VAL POV.

I was shaken awake as a grinning Fili stared up

"What? It's the middle of the nightttt." I whined

"Get your lazy but out of bed were leaving in an hour. "

"Uhhh five more minutttessss." I rolled over. Suddenly I was scooped up by Fili as we headed for the bathroom.

"Fili what are you doing? FILI DONT YOU DARE THROW ME IN COLD WATER!" I screeched

"Too late." He smirked as he tried to dunk me in the big tub as I clung on.

"If I go Down you come with me!" I hissed

"Nope!" As he broke free and I fell in the water. Ice cold water. Fili laid some clothes and soap

"Come on now we wouldn't want to dawdle now would we? " He smirked and pranced out as I growled.

As soon as I was warm dry I combed my hair braided it strapped on my weapons and headed towards the dining hall. The dwarves snickered at me.

"Sorry love." Fili smiled as he walked beside me. "Enjoy your bath?"

I decided I was going to give him the cold treatment as his punishment.

"Oh come on love don't be mean." Fili tried to convince me as I ignored him. I was still mad. I moved over to Thorin as he gave me a questionable look

"Did he do something wrong?"

"He dumped me in the bathtub in ICE cold water."

He winced "well that's lovely. How are you getting revenge?"

"I'm giving him the cold shoulder."

"I think that's suitable." He gave me a grin. "Keep it up till lunch."

"Wait.... You want me to get revenge?" I asked incredulously

"Yes. "He smiled as he moved towards Dwalin to discuss plans. All through the morning Fili tried to coax me out of it. When we stopped for lunch he sat down next to me and immediately tried to make me forgive him.

"Val I'm truly sorry for what I have done. I'll do anything!" Fili pleaded with his puppy dog eyes that I couldn't resist.

"You are forgiven. " I said as I kissed him as he kissed back. "Just tell me to get up and shake me harder next time."

"Alright." He smiled as he hugged me.

We journeyed on to the Rocky Mountains as its started to pour. Suddenly the rocks started to move.

"Bless me the legends are true! GIANTS STORM GIANTS!" Bofur yelled as we shifted and ran into the Giants knee. I was with Kili as the rocks started to move apart. The three of us all looked panicky.
"JUMP!" Thorin roared as we made it all together.

"Where's Bilbo! Where's Valencia!" Bofur looked around as they saw me dangling and gripping for dear life. Thorin grabbed bilbo as he sidled over to me a bit above me.

"Grab my hand!"

"I can't!"

"Don't you dare let go! "

"I'm afraid." I whispered so only he could hear

"Please please please for all of middle earth just trust me!"

I struggled up as I climbed up little by little as I soon was lifted by Thorin and Dwalin.

"Thank you." I said shaking

"Your welcome." Thorin patted my back as we went inside the cave

Fili embraced Kili in a tight bear hug and saw me coming in.

"Val! Are you ok! Are you hurt?"

"Fine just a. Bit shaken . I shivered as he bear hugged me.
"Don't ever scare me like that again."

"I'll try harder " I smiled weakly as we soon fell into a dreamless sleep
