We rowed over to the shore as we got out of the barrels

"Kili!" I whispered as me and Fili ran over

"He needs binding!" Fili yelled

"We have to keep moving."

"If we don't bind his leg it's going to get worse. Just give us five minutes." I pleaded

"Two minutes." Thorin concluded as me and Fili bonded his leg as best as we could. I felt a shadow over me as I froze.

"Fili." I said lowly "something is here I can feel it."

Sure enough Bard the Bowman stood with his bow armed at Kili. Some dwarves attempted to attack to no avail.

"Do it again, and your dead."

"Excuse me but I believe your from Laketown i I'm not mistaken. " Balin put in.

Then they began to make a deal with the bowman as we got on his boat.and began to take out all our money.

"We're two payments short."

"Here." I tossed my sack of money. "Is this enough?"

"Welcome aboard." He shot me a smile. We began to row as Bard muttered for us to get in the barrels again.

"I am not getting in those barrels again!" Dwalin said getting angry

"If you value your freedom do as I say. There are guards ahead."

As I was about to get in Bard pulled me back.

"Not you-"

"That's my fiancé your ordering about!" Fili snapped sassily

"I need your theatrical performance abilities."

"I suck at theatre."

"Just pretend to be my fiancé!"

"WHAT???" Fili roared as he struggled to get out but to no avail.

"If you want these guards to put your friends in prison then be my guest."

The dwarves looked at me expectantly as I nodded "Fine. "

He smirked "are you ready?" I nodded as he wrapped his arms around my waist causing growls from Fili who was bright red with rage.

"Your going to blow our cover!" I hissed as I turned around to see the guard a few meters away.

"Hello Bard. Who's the lovely lady of yours? " The guard asked with a raised eyebrow.

"This. Is my fiancé." Bard smirked as he held up my finger that had the ring on it.

"Bless my beard Bard where did you steal the ring?"

"It wasn't stolen. You see I come from a wealthy family. But I wasn't happy with my life so I decided to travel. I came across some trolls-"

"Trolls? We don't have any trolls here!"

"It's.... Very.... Far away...." I waved my other free hand in the opposite direction "so I escaped the trolls found some gold found this ring and decided to keep it. I ran across Bard on the other side of the lake and we did a long distance relationship ever since. " I lied quite coolly.

"We decided to use this ring as a symbol of our love." Bard smiled "she's the jewel to my heart."

"Alright go on." The guard "see you another time my lady. "

"Not so fast." A dark grim figure appeared "these barrels are from the Mirkwood realm. They do wine not fish. Empty the barrels!"

"You can't empty the barrels!" I shouted as Alfrid noticed me for the first time.

"Who are you to question my orders? Who's the lady?"

"I happen to be bards fiancé."

"Ha! Preposterous! How can you marry him?"

"That's my fiancé your talking about!" Bards eyes grew darker

"You don't believe me? Well why don't you call up the King of Mirkwood himself? What will happen then when the fish are free and the people are starving? You will have made enemies with the people and with the King of Mirkwood. And you will be blamed. So I suggest you don't empty the barrels." I said fiercely as Alfrids eyes widened

"Let them through."

"That was quite well done." Bard muttered "keep smiling. The people are watching. "

"You were quite poetic. The jewel to my heart?" I giggled

"Something had to sell." He smiled as he helped me off "my lady?"

I went up were three children awaited. The. The dwarves soon began to come out of the toilet as I took screenshots with my iPod.

"Val." Fili smiled in relief "he didn't hurt you did he?" He shot glared towards Bard.

"Relax sunshine nothing happened. " I smiled as I hugged him. Now we just needed a new plan......
