ABIR :)

Finally the most awaited day is here. It's their marriage day. The haldi happened in our respective house, they were not allowed to see each other.. Climbing on the stairs I went upstairs, groom squad are still dancing outside. Bhai did a grand entry sitting on a white horse. Though there is still time to start all the rituals so I came here to take a glance at my best friend.. Her room door was already opened, I stepped inside..

Sitting on the bed, Saanvi was staring at the floor. Sensing my presence she looked up , seeing her puffy eyes I could guess she was crying before some times.. Taking slow steps I went to her and sat down on my kness in front of her.. My breath stuck in my chest, it was special for me but still I just felt my heart aching. She was always so closed to her mom dad and it's the most difficult yet beautiful day of her life.. I placed my palm above her palm and a drop of tear dropped on my knuckles..

"I always dreamt about this day, but when it actually arrived I am just freaking out. I feel like I am losing something, how will I start a new journey leaving everything behind? " she sobbed, I cluched her palm tightly.

"You won't have to leave everything behind, it's still your home and it will always be. You are free to come here whenever you want, even at the midnight. They are still your parents and will always be your first priority, nothing is going to change, " I said trying to calm her.. She nodded her head. Taking a tissue paper I wiped her tears making sure I won't ruin her eye make up.

"You are looking gorgeous, " I said, she smiled in between her sobs..

"Your girl is getting ready in the next room, " she informed me, raising my brows I looked at her biting my tongue.

"I came here only to check upon you, " I said giving her a flirtatious smile, she hit my shoulder..

"I am fine, now go to her in case she need any help, " she said, nodding my head I got up and placed a kiss on her crown. Before leaving the room I took a glance of me on the mirror. Blue is her favorite color that's why I choosed a blue Indo-western sherwani..

I stepped inside and glanced at the room. My breath hitched seeing my girl getting ready standing in front of a mirror. Pink is my favorite that's why I had bought this lehenga for her and she is looking alluring.. Leaning against the door I stared at her, yesterday incident flashed in front of my eyes.

She is way too gorgeous that can drive any man crazy or warm anyone's blood. She was struggling with her necklace, the sound of her bangles were making me go crazy.. She has kept her hair open as I love it that way. The crimson pink color was making her lips more attractive, I felt a sudden urge to kiss her .. I placed my palm over my chest to feel my rapid heart beat. Letting out a deep breath I went to her.. She was so focused on the necklace that could not realize my presence..

I slided my both hands around her bare waist making her freeze at her place , she didn't look at the mirror to know who was the person as she has become familiar with my touch.. Placing my palm on her belly I pulled her onto me and she closed her eyes. I kept my chin on her shoulder, drawing circle on her belly through my finger.

The necklace fell from her hand which made me satisfied.. I made her look at me by turning her around, she was looking breathtaking... Her chest was moving up and down as she was breathing heavily.. Taking my hand to the back of her neck, I slided a bunch of hair from her neck. Bending down a little I pressed my lips on her neck, every inch of my body heated up due to the sensation..

She arched her neck giving me enough assess to explore her more.. I trailed my lips, her tiny fingers were clutching my sherwani. I nibbled her skin above her collar bone making her gasped. I pulled myself back knowing it's neither a right place nor a right time.. I took some deep breaths to calm myself, she smiled at me..

Circling her hands around my neck she came close to me. "Let's get married, " she whispered huskily making my eyes widen. I blinked my eyes trying to process what she just said. One and other day we both will get married but she always run away from this topic called marriage. So hearing something like this from her made my heart fluttered in happiness.

"So that we can make love to each other without caring of anyone, we can travel anywhere without asking anyone's permission, we can enjoy with each other without thinking what the other person is thinking, we can have our own little family, you and me, " she concluded, her lips were curved into a wide smile. Air got stuck in my lungs..

I was just out of words, I could not think what to say at that moment. For the first she said something which not only snatched my breath away but also made me speechless. I never knew life would be this much easy on me. Don't know about marriage but after bhai's reception I am going to confess her. We both know about each other's feelings but still it matters .. I want to convey her what my heart says. And want to hear what her heart says.

Enough of listening to each other without actually telling.

