bitches? I know we've been through some shit but honestly. I was trying to stay away from the danger, even if it meant risking other peoples lives. And now, Tory is gone. So? What's the deal? She's probably alive somewhere. Why would she be dead? She's smart enough to find a way back if she did get kidnapped. "And yet, you act like it's no big deal!" Slamming her fists into the table, everyone's eyes was on me, watching me like lasers. "Guys, lets just stop fighting, it's no use. It wouldn't help us get Tory back." Zaiden stepped in. The peacemaker is back. The boys have been more quiet then usual, more emotionless then usual. But that's a good thing since I don't have to argue with even more people. I know what they think of me, I'm not stupid. They think I'm a delusional, annoying ass. "C'mon Guys, if we want to find, Tory we need to stick together." He said again, "not like I'm gonna work with these gossip asses that talk shit about me." I talked back, I don't care what they think of me anymore. Tory was my friend. She was my friend until she got mad at me for not sticking together. She can't just expect me to make friends with everyone. "Can you stop making assumptions?!" Hayden spoke up, finally another one bites my ass. "What assumptions?" I questioned, "Assumptions that we talk crap about you! If you actually acknowledged the fact that we're actually here to get your freaking help, then maybe you would show some god damn respect!" "I'm done with your stupid argument! Jai, lets go." I stood up, grabbing Jai's hand. He didn't move. "Jai, I said let's go." I sigh, "Maryam, I need to talk to you, in private." Those words made my heart jump, what did me mean by that? What was he trying to say? "What?" I crossed my arms as we stood outside, "Maryam, you know. I really like you and everything but, you're so hostile to our group. We are done." He finished, "what?! Did they tell you to do this?" "No, but I think it's for the better." He said, "what the hell! Fine, you'll come running back. Maybe."
