Val's dream

I had gone for a swim that day in the lake with my two sisters

"Valencia come get us! "

"You know what's in there! Don't go in there! " I yell

"Come and get us!" They're five year old self yelled

They suddenly were dragged under by a minders leg.

My breathing accelerated as i dove in. I swam to the bottom and retrieved them both. I put them down on the bank as the leg wrapped around my ankle. I made a move to scream but swallowed a mouthful of water. I mentally screamed help! Save me! I struggled as it got tighter and tighter

"VALENCIA!" Someone shook me "VALENCIA."

My eyes shot open as I saw Fili looking very worried.

"You were crying in your sleep." He stroked my hair "what happened?"

I felt my cheeks as there was a wetness. "I-I" my hands shook. "I had a dream that I was being drowned by a sea monster. And I had to save my sisters. But I don't have any sisters. And I couldn't save them." I began to cry as Fili held me

"It's just a dream." he whispered

"It felt so real."

"I know but it wasn't for if it were real I would save you." Fili pecked my mouth. "Get some sleep love I'll be right here."

So I fell asleep dreamlessly with Fili by my side

Later in the night there was a creak as Fili's arm tightened. But then losened.

"What are you doing in here?" Thorin asked

"She had a nightmare." Fili whispered "I decided to stay with her. "

Thorin came and stood by Fili "I think she will be a fine queen."

"If she accepts and If we make it home alive. "

"I think you should propose soon." Thorin advised

"I just got her. What if she says no? And wants to go home?"

"You did tell her right?"

"Yea"

"And?" Thorin raised a brow

"She loves me too." Fili grinned

"Well I think if she loves you. She'll go wherever you go." Thorin grinned "I'm proud of you."

"Thank you."

"We'll be leaving in a few hours so I suggest you awaken her in a bit." Thorin began to head for the door. "

"For someone who's never been in love before you give great advice." Fili blurted

"I was in love once. I still am."

"I'm sorry-"

"No worries. Take care of her Fili.

As soon as he was gone i processed everything. Thorin was right. If he proposed I would say yes.