"You distracted me Abir Rajvansh, " she said pushing me, I rolled my eyes. She picked up her necklace, I took it from her and made her wear it..

"Looking good? " she asked me twirling around herself..

"Looking okay okay! " I mumbled , she narrowed her eyes. She left the room and went to Saanvi's room. I went down stairs. All the rituals has started.. I went to lawn, my eyes sparkled in happiness..

Bhai was sitting on the mandap, chacha chachi were sitting at side. I went to Mom, her teary eyes were stuck at bhai. Bhai has always been her favorite son. I pressed her shoulder gently, she shed some tears. "He was this small yesterday and now see, he is getting married, " she said to me, I smiled looking at bhai whose eyes were fixed at us. It's the first marriage in our house of this generation..

My eyes travelled to the entrance, Saanvi all dressed in bridal lehenge and jewels walked down the aisle under phoolon ka chadar, her parents were holding her both hand. It was a precious moment to seal, so I captured it on my phone camera.. Flower petals were falling on her. I shifted my eyes to bhai , he was staring at her, his hands were clasped with each other , I could feel the eagerness and nervousness behind his bright smile..

Saanvi sat on her place, her parents sat at her side and the wedding rituals began.. I roamed my eyes when I didn't find Mishti, that's when my gaze fell on her. She was stuck. Yes my friends had stopped her, poor girl. She was playing with her fingers, they all were having their own fun time while teasing her.. I ran towards them otherwise after them she will kill me..

Wrapping my neck around her, I pulled her into my embrace. "Guys I guess we came here to attend bhai's marriage, so focus on that, " I reminded them, they all started giving me flirty looks which I ignored. I removed my hand from her neck when my gaze fell on her mother coming towards us.

"Guys her mom is coming, please don't do something which will lead us to trouble, " I warned my friends, but only if they care.

"Oh Sasumaaaa! " they all shouted stretching the word sasumaa. My eyes widen, they will kill me today. Mishti looked at them in pure disbelief..

"Guys her brother is coming too, please go from here, " I rebuked..

"Oh Sale sahab too, " they again said in union.. Seriously! I ruffled my hairs in frustation. But thank God before they could reach us, my friends left.. Mishti went to her and hugged everyone. "I missed you so much, you toh totally forgot us after coming here, " her mom was complaining, I chuckled. Going near to them I shook my hand with Aarav bhai and folding my hands I did a namaste. My future mother in law gave me an warm smile and headed towards mandap...

Her chachi and bhabi came after them, I again did a namaste. "You don't need to impress her by doing all this, she's already impressed you know na! " Mishti said to me in a low voice.

"Hello! To the hell with this impress things. Abir Rajvansh don't impress anyone. It's just my personality that people get attracted towards me, " I praised myself having a proud smile on my lips.

"Stay in your delusional world, " she commented, I rolled my eyes..

"You want proof? See I will just walk by those girls and in the whole wedding their eyes will be on me, " I said taking a step towards them but she held my  elbow.

"Don't I give you enough attention that you want more, " she yelled, I smirked slightly. I could not say more as her chachi came to us..

"Meri bachhi, " saying she pressed Mishti taking her into a hug.

Leave my girl, she is not able to even breath..

After some seconds she freed her and I sighed. "Hello Aunty, " I greeted her.

"Hello beta, "

After exchanging some fake smiles with the new arrival guests I went to my previous place..

While they were taking phera, everyone were throwing flowers petals at them. But I threw it towards Mishti who was standing little away from me. She looked at me angrily as her mom was standing nect to her. But me being unbothered kept throwing petals at her until my mom hit my shoulder..

"Stop annoying her, " she said gritting her teeth, I pouted. Now mom will too scold  me because of her. Huh. After the sindoor and mangalsutra rituals priest declared them as married couple.. We all clapped for them.. It's already 4:30 .. Guests have done their lunch except our families.. They both took elders blessing, I hugged both of them..

After that they went inside and we made them sit on the chairs which were decorated for them..

"Listen! "

I turned around hearing Sofia's voice. I raised my brows. She handed me bhai's sandal..

"I am going to take my food, now it's your duty to keep it safe, " she said and left. It's a ritual where the bride's sister take groom's sandal, and then in return she ask something from the groom. I looked here and there and found Mishti searching for this. As soon her gaze fell on me, I hid it behind me. This was the worst idea of Sofia to give me this sandal.

