The musicians had left but these two  were still dancing.. Hats off to their energy.. Aadarsh bhai was standing beside me and Sameer bhai was busy in capturing the moments..

That's when a lady stopped the music and they both stopped dancing. Geeta Aunty! She's is Sam's Mom.. Through I had never met her before but seen her photos in Sam's phone gallery ..

"You have completed your bachelor degree only. Don't be so excited. First complete your master degree and get trained by your brothers, then only you can join our company, " she said strictly..
"Mom yarr! You totally ruined the vibe, " he complained making a pout. "Chachi! Give him a break. He need to relax his mind . " Aadarsh bhai said gaining all their attention. Moving his body in whatever motion Sahil came towards me, scanning me from top to bottom..

"Hii! Can I know this pretty girls name? " he forwarded his hand..

"Mishti! " I answered shaking my hand with him.. It was really a awkward situation as everyone were looking at us.. "Like name! Like face.. " he flirted. I gave him an faint smile..

"Little brother! She is Sam's friend. Means your elder sister. So do try your flirting skill elsewhere, " Aadarsh bhai mentioned putting his hand around Sahil's neck.. I was just standing there like a statue..

Geeta Aunty came and pulled his ears.. He started screaming making others laugh. "If you will keep doing this with every other girl, then you won't find a girlfriend in this birth, " she said gritting her teeth..

I touched her feet. She patted my shoulder. "Sam always talks about you , Mishti did this, Mishti did that, she likes this, she doesn't like this and what not." she ranted.. I smiled at Sam.

"Enough of your family time. I have made breakfast for all of us . Come fast," Sameer bhai commanded and everyone left expect me and Sam. We both had already done our breakfast..

She dragged me with her to show her garden and backward.. They had hired  six to seven workers only for the maintenance of the  gardening.. The whole environment was so clean and fresh.. After roaming for more than half hour , we both went to her room and started doing our official work..

The whole day went like that.. The two brothers went to office, Sahil went to meet his friends. It was only me, Sam and her Mom who were in the house .. Geeta aunty shared so many stories of Sam's childhood.. And she was just glaring at her Mom and I was laughing.. And in that way I got to know her birthday which was after three days only.
She was really a naughty girl in childhood.. Aunty seems kind. I didn't feel like I was in someone's house.

It was evening time.. Sam and I were completing our work sitting in the living room.. After giving snacks to both of us, Geeta Aunty went for evening walk. We both were involved in our respective works, that's when door bell rang..

Sam told me, so I went to open the door.. I was totally surprised when I saw Meera Aunty there.. Before going from Rajvansh house I wanted to meet her and finally she came.. "Oh My God! Mishti, you here, " she was beyond shock.. I touched her feet and she hugged me..

"Aree badimaa!" Sam came and hugged her.. "I missed you so much, " Sam mumbled. "That is why I didn't get a call from you, " Aunty complained..

"Yarr badimaa ! You know na how busy I am, " she explained. Aunty rolled her eyes..

"But Mishti! Umm you here? " she asked me.. "It's a long story badimaa, " Sam replied.. I just nodded my head..

"Whatever! I am just so happy to see you here again, " Aunty confessed.. "Me too! " I giggled.

I had already informed Sam that I had met both Meeta aunty and Abir at Soha's marriage.

Sahil and her Mom (Geeta Aunty) both came at the same time.. Seeing Aunty there , their smile went wide.. Sahil hugged Meera aunty.. "Mera ladla! How are you, "

"I am good badimaa! " he replied.. As Sam and I had too much work, so excusing ourselves from their we went to terrace..

We all did our dinner together. Geeta Aunty asked about Abir's arrival. Aadarsh bhai announced that he won't be able to come in this week. Sam got little upset as he won't come on her birthday.

We both went to bed early as we had to wake up early because of our college..

It had been three days our exam has started. I was in my cabin doing my work.. It's around 2.00 PM.. Our college Peon came and informed me that someone was waiting for me.. Keeping my stuff in my bag I headed towards the gate to meet that someone. Our college time was already over.. Sam went to house just one hour before, because it's her birthday tomorrow. And she wanted to go to shoping.

She requested me to go with her but I denied giving a lame excuses. Because I wanted to give her a gift which I hadn't bought.. Sameer bhai had told me that he will pick me up from college and we will both go to market to buy gifts for her..

In one way I was happy that Abir won't be there, but I was sad too because Sam was upset.

The peon came with me till exit to show me the person. After showing the person he left..His back was facing me. I went to him..

"Excuse me! "

He turned towards me making me freezed at my place.. My whole body started trembling seeing Aarav bhai there. He still have the same charm in his face.

