1) "Name?"

Suzanne.

2) "Age?"

I was a bit nervous on this one, but then I said, age is but a number! I’m 26, turning 27 soon.

3)" What are your hobbies?"

Almost anything design related (drawing, painting, rendering, and I also say that Photoshop is my best friend). I have a thing for watching beauty vloggers on YouTube, so to say, I like makeup a lot.

Other than all of that, the number one thing is photography…kinda have to be if I’m a wedding photographer.

And overshhly reading and writing (and yes, I just did that).

4) "When did you start writing and why?"

I honestly never thought or considered to write or be a writer, but it all started with reading people talk about fan fiction on social media. Being a massive fan of One Direction and the boys individually, I wanted to give it a try, and see what I could actually do.

At the time I started writing my first book, I was also in deep depression, and it’s helped me a lot through that. Sort of being able to put my shoes inside my characters. I never considered writing a true real-life based story based on Harry, because I wanted something that anyone could connect to, so I kept it AU. In my opinion, it gives a broader range for creativity and there’s just an infinite amount of ideas to branch off to.

I also had a little push to give it a go from a couple of supportive friends, and I’m incredibly glad that they did that.

5) "Which was your first story generally?"

Oh gosh, it was a short story I wrote back when I was 12 for an English class, it was called ‘A Night of Terror’…or something like that. It was suspense and mystery. I remember my Mum loving it and said I had a talent for writing, but I never wrote anything ‘proper’ again until I was 17 (the not-entirely-edited short story I have posted ‘Love Will Find its Way’, which was also for an English class).

6) "Do you write in some other website except Wattpad?"

No.

I love the platform here. The ability to communicate with other authors and readers. Seeing comments, agreeing/disagreeing, stating their own voices. It’s incredible.

I find Wattpad a little (big) family that I never want to part from.

7) "What has given you motive to keep on writing?"

Personal peace and the readers.

I find peace and relaxation in writing…which is funny considering the times when I write incredibly sad scenes or even action. It’s kind of hard to describe, but it’s the weird way I am haha.

Also, knowing that there are people out there who support my work and love reading it, it does gives me a small amount of motivation to continue doing it. I love my readers all so much.

8 )"Have you ever wanted to give up everything? (writing I mean)"

There was one time where I actually did, back in 2014. My depression hit me so bad that I couldn’t find a reason for me to write anymore. In 2017 was when I started writing again and found my purpose of why I needed to do it again. I can’t deny and say that I didn’t also have depression then, because I did. I realised though that writing has helped me overcome so many things in my life and it means so much to me.

And now, I don’t think I’d ever stop writing. It’s become a part of me and all I want to do is to keep doing it.

9) "Which is your favorite story on Wattpad?"

That’s one of the hardest questions yet haha. It’s so hard to choose. There are a TON of amazing books on here and pretty much ‘every single book’ in my favourite’s list….no joke. They all hit a special place in my heart.

But if I HAD to choose, I’ll list a few. Styles & Co by @thelittlestthings ; Asset by @lonelyari ; Salute by an author who deleted her account, but @blesshes has it posted ; Sightless by @scarlettskies1 (I was never a fan of blind H books, but this one is beyond incredible) ; and Stall by @MysteryMixtapes (who is a sweetheart for tagging me to do this interview)

10) "Have you gained any friendship from Wattpad? If yes, which are your Wattpad friends?"

Absolutely!

I’ve gained some close friends and I don’t want to tag them…my girls know exactly who they are. There is one specific girl who I met off Twitter (two years ago) via DM to ask her to check out my first story, and since then we’ve become incredibly close friends. In my first book, she was one of the three people I dedicated my story to. She pushed me to keep writing and supported me writing my second book.

On an other note, I love meeting new people and my inbox is always open.

11) "Do you relate with any of your characters from your books? If yes, which one and which characteristics are similar?"

I wish that I could say that I relate to Céline from ‘Azure Saviour’, but I don’t. Only in minor ways like how much she loves coffee, hates winter, and loves design related everything.

I’d say that Aubrey from ‘Promising Memoirs’ is very similar to who I am as an actual person. She almost mirrors me in multiple ways, quite a bit in appearance, as well as her job, and the fact that she has a cosy teatime in the evenings. Just the way she acts and handles situations, she may or may not be written based a bit on myself. Again, it was my first story that I considered ‘something’ in my eyes and the whole process was still new to me. I’d say that would have to be the reason why. Since then, my imagination has broadened and I’m able to picture the impossible.

12) "What did you study /are you studying/do you want to study?"

I studied Interior Architecture and graduated a few years ago…unfortunately the city I live in, doesn’t have good work opportunities for it, and I can’t leave as of now. So, I’m a wedding photographer and I love everything about it.

13)" Describe yourself in 3 words."

Loyal, Passionate, Introvert.

14) "What do you advise new writers?"

Write from your heart and don’t write something thinking what’ll attract readers most. The best way is to connect with your characters in personal ways and if you do that, the readers will want to continue reading. Just be creative, ideas are limitless.

15)" Questions based on ' Azur Saviour  :  How were you inspired to write this story?"

Well, by the time I came around to finishing Promising Memoirs, I already had in my mind that I wanted to start writing something else. I had so many ideas and they were literally a mess. I took some time to note them all down properly and took a couple week break from looking at them. Basically, I had to clear my mind.

When time came around, I checked it all again and I picked out what I wanted to write. I honestly knew what I wanted.

I wanted a deep, emotional, and philosophical plot. I wanted my readers to truly ‘think’ and debate within themselves the topics described in the book (spoken between Céline and Harry). I wanted ALL of my female characters to be far from weak. I wanted to create characters that each had strength within them (all in different forms). I also wanted to create a plot that wasn’t typical. I wanted ‘unique’ (adding a little Harry word in there hehe).