Giving me a mischievous smile she ran towards me, I took some backsteps until my back hit on the wall..

"What? " I asked raising my brows.

"What what? Give me the shoes, " she said showing me her palm, I shook my head..

"Isn't your mom here? " I asked trying to divert her attention, she shook her head. "They left after taking their meals, now don't waste my time and handed me the shoes, " she ordered, like I am going to listen her.

"Mishti, it's the ritual where you have to steal it, you can't just ask me like this, " I said trying to put some sense in her brain. She gave me an whatever look..

"Who care about the rituals, I said you have to give me means you will give me, that's it, " she said strictly, I narrowed ny eyes.

"No way! "

"In every way! "

"Mishti"

"Abir"

"Yes"

"But I won't give you, "

"You have to, "

"Enough! " I said sternly.. She squeezed her eyes and I kept my face straight.. I burrowed my eyes in confusion when she came close to me,"What are you doing? Everyone were looking at us, " I said to her, but in reality no one were having their eyes on us.

"Abir Rajvansh, all are busy with the main couple, " she said changing her ascent, making my hormones go wild.. I gulped and held the shoes tightly.. I felt a jolt of current running down my spine when she pressed her lips on me. I was too blank to react.. I was about to kiss her that's when she detached herself. My eyes widen when she bent down, picking the sandals she ran away from there..

"Mishti this is cheating! " I shouted from her back, she showed me her tongue and left. I went to the hall where everyone were present.. Both the bride and groom took their lunch, my only focus was on Mishti who was holding the shoes. My friends will kill me. It was time for vidai, bhai looked for his sandals and everyone's attention shifted to me..

Mishti came to the middle holding the shoe. "Abir I gave it to you, how it reached to her, " Sofia scolded me hiting my shoulder.

"Did I say you to give it to me? " I said pressing ny teeth, she flared her nose in anger..

"I won't give it until I get something, " Mishti demanded showing her palm, everyone laughed at her statement.

"Abir, " bhai called me, I let out a deep breath and went to them.. Taking my wallet out of my pant pocket, I took out a bunch of note. I was just counting that's when Mishti snatched it from me. "All mine, " she giggled making my eyes widen. After taking the money she handed bhai's shoes happily. Grinning ear to ear she kept the money in her pursue, I rolled my eyes and kept my empy wallet in my pocket..

As they were doing the wedding rituals I went outside to check if the car was ready or not. Taking a last glance of the car I kept the door open. Holding her Mom, Saanvi was crying, bhai was giving assurance to her father. I looked at Sahil who was taking some deep breaths. I ran to him, "Are you okay! " I asked him, pressing his shoulders..

"Seeing them crying I felt like laughing, that's why I am trying to control it, " he whispered, I gave him an unbelievable look.

"You better control your laugh, otherwise anyone from their side will see you laughing then don't know what they will do, " I warned him, he again let out a deep breath.

"Trying my best, " he said, I chuckled.. Going near the car I helped Saanvi and made her sit inside, she has become a crying mess. While bhai was trying his best to console her. For the very first time I hugged Mahi, I could understand what he must be going through.. Patting his back I broke our hug, their car left..

I got inside my car and Chacha chachi, Mom sat in my car.. Mishti went in Sameer's car with Sam and Aaru and Sahil. I started my engine and drove faster than bhai's car so that we can reach Rajvansh house before them as Mom will welcome them by doing aarti. After some twenty minutes of drive we reached there. I parked the car in the garage.. Elders went inside while I was waiting for other cars to come.

Bhai's car came fast, I opened the door for them. I sighed seeing Saanvi in good state, they both headed towards our home. The next was Sameer's car. As everyone came, we all headed towards the door. Mom first did their aarti , then she pushed the kalash full of rice with her right toe then entered inside. Chachi placed a flat plate full of red liquid called alta, putting her feet she walked on a white sheet and went inside..

After doing post marriage rituals Mom gifted her a pair of bangles which her mother-in-law had gifted her.. We all clicked a family picture, then we went to backward. Bhai wanted to click their pictures. After thirty minutes of their photoshoot I went inside. I didn't find Mishti anywhere so I directly went upstairs.