"Miss... Mishtiii, " he stammered.. He was totally scared. That day when he addressed me as Golu I got angry on him. But today when he didn't call me with that name I felt a pain inside my chest. I didn't like the fact that he adress me with my name rather than Golu..He tried to hold my hand but I pulled it back.

I started walking towards parking area when his words stopped me.

"Last time when I saw you, you were not even able arrange some papers properly and today when I am seeing you I am feeling so proud.. You are an Educator in the most reputed college. I am so happy that you didn't choose business as your career.. I am so proud that my sister is handling everything on her own. I am so proud that my sister have become so strong. But at the same time, I am sad that my small childish girl is missing. My Golu has changed a lott. " he blurted in one go. I choosed to stay silent.

My heart was just beating so fast, it will explode anytime soon.. I clutched my dress to pacify myself..

"The girl who used to get mad when she couldn't get a glimpse of her brother now don't even want see his face, " he paused.. I bit my lips to stop myself from crying..

"I know you have a lot of questions to ask but I can't answer to any of your questions.. Only thing I can do is apologize . And I know that's not enough and I deserve it. " he yelped.

I heard his footsteps, when I turned around he was no where. I took a deep breath. Wiping my tears I went to parking area. Sameer bhai was waiting for me. As he saw me he waved his hands at me and I got inside his car..

"So how was your day? " he asked .

"Hetric! " only word came out of my mouth, he chuckled. I gave him a faint smile..

I was still stuck at bhai's confession. My heart, mind, lungs, kidney everything just went blank..

"You look little disturbed! " bhai questioned. "Nothing like that! Just work pressure, " I lied..

"Don't stress yourself, at least for now. " he urged. I nodded my head..

We both went to market and bought decoration stuffs, I bought a teddy for her. She loves teddy. We had to go to various shops as she's very choosy. Bhai bought a dress for her. It took our half time as we both were confused what to buy.

After buying all the stuff we finally left for Rajvansh house. I had informed Sam that I would visit to my house so will come home at night..

We both reached at home around 9.00 PM. Bhai dropped me near front gate and he went to house through back gate. We all wanted to surprise Sam. Everything was happening according to our plan. She had no idea about it.

Everyone did their dinner expect Sameer bhai and me. Because we had pizza in evening .. I excused myself by saying I had dinner at my house. Bhai said he did dinner with his clients.

We both started decorating the hall. Sahil kept Sam busy. Then Aadarsh bhai, Geeta Aunty and Meera Aunty too joined us.. After two hours of non stop working finally we decorated the hall. We kept it simple.

Sahil and Sam were watching a movie.

Our college have some strict rules. Like every female lecture will be in saree only.. I was so busy the whole day , so could not get the time to change.. I was still in saree..

"Mishti! Go and open the backdoor.. I have ordered the cake and the delivery boy is waiting there , " Adarsh bhai instructed..

It was around 11.45 PM. Just 15 minutes were left.. I went to open the door.

As I took a glance at the delivery boy, I got startled.. Everything around me got stopped. Wind started blowing giving me chills. My heart was beating in an alarming rate. I felt a unknown consciousness inside me..

It was none other than Abir. He was standing there holding a box. His dark brown eyes were on me.. He was equally shocked to see me there..

I felt someone's hand between us. I came out of my zone when I realized Sahil was waving his hand between us.. "Ahem Ahem, " he voiced.. I smiled at him awkwardly..

"What you both are doing here from last five minutes? " he asked.. I stuck my hair strand behind my ear..I was totally embarrassed.. We freaking had a five minutes of eye contact..

"I came here to bring the cake, " I replied..

I took the cake from his hand, but he was still staring at me and Sahil was giving me teasing look. Rolling my eyes at both of them I went inside..

I kept the cake on the table.. They both entered, seeing Abir there Aunty got shocked..

"You were supposed to come after one week! " Geeta Aunty asked. Everyone were surprised to see him there expect Aadarsh bhai. So he knew it..

"Han badimaa! But I just can't miss her birthday so just cancelled the meetings, " he explained..

The three brothers shared a group hug.. And Sahil was clicking their pics..

"What is Sam doing? " Meera aunty asked to Sahil. "She slept, " he replied casually..

"What!! " we all screamed in union..

"What could I do, we both were watching movie, I didn't realize when she slept, " he explained.. Sameer bhai hit his head in a pillow..

"Okay! We don't have time. I am going to wake her up and will bring her here, " saying Sameer bhai left..

After five minutes he brought her closing her both the eyes through his palm. It was 12.00 am. He made her stood at the middle and opened her eyes..

