Romanian Word Guide:
Recleta: Doctor
Fie ca voi gasi bucurie doamna echitabil: May joy find you, fair lady.
------------------------------------------
No matter how many times I called myself a monster, Thor quickly disagreed and reassured me of my humanity. From what Sam was saying, I was apparently suffering from something called Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, but I didn't understand it. The things I'd seen had been too real. Not even my own memories had been that sharp.

Despite everyone's reassurances, I could sense they're unease around me. Vision especially couldn't help it. No matter how hard he resisted, it seemed that he was programmed to avoid danger. Considering I had been the one to strike him, I was now that danger.

The thought hurt me, and so I took to shutting myself in my room. I only allowed Thor to enter, and whenever he did, he called me his sister and would smile and make me laugh. Before he left, he'd always remind me of our approaching trip to Asgard.

According to his last  visit, we were leaving tomorrow, and that had been yesterday.

In Sikovia, I'd been to see a recleta very few times, but whenever I did, I'd felt vulnerable, like something to be picked apart and examined. Being experimented on by Hydra had felt the same, just more painful. But going to Asgard? This trip was going to combine all my fears and vulnerabilities.

All too soon, I heard a knock on my door. Having made no move to answer it, my caller opened the door and stepped inside. A wide smile shone on Thor's face, but when he saw that my expression didn't mirror his, he quickly dropped it and settled for a gentle grin.

"How are you feeling today, Wanda?"

It seemed like nowadays all of our conversations started with that same question. Like always, I replied, saying that I was fine. Tired.

"Are you all packed up?"

Nodding, I stood and slung a backpack over my shoulder.

"You don't have to do this," Thor said, apparently sensing my apprehension, "This is your decision."

"Don't you see?" I sighed, "I have to do this. I have to learn a way to control it so I don't hurt anyone ever again."

"Wanda, Vision is recovering fine--"

"He is afraid of me."

"He just needs a little time--"

"I've heard everyone talking, so don't think I haven't," I snapped, "They are afraid of me and what I'll do next."

Sighing, Thor pulled me into a tight embrace. "I am not afraid."

Savoring the safety of his arms, I smiled, if ever so swiftly. Separating, I looked him in the eye.

"I'm ready."

The day was sharp and cool as Thor and I stepped outside, but that was the last thing on my mind. Standing around us were the rest of the Avengers who had come to say there farewells.

"How long will you be gone?" Clint asked, his arms crossed.

"I'm uncertain," Thor admitted, and I stiffened.

"I'm sure you'll do great," Clint quickly followed up, "Once you've gotten a handle on those powers of yours, you'll be back down here in no time."

"Thank you, Clint," I whispered.

"Wanda," Cap spoke up, "We'll always be here for you, no matter what happens."

From where he stood beside Natasha, Tony began to grumble about broken ceilings and expenses, but these complaints were quickly silenced by a jab from the woman beside him. Grimacing in pain, Tony smirked at me. "Send me a postcard," he jested.

"Go get 'em, girl," Natasha said and smiled sadly, "I know that if Bruce was here, he'd wish you the best of luck."

At this, everyone fell silent.

To my surprise, it was the Vision who spoke up first, and I was even more surprised by what he said.

"I downloaded the Romanian language last night," he announced, "But I have yet to put it into practice, so forgive me if I am incorrect."

Taking a deep breath, Vision began to speak in my native tongue, all the while carefully pronouncing each word:

"Fie ca voi gasi bucurie doamna echitabil."

At his words, tears sprang to my eyes, and, noticing them, Vision froze. "I'm sorry, did I say something wrong?"

"No," I said and smiled, "Not at all."

Relieved, the Vision smiled back. We did not embrace, as we might've done several days ago, but for now, words were enough. Perhaps, when I returned from Asgard, the Vision would be comfortable around me again.

"Hold onto me, Wanda," Thor instructed as he raised his hammer to the sky, and I quickly obeyed.

"So, um, what did he say?" Tony asked Natasha before I was whisked away. Instead of an answer, he received another quick jab to the ribs.
