Chapter 4
The next day ~
I arrived twenty minutes earlier for school to first stop by the heads office to get a brief talk from them about my one-week suspension from school due to my behaviour, which in that case. It's not really ruled out quickly which category it goes too. As it's pretty complicated to know how I burn Goldman collar despite multiple videos being taken clearly.
Second, is to avoid stares and gossips when stepping into the school hall to retrieve my things for the day. As videos have circulated around the school communities the last thing I wanted is people giving me looks when I enter the school, or teachers fixing their eyes on me wherever I go.
As usual, I tag my hands into the school jacket and my bag slang on one shoulder. I make my way casually to the heads office to be only greeted by none other than Tommy Goldman who has just exited from the office.
I stop on my track as he comes out. We stared at each other for a second or so before I sigh and tell him I need to meet the heads too.
"Uhm... I have to meet the heads, it will be nice if you move."
"Ya! Thanks to you I have a two month suspension from school. Now my dad is going to know what I did in school and he is going to ground me for the rest of the summer! All thanks to you!" He exclaimed towards me in a loud tone.
I gave him a questionable look, wondering how he got a two months suspension despite all evidence of the trouble pointing towards me.
"Well. I hope to never see you again. Traitor." He scoffed and bumped my shoulder purposely before heading to his class.
I ignored his action, and entered the office immediately.
"Are you Cassidy Frankston?" The lady by the counter asked.
"Yes madam." I confirmed my name to her.
"Come with me then. I would bring you to the heads." She said.
I followed her towards the head office in a silent manner.

I set my tray down after Albrix set his down. Turning to him, unexpectedly the both of us were having different questions to ask at the same time.
"How did—
"Why does—
"Ah.. you go first."
"Is alright, you go first."
"I guess mine isn't too urgent so...—
"So Cass, how's the talk with your parents go?" Miller asked me. Beating both of us first.
"Kind of smooth. But the story is long. I will explain it to you later." I told her.
"What do you want to ask me?" I turned to Albrix and asked.
"Same question as Cass." Nodding towards her.
I give them an 'oh' and set down to eat.
"Just wanna to ask. How did Goldman get two months of suspension despite me being the one that nearly hurt him." I ask them.
The both of them stop eating and immediately throw me a look.
"What? Don't look at me like that. I seriously have no idea how did he—"
"Wait, you don't know the big drama?" Miller dramatically gasps.
"Ya. Of course not. I was talking to my parents yesterday... I did check the texts at the chats. There are too many videos so I'm too lazy to check it out." I half snapped. Literally having no idea what's going on.
"Then you should really check it out. Is soooo interesting Cassidy." Albrix grin mischievously at me.
"But what's that all about actually?" I question again. Rather confused and curious about what's the big gossip I have missed out.
"So basically... after you kind of ah scared Goldman off... There are several videos circulating around the school community about the whole interaction between us and his gang of friends." Miller explained.
"Some students around the chats actually said that he deserved it. And... eh.. there is another group of students that kind of exposed him." She explained.
"To explain this situation clearer. Several students actually came out and said that he always picks on the school nerds or the defenseless ones. Some even say he always chooses to bully them during break-time, and cause a few to miss their breaks over the bullies. To explain why, he just wants them to starve and see them suffer." She ended.
"I heard from a few of my friends, he will not only bully them. But also make them do his homework for him, or he will just walk by and take the food tray away from his prey." Albrix included.
"Isn't that like... a psychological issue? Cos an average person won't just love seeing somebody suffer?" I give my side of opinion.
"Well I don't know. He comes from a well-off family, and eh his dad kind of works in a firm or something. So... the school can't do much, maybe." Miller shrugged.
"Didn't they like give him sessions with the school psychologist team?" I ask a bit more.
"A friend of mine said they tried. But damn his parents totally are sooo against it. She says she overheard their conversation with his class teacher when she met another teacher to discuss on some school work once." filling me in on more sources about Goldman situation.
"Eh...ah...so... how many students actually speak up about him?" Gathering more information from them.
"Ten or more... I'm not sure. Probably 15?" She answered, trying to count out the correct numbers.
"30! Probably more than that." Albrix added.
"That's a lot?" I shockingly remark.
"Not a surprise. He's been in this school as long as us." Albrix dismissed my words.
"Wait? So how did the heads find out?" I ask, trying to piece the puzzle together. Wondering how did it got into the adults hands despite it's only been circulated among the students communities
"A student accidentally forwarded one of the videos to a class chat, and a teacher found out, and they immediately sought an explanation from that certain student. That's how they found out." Albrix concluded.
After a moment of seeking all the information in, I resume eating my lunch.
We finished our lunch on time, just as the bell rang mere seconds later.
We made a final conversation and decides to meet up together later after school for some drinks before heading home.