My legs were tired of standing and running. After changing her dress Mishti was sleeping on my bed. I smiled looking at her and locked the door from inside.. I too got freshened up and laid on my bed beside her. Something heavy was below my pillow. Lifting the pillow I found the bundle of notes which Mishti had taken from me. A letter was there too..

It's a ritual so I kept one note of money. And moreover I am going to spend all of your money so now keep it with yourself..

I smiled reading the letter. It made me happy knowing she showed her rights on me.. I kept the money below the mattress..

Bringing my face near to her, I stared at her for some seconds. I felt so relaxed seeing her sleeping face. There was some satisfaction in me which I can't express in words.

Placing a soft kiss on her forehead I slept..

Mishti :)

It's there reception which is happening in the backyard of Rajvansh villa .. I was wearing a heavy blue grey long gown which was bit selected by Abir. Sam wanted me to wear something which will make me twin with her. So I wore this dress, Abir had bought a different gown for me.

Adjusting my hair I went to backyard with Sam by my side. Everything was so perfect about the declaration and lighting.. The flower fragrance blew my mind..

(Aadarsh & Saanvi )

My eyes travelled to Abir who was clicking pictures with bhai and di on the stage. I stood there silently while adoring my man. After some time his friends joined them and they clicked some pictures. He was looking dashing in the three piece suit..

I smiled when his gaze fell on me. He smiled at me but it soon vanished seeing my gown. He left the stage and came to me. "It's not what I had choosed, " he said while scanning me from top to toe.

"Sam wanted me to twin with her, that's why I wore this, " I giggled, he narrowed his eyes.

"Umm okay! " he pouted, I went to stage and hugged both of them. I and Abir clicked picture with them, then coming to one side I clicked some pictures with Abir. Abir went to greet his guests, I went to food corner. Taking everything from starter corner in a plate, I went near a table and sat over there. I was happily eating that's when someone patted my shoulder.

I looked over my shoulder and found my brother there. Mom and Chacha Chachi were not with him. I stood up and hugged him. "You are looking beautiful! " he said staring at me, I smiled at him. He wanted me to accompany him but as I was eating so I denied. He went to stage and gave the gifts to bhai and Di. After clicking a picture with them he came to me.

"Bhai, bhai and all didn't come? " I asked to him as he sat in front of me.

"Actually grandpa's health is not well, so they went to visit him , " he answered while taking a spring roll from my plate. I nodded my head. Cleaning his hands with tissue paper he got up. "Are you going? " I asked, he nodded.

"I have some important work in office, so I have to go, " he said to me, I got up and hugged him..

"I miss you Golu! " bhai whispered placing a kiss on my crown. Me too. After breaking our hug, he left. I again sat on my previous place and started eating. I hit my head, I forgot to give them the gift I had bought for them. Finishing my food, I washed my hands and headed to Rajvansh house.

I had kept my gifts in Abir's room, so I directly went to his room. I frowned seeing the mess , it felt like a earthquake had happened in Abir's room. Keeping some stuffs at their place I searched for my gift.. As I twirled myself a water colur box fell on the white cleaned marble , I bit my tongue. I added another mess. Avoiding it I opened his wardrobe, finally took a breath of relief seeing my gift. I pulled it which made everything fell from the wardrobe.

My eyes widen when I saw an envelope on the colour. Keeping the gifts on a table I picked the envelope quickly before it will absorb the colour. But it had absorbed a little colour. Abir will kill me. I opened the envelope to take a glance of it, whether it's something important or not. I was thankful as the inside paper was not stained much..

Aarav Agarwal, bhai's name in bold letter caught my attention.. I started reading the paper, my heart beat started dropping. As I was proceeding further, my eyes started becoming moist. It was bhai's custody paper.

Bhai had choosed Dad over Mom?

He choosed that man who never loved his sister, who still blames his sister for every other thing. My mind just went blank .. I could not believe it so I again read it, my stomach twisted in pain..

Wait! How these papers came here? Abir! I gazed at the envelope, on the template. The issued date was before one month. Abir knew it before so long but didn't tell me knowing how sensitive I am in this topic.. Folding those papers I threw it in the Dustbin. Taking the gifts I went inside..

