Mishti :)

I was roaming in the hall, constantly tapping my feet against the carpet in nervousness. Finally after 15 days I am going to face my family and they are going to ask thousand of questions to me and Mom must be angry on me. As the door bell rang, I ran to open it. Taking a deep breath, trying to relax my nerves, I opened the door..

I just stood at the door side, one by one everyone entered, I went to Mom to hold her luggage, but she didn't let me. All went inside and laid on the sofa, they all were looking tired. I locked the door from inside and stood their silently.. I glanced at the watch, it's already 10:30 PM. Just few hours left for my birthday.

I went to kitchen and brought water glass for everyone. They took it silently. "Hiii, " I muttered with a awkward faint smile. The environment was never this formal. I mean who say Hii to her family members.. Nobody say anything, so I just went and sat beside Chachi, only she can save me from all..

"How was your journey? " I asked to her, she glared at me, I gulped.. "You guys have bought something for me? " I again asked to all of them but no response. I made a pout, they all were ignoring me.

"Why you guys are not talking to me, " I whispered, still no response. I shook chachi's hand she looked away. "Mom, say something na, I know you are angry, but I am sorry na, it won't happen again, I promise, " I apologized to her, still no response from anyone. Thry all were behaving like I don't even exist. I felt like crying, tears were already formed in my eyes..

"Aree she already started crying, you guys stop your acting, " saying bhai came to me, sitting beside me he pulled me in his embrace, all started laughing. I stared at them in confusion, a prank? Seriously, here I became so scared thinking they won't talk to me..

"Aww my Golu, " saying bhai pulled my cheeks and laughed throwing his head back. I stared at his laughing face, so many emotions ran down my spine. How much I missed him in these 14 years! Again those questions raised in my mind, but I didn't feel like asking, it's my birthday tomorrow and I don't want to ruin it.

Wrapping my both hand around him, I side hugged him. All stopped laughing and stared at both of us. Bhai too got startled due to my sudden act. My heart is too weak, I couldn't hold myself back. He caressed my hair in his another hand. I am still angry on him, I still need my answers, but somewhere deep down I know how much he loves me. I was with my family here, but he was alone, he had no one there.

Breaking the hug, I came back to previous position, it was awkward for me to look at everyone. And I knew bhai could sense. "Guys, I am going to my room, I am so tired, " saying bhai got up and went to his room. "We will talk tomorrow, " saying Mom too left. I went to Chacha and hugged him, " I missed you, " I muttered, "hmm that's why you didn't come with us, " he complained.

"Sorry na! " I muttered, he kissed me on my forehead and broke the hug. "You guys go and sleep, " I said to them and they both left. Only bhabi was there in the hall. She came to me and stood just in front of me..

"When you hugged him, the smile he had on his face na was the real smile, I had never seen his real smile in these past years. I don't know what had happened between you two, but he really care for you. Everyday I used to go to him, only thing he used to talk is about you. His conversation used to start with you, end with you. The pain he had went through these years , I can't even say.. But I am happy that he finally came back to you all, " she mumbled and left.

Silently I went to my room and sat on bed. What was the reason for which he had to leave me? Why no one have any answers to my question.. I put my head on the headrest and closed my eyes..

"Happy Birthday"

I jerked into sitting position hearing the loud voice of excitement of my family members. Blinking my eyes, I stared at them in shock, I was not expecting them to wish me at 12:00. They all were tired, I thought they slept. I smiled brightly, bhaii put a cake in front of me on my bed.

After 14 years, I am going to celebrate my birthday with my full family and it's making me so excited and happy. I blew the candle and cut the cake. I fed first piece of cake to Mom and then fed everyone, they too fed me. Bhabi left to kitchen with the leftover cake ..

"You have to wait till morning for your gifts," Chacha said and I chuckled.. "Thank you for this early wish, but you guys go and sleep, " I said to them, it was more like a order. Nodding they all left except my mom. She came to me and hugged me, placing a kiss on my head. "I love you, " she whispered, I smiled. "I love you more, " I said she broke the hug. As she left, I took my phone.

