DIRECTOR: LIGHTS, CAMERA ACTION!
Assalam o Alaikum and hello friends and fans!!
I'm your host and dost Kounj Muzafar looking hot as hell right here. And today we have another honorable and lovely Author and winner of a Freedom Award JasmanianDevil27
Thank you so much for agreeing to this interview. You have a really beautiful name.
So I will start usual question...
Tell us a little something special about yourself and your background?
I love nature, writing, and hanging out with my friends. I'm as weird as they come, and am always looking for food. I do a lot of random things, especially when I'm with my friends. They're my caffeine.
What's your age, your date of birth and zodiac sign?
I was born in the year of the snake, watch out rabbits!
Which genre did your winner book belong to? What draws you to this genre?
While my story is about werewolves, I put it in the Adventure genre because it is not your typical werewolf story. Crystal, the main character, is in synce with nature as much as the rest of her pack. She gets to live a life entwined with nature just like I've always dreamed of. However, nothing in life ever goes as we want it to, and this story is no different.
What do people hate the most about you?
I honestly don't know. During truth or dare, my friend had to answer that question about me, and she had to think for a while but she answered it with my craziness. I don't think she greatly disliked that about me and I took absolutely no offense (we may or may not have started laughing 30 seconds later) but she also didn't know me well yet.
What's the most strangest thing you have done?
I palpated a cow. Translation. I stuck my hand up a cow's butt to see if it had a calf... Hmm, maybe that was a little too weird...
Do you ever get writer's Block? Give one tip on how to get through the dreaded writer's block? *
ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! ALL I EVER HAVE IS WRITER'S BLOCK!!! My biggest problem is I always want to be writing a different part of the story, but I write the scenes in order, so I have all the details straight.
I set a deadline for a specific chapter and typically just force myself to write through it, even if it takes forever and it's really boring, then I come back a day or two later and revise and edit. I also find that stopping and going outside for fresh air helps me think.
How do you react to negative comments?
Luckily I haven't had any so far (my readers are awesome). I'm always looking for constructive criticism, but if someone were being downright mean and giving me absolutely no help to improve, I would probably start arguing with them, but throughout the argument I'd keep throwing random phrases in and occasionally complement them to confuse their little brains. I'm sure there'd be a few insults like "you brucellosis infested, dung eat'n, rodent licking, yellow bellied, tuna bath'n, toe sucking, son of a zebra".
I can't tell you how many times I was arguing with someone online and then turned it into a pleasant conversation... I don't really know how I do it, I just go with the flow 😂
Which person would you like to meet from WP and why? Tag them.
gzababany14 I hope I spelled your username right 😶 I want to meet you because I feel like you're a friend, even though I've never met you. I still want to hug you by the way. I know I can count on you to support me and I hope you know that you can count on me to *Count On Me by Bruno Mars starts playing in the background*
You can count on me, like 123 and I can count on you, like 432! *continues singing entire song in extremely off key voice*
Who are your favorite authors?
zerowinethirty (you're probably sick of me tagging you to things like this all the time 😅) , JK Rowling, Christopher Paolini, and Brandon Mull. there's definitely more wattpad authors, I just don't remember their usernames.
What do your family say about your writing?
Sibling: "oh, look at me, I'm JasmanianDevil27, And I'm writing a story!" *dances around my room like the idiot they are while I'm trying to read*
Parent: "stop writing and do your work!"
Friend: "what?! You have over 1,000 views?!"
We all know which one I prefer.
Favourite Quote –
"Watch your thoughts, they become words. Watch your words, they become actions. Watch your actions, they become habits. Watch your habits, it becomes character. Watch your character, it becomes your destiny." -Taz Lazoli(?)
Places you want to visit –
... Ireland
Are you a good liar? Tell a lie.
I don't know if I am. Finding volumes of really complex figures is SSSOOOOOO boring.
What's one thing people love the most about you?
Again, I don't know, I'm not other people. I'd say my optimism.
What makes you really mad? Name one pet peeve
When someone makes a grammar error in a book and I can't fix it.
What do you think about IEscapist?
I don't know much about her, but she seems pretty cool.
Any insane wish? Name one.
Find out what it'd feel like to eat a jelly donut while skydiving.
Are you living the life you really want to live?
Eh, I'm doing the best I can. Like I've already said, if it were up to me, I'd be fighting pirates in NeverLand.
Relationship status?
Single as a pineapple (that's an inside joke with myself)
Best thing about being YOU?
No one truly understands my thoughts. I can be unreasonably happy for no reason... At least that's what others think. I mentally connect things in good ways to create stories, jokes, plans, hopes, and dreams. I keep myself entertained for hours doing this, I often find my brain to be even more fun then watching White Collar or Criminal Minds.
I'll try to stop being cheesy now... Yum, cheese
Is being a writer a gift or a curse?
It's both. It's a curse because there are so many books I want to write, but I'll never have time. But it's a gift because I get to share some of my stories and also explore them in depth
You only get 3 words to describe yourself – what are they?
Weird, goofy... Foooooood
Do you work to an outline or plot or do you prefer just see where an idea takes you?
I have a mental plot, but I started off not having a clue where I was going with my story Fighting a Legend. I change the story all the time, making it better with each change. What has been written so far, is just the beginning.
What do you think about The Freedom Awards? Would you like to suggest something to better it next time?
Take out the required answers, I try to keep identifiable information out so making my age a required thing really messes me up.
How do you feel about winning a Freedom Award?
I was so surprised, I for some reason didn't get notified (my notifications are messed up). I was just trying to see who won,and then I realized I came in second 😂
Any Message for the people of Wattpad?
You are the ones who make wattpad what it is. What you put out, is what you get back. I can't tell you how important it is to me when I see that my book got comments, it honestly can change my life because I want to be an author. I won't back down if I get criticism, but I, will step up. If you read a book, and a scene makes you roll off your bed laughing, tell the author!
Here we will end this interview. Thank you so much JasmanianDevil27 again for joining us today and I hope you had as much fun as we did.
So Audience I hope you guys enjoyed this too, please let me know your views and comment on our author's answers.
INLINE COMMENTS WILL BE SO MUCH FUN.