I still can't believe bhai choosed Mr Agarwal. Every step towards the stage felt heavy. Nobody really care what I will feel! My eyes got blurry as tears occupied my eyes. Letting out a deep breath I calmed myself and went to stage. Giving them the gifts I came back, I started feeling cold. I thought to leave the reception but seeing so many media outside I dropped the idea.

"You are here, I am finding you everywhere, " Sam said coming to me, before I could say something she dragged me with her, I was not even in a mood to respond anything. The new bitter revealed news was something to break me completely. I was not angry on anyone. I was just hurt, deeply.

I stopped seeing Abir, he always says that promises are meant to be broken , I never knew he actually meant it. From morning to night I share every little things with him and he didn't share such a big news with me. Behind my back he even started resourcing about my family background . Sam again dragged me, I gave up and went towards Abir, with him all his cousins were their.

I stood their silently, they were planning to give a surprise to Bhai and dii. Their words were hitting my ear drum but my mind was not absorbing anything. My eyes were fixed on the green grasses, aimlessly I was staring at it.

"Want to taste it? " Abir asked forwarding a spring roll to my mouth, I shook my head taking a step back.

"Taste it na, it's so good, " he said being excited, I again shook my head.

"Are what what happened? Mishti Agarwal is denying to eat snacks ! Seriously, " he said and everyone started laughing.

"I had enough, " I said trying to make him understand but I guess he won't step back until something worse come out of my mouth. "Only one bite, " he said, I was at the verge of yelling.

"Can't you hear , I don't want eat means I Don't Want To Eat! " I shouted at him being frustrated, he looked at me blankly as well as his siblings.

Without saying anything I left and went to a corner and sat over a chair. My blood was boiling in anger. Closing my eyes I kept my head on the headrest. Slow music was playing in background, rather than comforting me it was making me more irritated. I just want Abir to not come to me otherwise I don't know what rubbish I will speak.

In my mind I was just making thousands of theories and nothing satisfied me. Bhai had clearly told me that he will do everything to stay with me and at the end he did this? Which easily broke us, parted our ways.

"Are you okay? "

I snapped my head up hearing Abir's soft voice, giving him a slight node I fixed my gaze at my lap.

"I just need some space, please leave me alone, " I said calmly, but my words didn't change his mind. He sat on his knees in front of me and made me look at him. As soon as my eyes met with his hazel eyes, I felt mixed emotions. Air stuck in my throat.

"What happened Princess? " he asked me softly, I again shook my head.

"My head is spinning, please I am not in a mood to talk, " I said and sighed in defeat.

"Should I press your head? " he asked , if it would have been any other day I would have melted by his words. He being the most caring boyfriend asked me to press my head at his bhai's reception .

"Just give me some alone time I will be fine, " I muttered , his concerned filled face changed as a wave of sadness crashed against him hearing my response. Nodding his head he left. My eyes followed him, he joined his friends group, as soon as he shifted his gaze to me I looked away.

After some seconds I shifted my gaze to him, staring at the ground he was nodding his head , in response of his friends talks. He snapped his head to me and again I looked away.. I again went to food corner and grabbed a water bottle . Holding the bottle I headed towards a lonely place where no sound was coming.

Gulping some water I threw the bottle. It was so peace here, even though I was battling with so many things in me, I felt little relaxed. My hairs were blowing due to the cold wind. I got startled when two strong arn took me in a back hug, the familiar cologne touched my nostrils and I realized it was Abir.. He buried his face in the crook of my neck, I closed my eyes feeling the warmth of his lips..

I could feel his steady heartbeat against my back. "Are you hiding something from me? " he asked me and I came out of my zone. Who is asking? Removing his hands from my waist I detached him from me and turned my body to face him..

"It's been so many days I haven't spent my time with my family, that's why I am not feeling good! " I lied, he looked straight into my eyes, trying to read my mind. But my blank feature gave no answer to his unasked question.

"Don't be sad! I will drop you in your home tomorrow! " he uttered in a low tone, I nodded and headed towards the reception, he followed me silently.

"Come we will click a family picture! " he said holding my hand, I looked at the stage, everyone were present there.