My phone got flooded with so many notifications. It's already 12:20 am. Sam was video calling me in whatsApp, I picked it and then realized it was a conference video call. Happy Birthday, all screamed in union.. All were present there except Abir.. Thanking all of them I cut the call.

There were so many missed calls from Soha and Adi and Abir. I got confused, whom to call first . Then my eyes fell on Abir's message..

I am waiting for you outside..

My eyes went wide, I ran to window. His car was parked outside of my house boundary. But he was not there, he must be in his car. Throwing my phone on the bed, I took a scarf from my wardrobe. Wrapping it around my neck, I opened my door silently. I took a glance at my whole house, everyone's room door was closed.

Taking slow and silent steps, I went to downstairs. Taking the keys with me, I opened the door. As usual the security guard was sleeping. I won't spare him today, do we give him money to sleep here. But I have to go outside, so without disturbing him I unlocked the gate and just closed it. I ran towards his car..

I couldn't see anything inside the car so I just knocked it. My breath hitched when I was caged between two strong arms around my lower belly, his dark captivate cologne reached my nostrils and I pressed my back head on his shoulder..

"Happy Birthday Mishti, " he whispered, placing a kiss on my back head, I closed my eyes in response.. He turned me around and took me in a bone crushing hug, I felt like I will merge into his body.. After some seconds he broke our hug and my eyes met with his beautiful eyes..

"You came all this way just to wish me? " I asked, it's more than 100 KM from his house. He shook his head, I raised my brows in query. "Actually I wanted you to start this year by seeing me, so that this year will become Abirified as your life is becoming, " he whispered in his husky voice, forcing my heart to stop beating..

Of course my life has become Abirified, and there is no doubt in it..

"Umm.. Okay... Now I need to go, " saying I turned my feet, but he stopped me, holding my wrist, which I was expecting..

"Wait! I have something for you, " saying he picked me, holding from my waist he made me sit on the car bonet.. I burrowed my eyes as he took a box out from his hoodie pocket. I took the box from his hand as he forwarded it towards me. I unwrapped the box and found another box in it.. I opened it slowly..

My eyes sparkled seeing a beautiful bracelet inside the box, but my face dropped within seconds when I realized it was a diamond-gold bracelet. "Abir, I can't take this, " I mumbled looking at him, he made a face like he was expecting this from me.

"You didn't like it? " he asked, placing his palm over my back palm..

"No no, it's really beautiful, but too costly, I can't take it, " I whispered, his facial expression changed , rolling his eyes, he inserted his both hands in his pocket.. This was just an simple act, but still my breath hitched. Everytime he just insert his hands in his pocket and stares at me, my hormones go crazy..

"I don't think we should really care about price, when the other person is giving you something with so much love , " he whispered, his eyes were fixed on my face. The cold wind was blowing, we both were under the open sky, moon and stars were enlightening our surrounding and  the hottest man was staring at me, and even I was staring back at his hazel eyes, due to all this it's becoming hard for me to not do something wild and embarrassing.

He came here to wish me and waiting for my response to that gift and here my mind was working on another way. I came out of my zone when he shook his hand in front of my eyes. Hardly a word was coming out of my mouth so I just nodded..

"Let me make you wear this, " saying happily he took the bracelet from the box, and put the box on my lap. While he was making me wear that bracelet, my eyes were fixed on his face, the most charming smile was not fading away.

"I know I am handsome, " he said , I looked down in embarrassment. I can't help myself in this type of situation. What can I do other than staring at him when he have such a beautiful face. Everytime I stare at his face I felt like I am watching paradise..

Tying the bracelet properly he took my hand near his lips making my breath hitched. When his lips brushed against my wrist, my toes curled and my eyes automatically got closed in response. He moved his lips from my wrist to knuckles, giving me hard time. I was struggling with the newly discovered feelings and he came with this act.

I opened my eyes when he placed a soft kiss over my knuckles.

Isn't it romantic to kiss someone under the sky, on a lonely road.. Of course he didn't kiss me on lips, but still the hand kiss was making me weak on my knees. What will happen when he will kiss my lips?

Shut up Mishti!!

My inner voice mocked me.

"Happy 26 ! " he wished me again and I just gave a faint smile in response, because my heart lungs kidney all were jumping in nervousness and of course due to my wild desires..

