Welcome and thanks for agreeing to talk to us today.

I'm the one who should be thanking you for inviting me to this interview though. It's really been a trying couple of days. I've also been on the receiving end of a lot of "Hn"s and one-sentence answers lately. So a chance to talk to someone with who I can have an actual conversation is such a pleasure. Sadly, I can't stay long though. Is that okay? I have a degenerate to go back to after this interview. Hopefully, he's still there where I left him when I sneak back into the last scene of Chapter 16F. Hmph.

Well thanks for stopping by. Can I get you something to drink? Water? Soda? Coffee? Wine? Whiskey?

I'll have hazelnut coffee please if you have it. Thanks for offering, by the way. It's really kind of you. You should also get some refreshments for yourself since we'll be talking for a while.

I've got myself a water thank you. So let's get going. Tell me a little about yourself?

Uhh. Okay. It seems like a broad question though. But I'll try my best to answer. My name is Minako. I consider myself to be a positive, friendly person but I can also be a little sarcastic and dramatic. It's pretty easy for me to make friends and I have a lot of them. But I'm really a private person, to be honest. Aside from my dad and my uncle, I only keep two friends Karui and Omoi close to me. They're my childhood best friends. You should interview them too. They're talented and fantastic people who should get more recognition.

Where do you live?

Kumogakure. Specifically, I live in the Raikage's Mansion. You can't miss it. It's one of the top places to see when you're in Kumogakure. People like visiting and taking pictures beside the South Gate and walking along the mansion's outdoor garden.

The gardens inside the mansion are more majestic though. But it's off-limits to visitors since it's already within the private residence. But you know what? Since you've been so nice, I'll give you a grand tour so you can see it. Once I've sorted out my issues, that is.

That sounds wonderful. Do you have any jobs or hobbies? 

I'm an Operations Agent of the Kumogakure Intelligence and Stealth Unit by profession. I usually go under convert missions with a team for the sake of furthering Kumogakure and Land of Lightning's interests. I'm also the Proxy Consort of the Fourth Raikage. I assumed that role since my mom passed away and could no longer perform her public duties. I try to help out my dad as much as I can to make his burden of ruling Kumogakure lighter.

My hobbies. Hmm... is shopping a hobby? I like shopping for clothes, shoes, and make up. But I love collecting different shades of lipstick the most. I believe a woman can never have too many lipsticks.

Shopping is absolutely a hobby in my opinion. What are some of your likes and dislikes?

My likes are hanging out with my friends, spending time with my uncle and my dad, shopping, going to the salon and spa, listening and writing music, taking long showers, and relaxing luxurious bubble baths.

My dislikes are rude people, bad manners, getting hit on by sleazy men, ugly clothes, bad smells, and having my personal space invaded without consent.

What is your greatest fear?

It would have to be if my loved ones are being harmed and I couldn't do anything to save them.

If you could change one thing about your life, what would it be?

I'd like to remember a certain incident so I can figure out what happened to me.

Oh that must be distressing. Are you happy we know your story?

Yeah. My story isn't popular at all. So I was surprised. Thanks, @lisa_london_ for nominating me as your favorite character in Until There Was You. I hope you continue being your awesome self! Artemis tells me that your comments have been really helpful to her.

Do you like to cook?

I don't know how to cook. Most of my attempts have either resulted in a kitchen fire or an explosion. I just don't have it in me to cook on a stovetop and do it well. I can make ridiculously tasty salads and fruit smoothies though.

My best friends are so much better at those kinds of things than I will ever be. Omoi is a stress baker who makes the most delicious sourdough loaves. Karui is known for making the best barbeque skewers in Kumogakure. She even won a blue ribbon in a fair for it.

Good for her! Do you exercise or are you a couch potato?

Given the chance, I'd be a couch potato. I exercise enough to keep up myself in good shape and to keep up with my training. But I won't do it willingly. If I had a free day, the gym would not be my go-to place. I'd rather go shopping or go to the salon. That's the kind of exercise I don't mind doing. 

Who's your favorite person in the world?

My dad. Hands down. I've always been a Daddy's girl. I love my mom, too, but I always connected to my dad more. Growing up, he was loads of fun. Even now, he's great company -- that is if he's not in work mode.

Despite being busy, he always made time for me no matter what. He taught me a lot of things about life and about people. He's not perfect though. But to me, he's the best father that anyone could have.

Currently, we're not on good terms. Things have been said that we can't take back. But, I will always love him to pieces. My life would be unbearable without him.

Hopefully you can find some common ground. Do you see yourself getting back together with your ex-boyfriend?

I...I don't know. We were together for almost two years. That kind of love doesn't go away but... being together. It's difficult. Lots of things need to be considered. Can we please skip this question? I feel uncomfortable.

Of course, lets move on. Can you say 3 good things about Sasuke?

I...umm. Gosh, that's hard. Uhh. I mean. Three things? That's a lot. Just thinking of one is hard enough. Does it really have to be three? Can it be three bad things about him instead? No? Damn it. Uhh. Let's see...

One is... well, he is skilled. He's an insanely talented shinobi. Just a while ago, he did something that I've never seen anyone else do. Then again, he used his skills to do a lot of bad things.

Two is... he's thoughtful in his own way. He's considerate of people he travels with. But of course, he says the rudest things when he opens his mouth. He has the worst manners too.

Three is... he's not ugly. I mean, the way he dresses is appalling. He wears this navy-colored head sash like some freakin' genie. Don't get me started on his shoes and that oat-colored poncho of his. He's a fashion eyesore. That said, he has a good face and his shirt hangs on his body really well because he has an athletic physique. If you clean him up, I can see how some women might even find him very attractive. I totally wouldn't be drawn to him though. No chance of that ever happening to me at all.

Is there anything you want to say to your fans?

Thanks for the support. I didn't know I had fans. I'm an average kunoichi. So I thought people wouldn't want to check out my story because of it. I've heard there are other stories of kunoichis out there that are crazy powerful. So I didn't think I'd ever get fans.

Anyhow, thanks for stopping by and reading my story. I hope you like the chapters so far.

Can we look forward to reading more of your story?

Yes, of course. But Artemis, the author of the book, is quite busy so it might take a while. She tells me that my story will be a really good one. I trust her but she always keeps on putting me into difficult positions. Also, she won't answer me clearly why Sasuke Uchiha has to be in my story. Why him out of all people? I often ask Artemis how many chapters I have to endure until I'm finally rid of that sullen degenerate. But she just smiles at me and sniggers. What's that supposed to mean? Do you know?
