Why did you join wattpad?

I joined wattpad to work on my writing skills, because writing and reading have been my passions since I was a little kid. Now, I can proudly say I've found another hobby: Graphic Designing!

How long have you been making graphics for?

yikes, i think about 2 years? i made edits before i came to wattpad, but i only started offering covers for others in 2015 i think haha.

How did you get into graphic designing? 

when i first started writing, i remembered that i had some previous editing skills locked up, and i wanted to unlock them! unfortunately, they were really rusty. here's my first cover. and yes, the first cover i actually made:

What type of graphics do you make, and which do you prefer?

I make book covers (manipulated + simple), profile pictures and just recently, book banners!

What is your favourite part of graphic making?

my favorite part would have to be making the client happy. it honestly warms my heart because i love making people happy in general and by offering one of my talents, i can make people even happier!

How long does it usually take you to make a graphic?

if it is a manipulated cover, it normally takes me 1-2 hours if i don't really have inspiration. for simple covers, it takes me about 30-40 minutes.

What program(s) do you use for making your graphics?

I use an online program called befunky and an apple app called polarr!

Where do you get your inspiration from/who inspires you?

i get my inspiration from various designers on pinterest and on deviantart! so many graphic artists inspire me, it'd take years to name them all!

Do you have any tips for aspiring graphic designers?

i know this is cheesy, but never give up! always practice and never doubt yourself! loving your graphics is essential to becoming a great graphic designer, because it presents loads of confidence! and of course, it makes you feel better. There's always room for improvement, but never be harsh on yourself!