"You go, I am so tired, I want to sleep, " I said, my social energy is totally dead. The glow from my face had gone somewhere .

"But where are you going? I was not finding my suit so I messed my whole room, " he said.

"I will sleep in Sam's room, "

Without waiting for his reply I walked out. As soon as the bright light went from my sight I felt relieved. I closed the door of the huge mansion and went upstairs to Sam's room. Nowadays in Sam's closet, I keep my dress because most of the time I stay here in night. Picking one comfortable cloth I went to washroom. When I wore this gown I thought to click so many pictures of myself but now it's so hard for me to even give a fake smile.

I came out of the washroom after freshened up and wearing my cloth. Switching off the light I laid on her bed.. It's not my body but my brain was tired so I slept as soon as I closed my eyes.

I was in my deep slumber, it got disturbed when I felt Abir's lips on my forehead. I let out a deep breath but didn't open my eyes..

"Bhai if you want then take her to your room, it's okay.... " Sam said to Abir.

"No! Let her sleep here. She doesn't want to be with me that's why she slept here, I don't want to force her, " he said, I could sense his hurtful voice. After caressing my hairs I heard his footsteps.. Slowly I opened my eyelids, Sam locked the door from inside and I closed my eyes. It's around 3:00 am. So the reception ended just now. Turning on my side I again fell into deep slumber..

It's around 10:30 am, Sam was still sleeping. Wearing a plane simple grey saree I came out of her room. Principal had informed me about an meeting which is at 12:00 . So I need to go to my college before the meeting time. To my good luck I didn't find anyone, everyone must be tired.. I went to the kitchen but before I could enter inside my gaze fell on Abir . It didn't take me a second to take a U turn, I walked out of the dining and went to hall.

"Hello! What! "

I stopped hearing Abir's voice. Slowly I turned around and he came to me. He started scanning me from top to toe. "Are you going to college? " he asked me and I nodded. He burrowed his brows in query.

"You were supposed to go to your home, right? Then? "

"I have a meeting in my college so I am just going college, "

"Okay! Take your breakfast before leaving! "

"I am not in a mood, " I replied.

"What is wrong with you? From yesterday you are behaving so weird? Tell me what happened! " he sounded serious.

"Nothing ! Let me go, I am getting late, " I replied and turned my heel to go.

Before I could take a step forward he held my both elbow and pushed me onto a wall, caging me between him and the wall. His eyes were spitting fire, clenching his jaw tightly he stared at me.

"Don't test my patience, tell me what happened? " he whispered in a most dangerous tone.. I kept my both palms on his chest trying to push him. But he was too strong against me.

"Abir I don't like to repeat myself. I already said nothing has happened to me, " I said being equally frustrated.. He closed his eyes in anger and again made an eye contact with me..

"Please don't be the stubborn girl like last time, you know what had happened during bhai's engagements. Please clear out these things, what's bothering you! " he said while trying to calm himself..

I stayed silent. Removing his hands from my elbow he glided his hands to my waist and held me properly in his embrace. It was enough to melt me.

"Abir let me go! I don't want to argue with you right now, " I whispered looking at his shirt bottons not wanting to look at his hazel eyes.

"Mishti for God sake don't behave like this, I myself is not in a mood to argue with you but only if you will keep your stubbornness at a side, " he said gritting his teeth. I lost my patience level and could not hold myself more from bursting..

"Why do you think everything will happen according to your wish? I am stubborn and thank you for always reminding me that, " I said cockily. He let out a deep breath.

"I really don't know where you are taking this topic to? Why can't you tell the truth? What's bothering you? " he shouted at the top of his voice.

"Like you tell me every damm truth. Aren't you the one to start the trend of hiding things from me. From the beginning whatever I ask you, you always distract me or do something which make me not ask you anything about that? Then why you want me to tell the truth! " I concluded, he loosened his grip around me and I freed myself.

Seeing his facial expressions I realized he understood what is bothering me. Without saying more I left, he too didn't stop me. As I wore my sandals tear drops started falling from my eyes which I was holding since forever. It hurts me to hurt him still I did. But he too should learn this. Always ! He always hide every single thing from me and this is just enough!