"What happened to you? You want to say something? " he asked, concern was all over his face. Slapping myself mentally I shook my head.. He gave a slight node..

"You should go now, " he said those words which I didn't want to listen. But I had no other option..

"Good night, " I wished him and put my feet on the road. "Bye! " he muttered, I waved my hand at him. He stayed there until I got inside my house boundary. As soon as I entered he left in his car . Locking the gate, I stared at the security uncle.

Going near him, I shook his shoulder, due to the disturbance he stood up hurriedly in fear.. "Uncle, if you are not comfortable in night shifts,why don't you talk with Chacha about this," I said politely. I mean what is the need of guard if he will just sleep here.

Chacha pay a good amount of money to them . "Actually I just accompany my son here, he have an eyes over here, so I sleep, " he said, in confusion I looked here and there. But no one was present except both us..

"He is there! " uncle said pointing at my back towards the security guard room. I turned around and got startled seeing a man of height near about 7 feet. I kept my hand over my heart , he was looking so horrible. With my tiny steps, I went to near him. I must be looking like an ant to him, because he is very large.

"You always stand here? I mean why here? " I asked, trying to keep my voice normal not scared.

"So that I can see what people are doing, " he said, I felt like he was mocking me. Narrowing my eyes I stared at him. "Whatever, but please don't tell Chacha or anyone about me, I mean I just went outside at night to meet my friend, don't tell all this to anyone, " I requested, he scanned me from top to toe and nodded.

The audacity of him to scan me, huh! Just because I am tiny doesn't mean I can't do anything.. Rolling my eyes at him, I went inside my house and locked the door from inside.. Thankfully no one was there. Keeping the keys at its place, I went to my room..

First I called back Adi, then Soha. The call continued till 2:00 am, I was giving a full update to Soha regarding my life..

My birthday really went well, like how I was expecting. I don't like parties on my birthday and my family didn't do anything which I don't like. My only wish from childhood was to spend my birthday with my family, because it's not something normal in my life at least. After bhai left I had never enjoyed my birthday, but after so many years finally I felt like I am enjoying the day..

First I went to temple with chachi and bhabi. Bhai had made both breakfast and lunch. We had a good time together the whole day. In evening we went to watch a movie, then we went to a restaurant for our dinner.. A normal birthday how I wished..

It's near about 6:00 PM, I was waiting for Abir to come.. Mom and Chacha and Bhai are in our office. I have to go college from tomorrow, and for that I need to go to my rent house today.. Chachi was saying me to go tomorrow, but I can't travel this early, it's hetric..

And now Chachi is giving me some suspicious looks, because even having enough car in our house, I have booked a cab. Of course I can't tell her that Abir will come here to pick me, what if she will take it as green signal and go to his house for marriage, because she is crazy and desperately want me to get married soon.

But I am not ready for all this.. Atleast not this soon, we both are not even dating, don't know in which phase we both are in. Neither we are only friends nor we are dating.

As my phone started vibrating, I glanced at my phone. It was of Abir. I picked the call..

Come outside..

Hm..

As I have plugged bud in my ear, I didn't cut the call.. "Chachi the cab is outside, bye bye, " I said hugging her, she kissed my cheek and broke the hug.. "I will join you till gate, " saying she wore her sandals, my eyes widen.

Let her come, otherwise she will doubt

Abir said, I sighed. The guards opened the door, Abir's car was just little far away from the gate. Chachi burrowed her eyebrows in shock, "Cab drivers have Mercedes nowadays, " she said in utter shock, I shut my eyes, Abir chuckled..

"All are rich nowadays! " I mumbled , she stared at me from top to toe, I gave her a faint smile. Abir's glass windows are made in a way that no one can see anything from outside , which was good for me at this situation..

"Okay, you should go now, " Chachi said, nodding my head silently, I went towards his car. I got inside hurriedly and took a deep breath. Abir started the engine and we left the place..

I put my purse on the table , Abir sat on a couch. I went to kitchen to bring a glass of water for him.. Siya had already left to Gujurat. Handing him the glass, I stood leaning against a cupboard. It's 9:30 PM. Abir really drives fast, but today don't know he was riding his car in lowest speed so it took us more than two hours to reach ..And we did our dinner in a restaurant ...