"Happy birthday Sam, " we all cheered . Her smile went wide..She started scanning the room and when her gaze met with Abir she was dumbfounded.. She ran to him and jumped on him.. He twirled her around..

"I thought you won't come, " she expressed..

"Not a single meeting is more important than my sister's birthday, " he uttered and she smiled..

She cut the cake and fed everyone. Abir was standing beside me.. Sahil jumped between us making me scared.

"Why do I feel like there is something between you? " he asked the most idiotic question..

"We just know each other as we have met before at Soha's wedding, " Abir blurted keeping his face straight..

"But I asked a different question! " Sahil blabbered..

Not giving a damm to his useless question Abir sat on the sofa.. The whole family were staring at us. I was just playing with my saree pallu.

"Mujhse jo nazrein churane lage ho
Lagta hai koi aur gali jaane lage ho
Khwab jo dekhe hum dono ne milke
Dheere dheere kyun dafnaane lage ho" Sahil started singing the song in a most dramatic way possible..

Abir got up from his seat folding his sleeves and keeping his brown eyes on Sahil.

'Does this man know how hot he looks while folding his sleeves?! '

"Bhai! Don't you think he is blabbering anything from the time he have come, " Abir professed.. Sahil took two steps back..

"He deserves an Oscar for his drama, " saying Sameer bhai took a pillow from sofa. Aadarsh bhai and Abir too did the same..

"Help! " Sahil screamed and started running. The three brothers were running behind him..

Both Sam and I sat on the sofa enjoying the chaos.. Both Meera aunty and Geeta aunty were trying their best to stop them and we both were laughing so hard.. Finally after tweenty minutes they stopped fighting and fell on the ground for some rest.. After that Meera Aunty ordered them to clean the hall.. We both had college the next day so we left..

I was in the terrace.. Bhai's every word was still ringing in my ears.. Sleep was far away from me.. I felt someone's presence behind me.. I knew who was behind me..

Turning around I walked towards my room and he came in front of me stopping me on my path.. "I didn't know you will come here following me, " he murmured. I rolled my eyes.

"Stay in your delusion then, " I shrugged off. He chuckled. "Thank you for not telling anything to Mom about that incident, " he stated in a softest way possible. I just nodded and keeping my face straight I went to my room..

I changed into my night dress and laid on the bed. I was going through mixed emotions. The day was full of shock and surprises. I set my alarm and slept..

As today there was no exam, so we had less work in college . Sam gave treat to everyone in the college.. I thought there will be a party in her house, but Sam doesn't like parties.. So everyone celebrated her birthday in a simple way. Her father even returned today.. She was happy.. I had seen his father various time before in magazines..

Today I got to know that every year on this day, the whole family watch one horror movie at night as per Sam's wish even though no one like horror movies .. And even today we all will obey her.. She decided to watch 'Annabelle Part 1' . I really don't prefer to watch scary movies, but I didn't have any other option today..

There is a small theatre in their house.. Sam arranged everything ..

I had not seen this room before.. The room itself was giving me scary vibes.. Aadarsh bhai and Sameer bhai and Sahil took the front seat.. I and Sam and Abir sat on the back.. Sam was sitting between Abir and me.

I was not enjoying the movie as much I was enjoying everyone's state.. Sahil was laughing throughout the movie don't know why.. It was just 30 minutes left for the ending, I noticed no one was there expect me and Sam.. What the fuck!  I was so involved in the movie , I couldn't see anyone of them leaving.

But then I saw Sam who was sleeping peacefully.. Seriously?! Was it only me who was watching the fucking movie?? I turned off the tv.. And the room became all dark making me scared.. After searching for five minutes I found my phone in the dark room . I turned on the torch..

"Sam! " I called her in a low voice.

"AAAAAAAAAAA" she shouted.. I jerked up throwing my phone in the air due to her loud response..

"What? " I asked breathing heavily. I was already so scared due to the movie and she made me more scared..

"Aree nothing! I was in deep sleep and  you just call me so I just got scared, " she responded.. This girl!

"Leave that! We should go and sleep in our room, everyone have already left, " I murmured.. She looked at everywhere and nodded.

We were on the living room, that's when something fell on both of us out of nowhere..

"AAAAAAAAAAA"
"AAAAAAAAAAA"

We both screamed and jumped on the sofa holding each other..

"What happened? "
"What happened? "

We heard Abir and Geeta Aunty's voice. He shouted from the first floor and Aunty shouted coming from kitchen.. I found two pillows on the ground. I sighed..

"Who the hell threw this pillows? " Sam shouted.