I think a lot of bits and pieces of how the plot is tied together is through the title name, Céline, and a handful of conversations within the story.

16)" Who's your favourite character in the book and why? "

Oh gosh, this is a toughie. I love them all for so many different reasons. I’d personally have to say either Céline or Hazel. I don’t think I can choose. They’re both so inspiring, optimistic, and loving. The strength that Céline has, is phenomenal, considering through everything she’s gone through in her life.

Sweet Hazel has such an effervescent personality and she’s so loveable by every single person. She’s a wise old lady in the body of a seven year old.

There’s one word that Harry used to describe both of them on two different occasions, and that’s why I love those two girls most.

They are ‘warriors’.

17)" Have you decided the end of the book? "

I am about 63.25% of how it’s all planned out to be.

That’s a joke. I’m about 80-ish% complete on how the ending is going to be. There’s one thing that’s for sure though, it’s going to be a happy ending.

Call me an optimist, but I think that anyone can have a happy ending in life (even when it’s hard af), so why not make it that way if you have full control over it?

18)"If you were asked to publish your book , would you do it?"

Absolutely. I’m seriously looking into trying to see if I can get this book published, because why not?

19)"Which is your favourite a)  funny,  b) dramatic,  c) romantic, d) sad scene in the book,  until now?

I mean, there are SO many moments for all of these scenes, but I think I’ll go with these…

a) funny…I kinda have two: When Céline’s being bothered by an unwanted person at a bar she’s at and Harry saves her by pretending to be her boyfriend saying: “Mate, it took me weeks to know her name. You’ll never get it out of her, so don’t bother trying.”

And the second is practically almost every single text message conversations that Harry has with Céline after she finally gives him her number.

b) dramatic: The time Harry goes for a job of his, which turns out to be an assassination project, and he gets shot, whilst shooting someone…then waking up unsure whether he was the one who killed ‘client 17’ or not.

c) romantic: All of the moments that they spend cuddling in pure silence, but specifically one when he tells her what he thinks of her and how incredible she is in his eyes…then they kiss and Céline thinks how she’s a ‘love virgin’, and H calls her by the nickname he gave her. It’s my second favourite scene to write so far.

d) sad: What Harry did before and after he told Céline he loved her (the first unofficial time). It broke my heart writing that entire scene…especially because it was the very first thing I wrote in the book.

20) " A phrase or a scene that you write and you'll never forget.(and why)"

Chapter 10.

The entire chapter from start to finish is perfection for me. Harry and Céline are still considerably strangers, but this was the point when they started building proper trust, communication, and understanding between them.

They talked about the importance of how complex they both are, in indirect ways; he defined Céline to be ‘unique’; about how each of them are incredibly attentive to detail; and when my favourite moment happened between them.

The moment he embraced her when she jumped from the sound of thunder, even though she wasn’t truly scared of the storm. The connection started when he felt it was ‘right’ to hold her.

21) " How much time did it take to plan the whole plot? Are we near the end?"

For me and writing, I’ve find it the best to write by main ideas, then I just go from there. Sometimes I get hit by some inspiration while vacuuming or preparing something to it and I find it to be something amazing like, “Why hadn’t I thought of this before?” Type of thing.

So there’s no specific time frame. However, I have been writing this book for over a year now, and I’d say that there are roughly 10 or so chapters left (so it’s sorta nearing the end).

22)" How many unpublished and half-finished books do you have?"

Zero and zero haha. I cannot multi-task when it comes to books haha. When I write, I have to be in sync with my character, it’s so hard to change. I’ve also been editing my other story and the characters are no where near the same, so I’m itty-bitty struggling with that.

23) "Please tell me ONE reason that you killed Hazel. JUST ONE! I've been crying my eyes out for 10 minutes!"

I can’t really say a lot about this one, because the answer is within the moment it all happens. Many things are surrounded by the reason and it’s an incredibly important. If you are all thinking of one certain character, it’s not.

Those who are reading, please don’t comment who it is. Spoiling is not nice.

24) " You put quite a few touches from Greece and Greeks in your book. Why's that?"

I love to add differences here and there…culture and origins make the world go round! So I said, why not?

Other than to add onto the fact that I love Greece and it’s a place I’ve always wanted to go to. A little tid-bit of information, my great grandmother was from the island of Crete…didn’t know the lady though, wish I did.

25) "Any spoilers for future plans?"

Yes, yes, yes!

I mentioned above that I can’t multi-task, but I can multi note haha. I have some very strong ideas for another fanfic, with a whole different plot from what I’ve written, and I’m excited to start working on it. Can’t say when it’ll happen though, cause I gotten finish this one first!

*flips over hourglass and writes as quickly as possible*

26) " Choose- 'challenge' two writers that you want to know about to do this interview like you."

I choose these two lovelies: @thelittlestthings and @masquerademusician

CRITICAL QUESTIONS

1)"What movie completely changes its plot when you change one letter in its title? What’s the new movie about?"

The Aristorats

It’s a movie about the aristocratic life of the rats that live hidden in every nook and cranny on the planet. They secretly join the richest in their fancy parties and extravagant balls, all until, they are caught. What will happen once the King has decided to exterminate them all. Will they prevail against him? And will they need some help from their enemies, the feline community?

(My gosh, I love the actual movie though)

2)"If the all the States in the USA were represented by food, what food would each state be represented by? (Do that for 5 of them.)"

Oooh, I like this one haha.

Michigan - Pizza
Missouri - BBQ
Texas - Chilli
New York - Cheesecake (that’s good) California - Avocados

Thank you so much kissable_brits !! ❤❤ Also, I'm Greek , haha.😊

All the love,
M.