"I think you should go now, " I said to him, putting the glass on the teapoy he looked up..

"You have some work or what? " he asked and stood up, I shook my head..

"No! Actually I am little tired, after you leave , locking the door I will sleep, " I said, I was honest .... I joined my eyebrows in confusion when his lips twitched into a smirk.. Taking slow steps he came towards me, making me more confused and nervous..

"I think I can make you feel relaxed, " he whispered, standing just in front of me. My heart started beating fast when I understood the double meaning of his sentence..My back was in close contact with the cupboard so there was no way to go away and he came more closer and put his both hands on the cupboard at my two side of head..

"What do you mean? " I stammered, then cursed myself when his smirk went wide. You know what he meant Mishti.. I licked my dried lips and his gaze shifted from my eyes to lips, I again cursed myself. Then he again gazed at my eyes. My throat became dried.

I put my index finger on his chest trying to push him.

Woah! What a daring act!

My inner voice mocked me, even I will try to push him using my both hand, my energy will go in drain, so doing something like this is really stupid. He looked at my tiny finger and burst into a devilish chuckle.. I gasped when he held my palm and pulled me onto him , twitching my hand he put it on my back..

He trailed his fingers on my cheeks and stopped near my lips, making my heart jump.. "Abir.. " I whispered in nervousness, he raised his brows at me.. His eyes trying to read my face, I gulped. "I am really tired, " I mumbled, his grip around me got loosened and he parted himself away from me and I sighed as my heart beat came to its normal pace..

"Good night, " saying he left.. Taking a deep breath I locked the door, turning all the lights off I went to my room. After changing my dress and using washroom, I laid on my bed. I felt like my cheeks getting warmed. Even though I am tired sleep was far away from my eyes..

His every act was flashing in front of my eyes. Closing my eyes, I pressed my face on the pillow.. But only if it helped. I started counting from 100 to 1 , then again 1 to 100.. It always work but today it didn't. Argh, I hit my face on the pillow, God know why I was smiling like a fool..

After rolling for thousands time I finally fell into deep slumber..

(The next day) - 6:00 PM

Keeping my shoes outside of Rajvansh house, I entered inside holding 3 files in my hand. I came here to give these files to Sam. I directly went to Sam's room, her bedroom door was opened, I went inside but found no one. Keeping the files on her bed, I made my way to terrace which was attached with Abir's room , thinking she must be there.

As soon as I entered my eyes fell on a scared Sahil, who was looking towards the lawn, sitting on sofa. Abir's loud scream was making my eardrum break. I patted Sahil's shoulder, he threw a phone in response, but I held it. As soon as my eyes fell on the phone, I got to know it was of Abir's. I was about to keep it on the small table when it started ringing.

Sahil took the phone hurriedly and kept the phone in silent and threw it and it fell on another sofa. I stared at him blankly..

"Isn't he looking dangerous? " he said looking at Abir who was shouting at his PA. I nodded my head, but why Sahil is scared. I mean the boy who annoy the hell out of everyone is looking hell scared today is something I could not digest..

"What's wrong? " I said, sitting beside him. He took some deep breath trying to relax himself.

"While I was riding my bike, I hit a girl, " he said and I stood up from my place, with my eyes wide opened.. Pulling my hand he made me sit beside him..

"Is that girl okay? " I asked in concerned tone , he nodded.

"Can you please tell me what is wrong? " I asked getting irritated with his expression..

"Actually eeennn, " he started crying fakely but the emotions were true, I sighed..

"My two friends were sitting behind me on the bike, no one of us were wearing helmet, I was driving in wrong route and I hit the scooty by chance and that girl somehow managed to save herself from falling but she made a big issue out of it. The traffic police came running to us, he said I have to give fine of 20,000 rupees to break the rules ,  I agreed but he took photos of the nameplate and said he will take the amount from the owners of the bike. And it was Abir bhai's bike and from the time I have come, bhai's phone is here and that police is calling. I checked it in true caller, how will I tell bhai? He is already angry, now he will kill me, " he said..