"Why are you shouting? You both were sleeping in the theatre so I thought to give you both pillow and blanket, " Abir responded.. When did I sleep? I was well awake.

"You can bring it  with you na rather than throwing like this ? " Sam complained..

"Then how could I take the blanket? So I threw the pillow after that I would have taken the blanket with me, " he yelled and left..

"Aargghh! I got a heart attack because of you. " Sam yelled. I was just staring at both of them..

"In case you both don't know, let me remind you, you both are staying in a house where everyone is sleeping. So stop shouting at each other, " Geeta Aunty roared making both of us alert..

Taking the pillows with us we headed towards first floor silently..

"I thought you are a brave girl! " I teased her when we both reached near my room..

"Hlo! I don't get scared.. " she stated..

"Are you sure about that? " I chuckled..

"Of course! Huh, " rolling her eyes she headed towards her room..

"Sam ghost! " I voiced.. Throwing the pillow in the air he climbed up on a couch.. I burst out laughing..

"What the hell is happening in this house? " I heard Geeta Aunty's voice from the ground floor.. I moved my gaze at her, my eyes went wide. She was holding that pillow. She looked at us..

"What are you doing their on the couch? And how the hell this pillow fell on me " she shouted at her. I took some backsteps.. Sam glared at me, I gasped. Before she could catch me I entered inside my room and closed the door..

"Are you both done? " Abir uttered making me startled.. He was standing near the terrace door. I nodded my head. He left after that. I went to close that door when I spotted Aadarsh bhai and Sameer bhai too. The three brothers were doing their work. I closed the door..

It was around 1.00 am. I fell on my comfortable bed. What a amazing day it was! We had so much fun. Don't know about Sam, but I will remember her this birthday night till my death.. I closed my eyelids and sleep took over me..

When I opened my eyes I found myself in the middle of a jungle.. I looked here and there, but found no one.. I stood up on my place , moonlight was falling on me. I felt someone's shadow on me..

I went near to that person to see his face properly.. I sighed as it was Abir. I had no idea how I ended up being there. I took a step back when I saw a knife in his hand.. "Wh... what are you doing? And how did I get here? " I stammered..

He started coming towards me slowly slowly. I gasped and took backsteps.. "Why did you tell about that incident to my Mom? " he shouted.

"I didn't tell anything, I swear, " I shuddered..

"Then how did she know? " he asked coming closure.

"How would I know? "

My legs got stuck and I fell on the ground.. I was breathing heavily.. He sat on his knees , brought the knife near my face. "I had already warned you before! But you didn't listen to me.. Now bear the punishment, " he uttered making my eyes big..

He put the knife on my stomach and I felt the knife cut deeper..

I jerked up from my sleep. I looked here and there. I was in my room totally safe. I was breathing heavily. Dumbass! It was a dream.. Wiping sweats from my forehead I went to bathroom. I splashed water on my face..Taking a towel I came out of bathroom..

It was 8.30 am .. It was sunday so no college. My heart was still beating rapidly due to that dream. I opened the terrace door only to find Abir sitting there reading the newspaper..

I went and sat in front of him folding my both the arms on my chest. "I saw you in my dream today! " I blurted..

"Every girl do, " he shrugged off. I glared at him.

"You killed me with a knife, because I told everything to your mom which I didn't, " I complained.

He moved his eyes from the newspaper to me and burst out laughing. I rolled my eyes.

Keeping the paper on the table he came to me and stood up in front of my sofa. I raised my eyebrows. Putting his both the hand on the sofa arm he bent down making me gasped. I blinked my eyes..

"You know what, I really don't need any weapon to kill a girl, Do I? " he whispered in his husky voice.. I shook my head unknowingly..I was staring at his pretty face which was so closed to mine.. I closed my eyes when his fingers touched my cheeks and removed some hair strands from my face. My hand automatically went to his hand and clutched his sleeves due to our sudden intimacy..

I came out of my zone when I heard Sahil singing.. Abir threw a pillow at him and sat on his previous place.. I sighed.. What was just happening?

" Are you sure that there is nothing between you? " he teased.. I rolled my eyes.. Abir stood up and wrapped his hand around Sahil neck and gave him a mischievous smile. I was confused.. He dragged him with him and in no second pushed him from the terrace.

My eyes almost came out of the sockets, I directly ran to him. I sighed seeing Sahil inside the swimming pool. God these brothers are completely mad.

Without wasting any time I ran to my room and closed the door from inside..

"You better stay away from him Mishti! " my inner voice scolded me..

Everytime he come in front of me, I forget everything.. Arrghhhh..
