Tell us a little something special about yourself and your background?

IMMA HUFFLEPUFF!! 🙃🙃 Nahh but in all seriousness, I ain't really that interesting. 🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️ Well, I guess I should say more.... uhhhh, I'm full Aussie 🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺I was born and raised in the suburbs, but imma country gal at heart, I break my bones way more often than I should, I'm completely obsessed with reading and writing (although, aren't we all?) oh and I also love singing, but I can't do art to save my life so....

Which genre did your winner book belong to? What draws you to this genre?

Werewolf. I'm drawn to this genre because I love how it explores the concept of people having multiple sides, and in some cases, multiple personalities. Majority of the werewolf books that you read express important factors, like acceptance, finding one's self, and coming together as a group, just to name a few. Besides, werewolf guys are hawt! 😜

What do people hate the most about you?

Uhh, I'm not sure to be honest. I mean, I guess I can be pretty annoying, and I try to always have the final say in things, but I dunno. Although, I do this thing where I quote movies, books, or tv shows, but I don't tell anyone that I'm doing it, so when I end up laughing really hard at their cluelessness, they tend to get pretty pissed off at me...... oops? 🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️

What's the most strangest thing you have done?

I haven't really done anything that strange, to be honestly. I mean, I've done some pretty stupid things, but not really anything that strange. Sorry to those people hoping to get a laugh out of this one, I really don't know what to say. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Do you ever get writer's Block? Give one tip on how to get through the dreaded writer's block?

YES! I actually get it quite a bit. What I tend to do is go back over my prep notes, and read the entire book from start to finish. I then imagine I'm the reader, and I picture what I want to happen next, and I then write that, letting my imagination take it over. However, this doesn't always work, and in those cases I try to relax, even meditate a little, just to clear my mind, and that generally helps me to get back in the swing of writing.

How do you react to negative comments?

Well, I like to think that I react well, I'm the fact that I try to find the feedback or positive part of the comment, but I have to admit that sometimes I can get really hurt by them.

Which person would you like to meet from WP and why? Tag them.

Well, that's actually a lot. I'd love to meet everyone who has supported me throughout writing both of my books, especially people like nj_rod , weaver_of_tales , crayever , hunderstroms03 , and Queen_Jamillia , but I'd also love to meet some of the amazing authors whose stories I've fallen in love with, like, never_ending_writing , Midika , and chibz_love

I'm saying that though, I'd love to meet everyone from Wattpad!

What does your family say about your writing?

Uhhh, they don't know. *crickets chirping* No, but in all seriousness, writing is something that I've kept to myself, apart from a couple of my friends who've figured it out. However, in saying that, I'm sure that if my family did know, they'd be supportive of me, just like they are for everything else that I do.

Are you a good liar? Tell a lie.

Im not really sure to be honest. I mean, I know I can keep a secret for a very long time, the longest I've kept one is roughly six years and counting, but I guess I'll give it a crack. I can speak multiple languages, but I'm only fluent in sarcasm. Oh wow, that was more like trying to be bitchy. 😂😂 Well, I guess there the answer. I'd probably be good at lying if I was given something to lie about, but I honestly couldn't think of anything. 😂😂

What kinda person are you?

I like to think that I'm brave, intelligent, but above all, kind to everyone.

What's one thing people love the most about you?

Well I've been told by different people that my kindness is what draws them to me, but I'm not entirely sure on that.

Hobbies besides writing?

Reading, singing, swimming, playing netball and hockey, and hanging out with my friends.

What makes you really mad? Name one pet peeve

People purposely hurting others by lying, cheating, violence, bullying, or pretending to be someone that they're not. It really irks me to know that these people know exact,y what they're doing and who they're hurting, but they don't care, and they do it anyway.

What do you think about IEscapist?

Uhhh, *nervous laughter while trying to think of what to say* No, but in all seriousness, I think you're a really cool person, and an amazing writer. (And no I'm not saying that to be a suck up, I actually think that). I really like your book 'When Silver Met Gold' and I feel like you would make it big in the writing industry if you publish your books in physical copies. Keep up the amazing work! 👍🏻👍🏻

Any insane wish? Name one.

Well, I want to be a paramedic and a writer when I grow up, because I want to help people and to bring them happiness. I guess my most insane but strongest wish and hope in the whole world, is for everyone to be happy, and for no one to be hurting. I know it sounds crazy, but that's my wish.

Are you living the life you really want to live?

Not yet, but I hope and pray with all my heart that I'm on my way to getting there. *fingers crossed*

What question do you ask yourself a lot?

Wether I'm really happy with my life, and if I'm not, what I can do to change that.

Best thing about being YOU?

I'd say my friends and family. I love being surrounded by them, and they make my whole life a lot more fun AND interesting! 😂

Is being a writer a gift or a curse?

Definetly a gift. 😌

You only get 3 words to describe yourself – what are they?

Oh, I dunno, maybe: Loyal, Intelligent, and Kind?

Do you work to an outline or plot or do you prefer just see where an idea takes you?

Yes, and no. At the beginning of a book, I write out a plan and I make dot points of all the major things that I want to happen in a book, and I try to make each other those dot points into a chapter. Even though I do this, I try to just relax and let my imagination take over, because otherwise, I find that my writing is stiff and almost unnatural.

What do you think about The Freedom Awards? Would you like to suggest something to better it next time?

I think it's a really fair and well organised awards, but I would say that if all contestants were given the feedback that the judges write, and not just the winners, it would make the awards better.

How do you feel about winning a Freedom Award?

Honestly amazing! When I actually found out that I had won, I was out at a fancy restaurant with my family, and I nearly screamed, which would have been SUPER awkward for two reasons : A, I was at a fancy restaurant, and B, like I mentioned earlier, my family don't know. Sooooooo, I'm thanking my lucky stars that it didn't happen! 😂😂

Any Message for the people of Wattpad?

Yes, actually.

To the writers out there,

Follow your heart, and write about what you want to write about. Don't write what you think others will like, and most certainly do not let what others say or do affect the way you write. The truth is, when you're confident in your writing, and you're writing about something that you believe in passionately, your writing is so much better, and it draws people to it. If you're writing what others want you to write, chances are you're gonna end up with spelling and grammar mistakes, plot holes and stories that don't flow or make sense. Stick to what you know, and love. And good luck in your future writing, I know you'll do amazing. 😉