My jaw was almost touching the floor, was anything left? Like he did such a big blunder, don't know about him but I myself became scared imagining Abir's expression. I gulped..

"By the way why is he angry? What did his PA did? " I asked to him..

"That PA had arranged three meetings in a row without even asking him and bhai had already fixed some meeting with his clients at that particular time. And his PA informed him at the last moment, he had to cancel that three meetings and now those clients are calling him Unprofessional. The word he hates the most, " he said, I just nodded in response.

I stared at his phone again a call came from that particular number..

"Girl! Why don't you talk with the police? " he requested, my eyes widen, I got up but he again pulled me and made me sit..

"Please just tell that you are Abir bhai's mom and you are really sorry for my acts and you will pay the price tomorrow," he said, I gulped..

"I myself will go to the traffic office and will pay but I can't say it to bhai, he will not give me bikes anymore, please I won't do such things again, " he almost cried, folding his hands together. I licked my lips.

"Pakka you won't do such things again? " I mumbled, his eyes sparked hearing a positive reply from me, he nodded like an obedient child..

Taking a deep breath, I answered the call, I know it's wrong but I can't see Sahil like this.

Saying I cut the call and threw it on the sofa. My whole body was trembling in fear, Sahil had a sign of relief on his face, but mine was completely opposite..

"Won't he check his call logs? " I asked, I didn't think about it..

"He got thousands of call , don't worry he won't check it, " he said, I gave a slight node.

"Okay, I am going to my house, " saying I got up, he too stood, "Come I will accompany you, " he said, I nodded..

Wearing our shoes , we both made our ways towards outside. All of a sudden Abir came in front of us, my heart dropped in fear. He was talking with someone in phone, so just didn't notice both of us and went inside house.. The PA went behind him. Letting out a deep breath, I left the place with Sahil..

It's around 1:00 in the night. After finishing all my official work, I went to kitchen to drink some water. I was feeling guilty, for answering the call. I just hope Abir won't get to know about this, otherwise he will throw both of us out of this planet.

My eyes fell on the Dustbin, I forgot to keep it outside. Taking the Dustbin with myself, I opened the door and went outside. Keeping the Dustbin on the boundary wall, I went inside my house and pushed the door.

I directly went to washroom. I don't know why I was getting some really weird vibes, may be it is because of what I did. Coming out of the washroom, I turned off the light. My heart jumped when I saw some 6,7 people in my bedroom, their heads were wrapped with black clothes..

Shit, I had just closed my door, I forgot to lock it. Mishti, you are gone.. I took a step back, when they noticed me . They all took a knife out of their pocket and came towards me.

Seeing them , it felt like they were some thieves.. "Oyee! Open your wardrobe, " one guy came forward showing his knife. My eyes widen, my whole body was trembling. "Don't act smart and help us in doing our work, " I stiffened hearing a dangerous tone .

God! I put myself in big trouble. My phone was on the dressing table and my wardrobe was just near it. As an idea came to mind, nodding my head I went to dressing table and handed them the keys. My eyes widen when more three people entered the house. God! I can't fight with 10 people..

As they all kept their focus on their work of stealing, I opened my phone, keeping it behind me. I pressed Abir's name, he is the first person who came to my mind. The phone kept ringing but he didn't pick it. My heart was beating as they kept my jewellery in their bag..

I again called Abir and thank fully he received the call. The phone vibrated in my hand so I realized he picked it..

"Please leave that locket, " throwing the phone, I shouted and snatched the locket from one of the thief hand. I fisted my palm tightly holding the locket. This locket is precious to me..

"Give it to us, " one of them shouted..

"Take everything, but not this, " I said, trying very hard to not sound scared.

"You won't tell us what to do, " a guy said showing his knife.. I took some steps back when his gaze fell on the bracelet I was wearing.

"Please I request, I can't give these two to you, " I mumbled, that guys came dangerously close to me.. My hand hit on a glass flower bucket. Holding it in my hand I hit the bucket on his head.

I hit everyone who came in middle. I was about to run away from my room when I bumped with someone. As soon as the cologne touched my nostrils, I felt relaxed. It was Abir..

