kenzie pov

"yeah, why are you surprised?" jack asked confused. "because i didn't expect and alien to crush their ship in MY YARD!" i said my voice getting a bit louder making jack jump. "gosh, they were right when they said you guys are scary when mad." jack said softly. "who is 'they'" i asked confused.  jack looked at me and smiled, "oh! our leaders, they told us that humans are scary creatures who don't feel bad for anything and just kill things in their path" jack said. "um.. they are wrong about us" i said.  "i guess you are kinda right about that" jack said looking away.  i sighed, "i'm gonna fix the hole in the yard, i'll be right back. don't leave this room" i said, jack nodded and i walked out of my room and closed my door and walked downstairs and walked outside and grabbed the shovel and started to fix the hole.

jack pov

 i looked around kenzie's room, "wow she has a big cushion " i said.

i looked around the room until something caught my eyes. i walked over to it, it was green with red and black spikes and the thing looked grumpy.

 i smiled and picked it up and held it up to my chest. i heard kenzie's door open making me jump and hold the little thing to my chest but sighed happily when i saw kenzie walk in. kenzie looked at me and saw me holding the little animal in my arms. "oh, you found that stuffed animal?"  she said smiling. "this isn't alive?" i said sad. "No" kenzie said. i looked at the little animal and started to feel bad, "i'm sorry" i whispered to the animal and hugged him close and started crying. kenzie must of saw because she walked over, "he isn't dead." she said. i looked at her, "he isn't?" i asked.  "no but he isn't alive either, he is a toy." she explained. i nodded and still held the 'toy' close. "can i still name him?" i asked softly. "sure." kenzie said smiling. i smiled, "i'll call you, dex" i said smiling. "that's a cute name" kenzie said smiling. but then we heard someone call out, "Kenzie! where are you, you little punk". kenzie sighed and told me to stay as she walked out of her room. i sat on the big cushion thing and suddenly felt tired. so i laid down and felt my eyes get more heavy and soon fell asleep.
