Assalam o Alaikum and hello friends and fans!!

I'm your host and dost Kounj Muzafar looking and today we have another honorable and lovely Author and winner of a Freedom Award Cutecoolandpopular.

Thank you so much Aisha Yasmin Faruk  for agreeing to this interview. So I will start with the usual question...

Tell us a little something special about yourself and your background?

Well, I'm a Nigerian introvert! I have no friends but mind you I have family ;) I'm absolutely addicted to Oreos, skittles, pancakes and chocolate. I love adventures and stargazing and I'm a very nonchalant person😜I'm pretty deep too as someone says🙄I started writing at 6 years but writing became my job two years ago because of the many times I wrote for competitions and school stuff too. I guess that's pretty much it.

What's your age, your date of birth and zodiac sign? 

I'm 14, born on the 3rd of September and a Virgo

Which genre did your winner book belong to? What draws you to this genre? 

Spiritual and I really love that genre because of my religion and the many things I learn from it. After all life isn't just black and white but shades of gray too.

What do people hate the most about you?

My short temper

What's the most strangest thing you have done?

Beat up a boy when I was 11😂😂🙃

Do you ever get writer's Block? Give one tip on how to get through the dreaded writer's block? 

I always get writer's block, even right now too. But I overcome my writer's block by observing people around me and getting ideas from their individual unique lives and writing about them. I get inspiration from my environment and write about it and bam I have a new chapter to right about, I have an idea and I ur it onto paper.

How do you react to negative comments? 

I actually crave negative comments. They help me improve my work and to be honest, they are what keeps me writing because I know that, those comments are coming from insecure people and it helps me a lot

Which person would you like to meet from WP and why? Tag them. 

I would really like to meet diarra_16 she is a really amazing person and she is just so cool and I already made a wish to one day meet her, a fellow African teenager like me.

Who are your favorite authors? 

I have many favorite authors really and I can't list them but any writer is my favorite author because it takes great courage and imagination to write a book.

What do your family say about your writing? 

They encourage me to go on. They want me to strive far and they even plan on publishing my books someday 😂😂🌸😉

No I'm not actually.

I don't care what people think of me and I love that about me.

Is being a writer a gift or a curse? 

Tough question. Sometimes it is gift because of all the appreciation you get and all the loyal readers, but it can be a curse from all the times you wish to stop but it becomes a part of you.

You only get 3 words to describe yourself – what are they? 

Abnormal, weird and crazy.

Do you work to an outline or plot or do you prefer just see where an idea takes you? 

I prefer to see where an idea takes me.

What do you think about The Freedom Awards? Would you like to suggest something to better it next time? 

I think it is a great opportunity for writers to discover theirselves and their potentials actually.

How do you feel about winning a Freedom Award? 

I felt really surprised because I thought my writing was just a piece of shit and there are so many people who deserve it more than me.

NEVER GIVE UP ON YOUR DREAMS!!! You could go places with those dreams!