The thieves came to us in union, I dialled police while Abir was fighting with him. My phone flew away as someone kicked my hand.. I was about punch him when he pulled me, my back hit his chest. Abir stopped when that guy kept the knife in my neck..

"Leave her, " Abir shouted, two people held his both hands. Another man came to me, I hele my wrist tightly not wanting him to take the bracelet, in another hand I was holding the locket..

"Give it to us, " he shouted, I shook my head. My breath hitched when that guy kept the knife close to my neck...

"Leave her you dumbass, " Abir roared, I gasped.

"Then tell her to give the ornaments to us, otherwise it won't be good for her, " The guy shouted, Abir pleaded me to give that to them through his eyes but I being adamant shook my head. He stared at me helplessly.

"Mishti please, " Abir whisper-yelled but I again shook my head, he glared at me in anger..

"They had already taken enough, " I muttered and all glared at me.

"You won't tell us what to take, what to not take, " he yelled, I kept my mouth shut.

A hope raised in me when I heard the siren of police van.. The guys left me and ran for his life. Other guys left too. The guy who was holding two bags, Abir held his hand. Abir took the bags from him but could not keep him as he pushed him.

As soon as they left Abir came to me, flame was coming out of his both ears. I gasped seeing his expression. "Are you mad? Is all this things are more precious than your life? " he shouted, I kept silence..

He stood beside me as police entered inside my house.. I was already scared, seeing these officers I became more scared. Abir held my palm, I let out a breath..

I told them about everything, one of the officer was writing my statements, Abir was silently listening to me.. "How did they enter inside? " One of the officer asked, my heart stopped beating. I can't tell lie, because I have no proper lie which will satisfy them..

They asked me again and I stayed silent. "Mishti they are asking you something, " Abir uttered pressing my hands, I gulped..

"My.. my door... was opened, I forgot to lock it, " as soon as the words came out of my mouth Abir's grip around my hand loosened, he stared at me blankly as well as the officers..

"It's 1:00 in night and your door was opened, I hope you know that you are living in Mumbai, " one of the officer said strictly, I was just playing with my fingers. After asking some more questions they left taking two bag with them, giving me my jewellery back .

As soon as they left Aadarsh bhai came, my whole body was trembling in fear, Abir is going to kill me, I can sense it seeing his expression.. I again repeated the whole story as bhai asked, the whole time Abir's piercing gaze was on me.

Bhai gave me a blank look, then looked at Abir and then again at me.

"How can be someone so careless , " Abir said, sitting on the sofa, keeping his one leg on another.

"Abir leave na, she is already looking so scared, " Bhai said, I was biting my lips.

"Bhai please don't take her support, " he said, bhai sighed and sat on another sofa.

"Can you please turn around and show me your beautiful face, " Abir mocked, tears were already dropping from my eyes.. Can't he just act little polite, I know it's my fault but after all this rather than trying to comfort me , he is taking my classes..

"I am talking to you Mishti, " hearing his warning yet dangerous voice, I wiped my tears and turned around, my gaze were fixed on the carpet...

"Why the door was opened? " he asked, his burning gaze was on my face, which I could see even though my eyes were not on him..

"I forgot! " I muttered, still looking at the ground.

"How could you forgot to lock the door? " he shouted, getting up from his seat. I flinched due to his sudden roar, bhai came to me and wrapped his hand around my shoulder. I didn't want those tears to drop from my eyes but I failed miserably..

"Abir please calm down, " bhai said, he was already angry and now I just added fuel on it..

"No bhai, you don't know her, every time you come here you will find her door open. I mean how can someone let the door opened while staying alone, " he roared, making me more hurt. I was biting my inner cheeks to control the sob.

"Offo! It's not the time to speak all this, " Bhai said , he didn't say more. Bhai is so sensible unlike him. "Mishti, let's go to home, it's not safe to stay here. I will told my guards, they will keep their eyes on your house, we will discuss about this tomorrow, " bhai said, I just gave a nod.. I was in my decent dress, so I just went to my room and kept the locket in my wardrobe and that ornaments bag too.

Taking my phone with me, I first locked my bedroom. As the two brothers went outside, I locked the door from outside. Both the brothers had come with their respective bike. "You will go with him or me? " bhai asked to me, rolling his eyes Abir climbed up his bike.

"I won't go with him, " I mumbled, bhai chuckled and nodded. I sat behind bhai, all the time Abir's gaze was on me but I didn't look at him. Bhai started his bike, Abir was coming behind us.

As bhai parked his bike, I directly went inside his house, not wanting to face Abir. As soon as I entered I bumped with Sam. She started asking me thousands of question. I dragged her with myself and went upstairs to her room.

"I am sleepy, I will tell you everything tomorrow, " saying I laid on her bed, she too didn't ask anything and slept beside me after turning the lamp light off..

In morning I went to college with Sam, not before taking my files with me from my house. 6 to 7 guards were outside of my house. I didn't meet with Abir the whole day. Bhai said he will fix CCTV camera outside my house and two guards will keep their eyes on my house everytime.

I said to bhai that I will give them the salary and first he didn't agree but then agreed after my thousands request.. It was evening time, I was sitting in the hall, in rajvansh house. Both Sam and Sahil were sitting at my left and right side respectively.

Sahil was playing some games in his phone, me and Sam were doing our works.

"Sahil, Mom! "

We three snapped towards the door hearing Abir's voice. Sahil pressed my hand in fear. God did he get to know about yesterday traffic things? Wasn't he angry , now again I have to hear lectures. I put my head on the headrest being all annoyed..

Hearing his voice all came to hall, he was looking dangerously angry. And of course his eyes were on Sahil. As Aunty came he went to him..

"Mom why didn't you tell me about Sahil? " he asked, Aunty raised her brows in confusion. Abir explained everything, I felt like banging my head somewhere..

"But I didn't receive any calls, " Mom said, that's it. You are gone Mishti, Sahil was pressing my palm constantly..

"Who received the call ? " Abir asked in loud tone, all were silent. I could hear my own heartbeat..

"Sam you? " Abir asked, she shook her head hurriedly.

"Don't lie! " Abir said sternly.

"Bhai I was not in home that time, " she mumbled, my heart was beating like it will come out of my throat at any moment..

"Without my permission who answered my call? " Abir shouted turning his face towards his family. His back was facing me, I stared at Sahil, he shook his head to not tell anything to Abir.

"I don't like to repeat! " Abir roared making me flinched.

"Did you? " Sam whispered near me, but it was enough for Abir to hear. I shut my eyes when he turned his gaze towards me. I opened my eyelids slowly when I felt his presence just in front of me. I didn't dare to look at him.

Sam was just staring at me, with an horror expression. Abir sat in front of me on the large sized teapoy, my heart was hammering against my chest.. Keeping his elbow on his knees he leaned forward. I was constantly biting my inner cheeks, staring at my lap.

"Did you answer the call? "

I didn't say anything, only staring at my lap. My hand went cold.

"Did you answer the dammnn call? " he yelled, I shut my eyes in response and again opened it..

"I am asking you something, don't test my patience level , " he said in a calm tone, I licked my lips and nodded silently. The whole room filled with utter silence.

Silence before the storm..

I could hear both Sam and Sahil's heartbeat. They both were looking more scared than me. "Abir leave na, she is already stressed ab-" he didn't let Geeta Aunty complete her sentence showing his palm. I was playing with my fingers..

"Should I call it your stupidity or daringness, " he muttered gritting his teeth , his voice was low yet dangerous.. I felt tears occupying my eyes as everyone were looking at me. I felt embarrassing..

"Abir! Go to your room, " Bhai ordered, but he didn't remove his burning gaze from me.

"Bhai please, she is becoming so irresponsible! " he yelled at me..

"Abir I said go to your room, " it was more like a warn, I gulped. Without saying anything Abir stood up and made his way towards his room. I flinched when he slammed the door making a loud noise.

Geeta aunty came to Sahil and pulled his ear, "ouch Mom, " he yelped..

"Just because of you he shouted at her, " she yelled at him.. After her one by one all started giving him lectures, Sam and I were the silent viewer.

Poor Sahil!

Deep inside I was really hurt . I know I did the mistake but still I don't like when he shouts at me. From yesterday he is behaving all grumpy. I am not going to talk with him..
